Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to 250mm thick in three layers (75 + 75 + 100mm) wet mix macadam (WMM) specification in two layers including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per technical clause 406 of MORT&H specifications

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical clause 502 of MORT&H specifications.

Providing and laying 25 mm/ 50 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen 85/25 or VG - 30/40 @ 10.2%, fine aggregates, course aggregates, lime filler @ 17.92% of total, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine-grained hard stone chipping at an approximate spacing of 10 cm centre to centre in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces is not less than 1DDC, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MORT&H specifications (5th Revision, 2013)

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications.

Providing and laying 95mm dense graded bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG 30 @ 4.0% by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete, as per technical clause No. 505 of MORT&H specifications. Note :- I) If bitumen required is more than 4.00% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made and extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. (II) Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95% , anti -stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated is IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writhing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintainted and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying 40mm bituminous concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder VG - 30 @ 5.4% per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction complete as per technical clause 507 of per MORTH specifications. Providing and erecting a 'W' metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be f1Xed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810.

Providing and fixing of road stud 100x 100 mm, die-cast in aluminium, resistant to corrosive effect of salt and grit, fitted with lense reflectors, installed in concrete or asphaltic surface by drilling hole 30 mm up to a depth of 60 mm and bedded in a suitable bituminous grout or epoxy mortar, all as per BS 8 73 part 4: 1973.

Painting Two Coats on New Concrete Surfaces. Painting two coats after filling the surface with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces.

Recovery Items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calulating financial statement of rate agency. Material obtained from dismantling / scarifying of existing bituminous crust, granular material and dismantling of culvert etc. have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled / scarified material can be issued for use in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specification) on approval from the employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. The material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency. However, the reserve price is as given below:- Good Bricks @ Rs. 4.00 per each

Bricks Bats @ 450.00 per cum

Steel @ 22.00 per kg. Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit of before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieve material. There shall be no measurement after actual scarifying and if material after scarifying is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be enterained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rate below the reserve price will be entertained and reserved price will be considered for all purposes in case agency quoted less than the reserve price. Note:- (i) In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items/MoRT&H Items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR/MoRT&H. the unit and nomenclature given in HSR/MORT&H shall be applicable.
