M & L for Taking out existing filter media like sand, gravel & ferminex from filtration plant of capacity 10,000 gallon per hour including soda & Alum Pots & removing from site and cleaning the internal surfaces of filtration plant with soda & Alum Pots with using PVC/Steel wire brushes to remove all scales, iron particles and finally clay & other foreign particles with clean water complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out existing unserviceable PVC nozzles and Supply and fix new PVC double deck type PP strainer nozzle of size 10mm to 15mm (3/8” to ½” inch) dia, push type complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted internal steel surfaces of Filtration plant shell painting with one coat of black bituminous paint suitable for drinking purpose of area exceeding 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of old painted external surface of Filtration Plant shell painting with first quality of synthetic enamel (gray shead) paint exceeding 10 cm in width or girth not otherwise described complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for packing of following sizes of new filter media in layers of approved quality obtained from ‘Barakar River’ complete all as specified and directed for Gravel of size 12 mm to 25 mm.
