CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PROVISION OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND ADDITIONAL / ALTERATION TO VINTAGE SEWAGE LINES AT AIR FORCE STATION TAMBARAM

(a) Consultant to make a visit to the site of work which includes Madambakkam Camp area, Golden Jubilee Area and Domestic area of Air Force Station Tambaram for evolving the draft design scheme and shall submit initial conceptual presentation in C Plus 7 days at Garrison Engineer (AF) Tambaram and there after shall prepare and submit the following details/documents in details within 30 days. (i) Collection of empirical data by ascertaining the estimated quantity of sewage generated, calculating the flow rates and finding out actual quantum of sewage to be treated etc. and submitting the design calculations based on data collected at site. (ii) Prepairing and submitting schematic layout plans showing RL/IL of the proposed sewer lines of the area covered within Air Force Station Tambaram proposed locations of the collection Sumps, Pump Houses, details and locations of Drop Manholes with reference to the proposed locations of STP and allied structures. (iii) L-Sectional diagrams of proposed sewage pipe lines and Manholes and Drop manholes (all relevant RL and IL should be mentioned). (iv) Design Details of self cleansing velocity of the sewer line between point to point and diameter of the pipes to be considered needs to designed in each case. (v) Preparing and submitting Detailed Project Report for hydraulic design of sewage disposal system with diagram marked on contour map sketch of scheme showing ground and invert level of Manhole including design of Pumps and pipe lines which will be used for disposal of sewage through pressure upto proposed STP. (vi) The consultant shall submit 07(seven) sets of all schematic layout plans, contour maps, data collected, test reports, design calculations, drawings etc, As mentioned above for scrutiny by the client. (vii) Vendor should submit detailed calculations of pipe line and number of manholes and drop manholes, collection sumps. (viii) Water hammer analysis for pressure pipe line and suggest the mitigations. (ix) Apart from giving the hydraulic design of sewage disposal system under gravity, the consultant needs to give design of pipes lines under pressure along with the suitable size of pumps. (x) The consultant will have to arrange a presentation (PPT) at the office of Accepting Officer / Chief Engineer’s office Bangalore (b) All above relevant documents to be vetted by government consultants/ approved engineering colleges. NOTE:- 1. All the details shall be submitted to A1 size sheets except sectional diagram and consolidated project plan (site plan, Schematic diagram) which shall be in A2 and AO sheets (07 sets). 2. All above details will have to be submitted in 07 CD's also. 3. Approximate number of dwellings in the area 550, Approximate population 8500. 4. Consultent shall be paid final agreed fees quoted in lumpsum price on completion of the total/ entire in one stage in the final bill on satisfactory completion at the entire consultancy services as required under the consultancy agreement.
