Supply, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty LT under ground electric cable with aluminum stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade cross sectional area 120 sqmm 3½ core laid in trenches / ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc complete all as specified. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, clamps, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

All as per serial item No 1.00 here-in-before but of size 50 sqmm 3½ core.

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m depth or not exc 10 Sqm on plan and not exc 1.5 m in depth & getting out, for foundations of poles, struts, stays etc. or for laying underground cable etc. in soft/loose soil complete, all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 5.00 here-in-before but depth exc 1.5m and not exc 3m.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft / loose soil back in trenches after cables have been laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus (soil) obtained from excavation to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete, all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with FLY ASH BRICKS {As per IS-13757 (1993) burnt clay fly ash building bricks}, (OLD SIZE BRICKS) with width equal to the length of the brick laid dry & flat abutted with each other with gap between adjacent bricks not exc 10 mm over UG cable for protection complete all as specified & directed.

M & L for dry sand cushioning to PVC under ground cable with screened and washed sand and punning to provide a required cover complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.

Boring of holes under road, paverment, hardstanding by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine indluding HDPE pipe of 80mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa working pressure complete all as directed.

M&L Galvanised iron tubing, 50mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete.

Dismantling & taking down old unserviceable aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) and GI wire of any size from overhead lines on LT poles all as directed. Note :- (i) Weight of old conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (ii) Weight of the old conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS code.

Supply and fixing steel tubular pole, swaged type, 9 meter long, type 410 SP-31, with cast iron finials, base plate, proper pole cap, with & including two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black and yellow strips 30 cm each upto 1.5 metre height from PCC coping and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer to remaining portion of pole and marking pole number complete, including excavating and taking out old Unserviceable prestressed cement concrete LT pole, 9 meter long & making good hole to receive new pole all as specified & as directed. all as specified & as directed. Note :- PCC in foundation & coping shall be measured and paid for separately.

Dismantling and taking down mild steel work such as cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps, back plates etc from LT pole of any size all as directed.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable GI earth wire / guard wire /cradles etc of any size from LT pole complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling and taking down insulator, vitreous porcelain any type and size form pole complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping/pedestal of poles including providing necessary form work for fair finished exposed concrete surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of stay assembly & poles and similar works complete all as specified. Note :- Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

S & F Junction box made out of one piece moulded SMC IP 65 protection of size 300mm x 200mm x 100mm with hinged door and locking arrangement & including aluminium bus bar of rating 100 Amps, three phase and neutral, including one No MCB SP 6 Amps and cable entry from bottom, fixing on pole with MS flat of size 25x3mm with nut bolts, front openable complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No 20.00 here-in-before but of single phase

S&F of 2.5 sqmm 3 core PVC insulated round sheathed copper conductor cable 1100 volt grade (ISI marked) drawing into and including steel conduit from street light fittings to junction box and making necessary connection both at junction box and street light fittings and fixing accesories complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down street light fitting with bracket from prestressed cement concrete LT pole and refixing the same on steel tubular pole incl 2 Nos flat iron clamp 50mm x 6mm with nuts, bolts and washer and make street light functional using neccessary electric connection complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing cable path indicators for LT cable made CI plate fixed on MS angle of size 25x25x5mm and 600 mm long and fixing 300 mm below the ground level in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate of size 30x30x30 cm & painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including excavating, remoal of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note - Cable path indicator shall be provided at a distance of every 30 m; at cable joints and turning of cables and incorporated 1100 volts on it.

M&L for earthing to electric equipments / panels with and including galvanized MS earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6mm thick burried vertically in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, the earth plate surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15cm on all sides, excavation & earth work in any type of soil and removal of surplus soil upto 50m including galvanized mild steel strip 25mm x 4mm as earth lead, welding at top of electrode and other end of strip connected to equipment body/panel/test point with two Nos nuts bolts or welding with steel structure, GI earth strip encased in and including 40mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from upper edges of earth plate upto 3.00 metre above ground level fixed along equipment body/panel with and including 25x3mm FI clamps, bolts, nuts and washers, PCC chamber (1:3:6) type C1, MS funnel with wire mesh, GI pipe medium grade 20 mm bore for watering, 75 mm thick RCC cover 1:2:4 type B1 shall be provided on CI frame etc complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning factory made LT panel box (KIOSK), out door type, cubical type, platform mounted, suitable for 415 Volts, 3 Phase & neutral, 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply system, protection class IP-65, having bus bar chamber with insulated aluminium bus bars of suitable rating in colour code RYB with 3 phase & neutral installed on epoxy type insulators. The panel shall be dust and vermin proof, made out of 3.2mm thick CRCA MS sheet and 50 x 50 x 6mm thick angle iron for base frame work. The complete panel box shall be powder coated inside & outside (of approved shade), both side opening type, size of panel 650 x 450 x 900 mm including internal wiring with PVC insulated stranded copper conductor cables, IS 694 marked, 1100 Volts, of appropriate size but not less than 2.5 sqmm with proper ferrule & cable gland with aprons for cable entry with double door shutter including locking arrangement as per manufacturers all as specified and directed.

Note : (i) LT panel frame shall be 60 cm abovel GL and 30 cm below GL embedded in PCC (1:2:4), type B-2 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as directed by Engineer in charge. (ii) All incoming MCCB shall be connected through MCCB spreaders with incoming bus bar and incoming cable shall be connected with incoming bus bar. (iii) Drawing shall be got approved well in advance from GE before fabrication of LT Panel. (iv) Cost of platform, MCCB spreaders, cable glands, locking arrangement with lock and key and any minor addition/alteration if required at site (the decision of GE will be final and binding regarding extent to which the change can be considered as minor addition/alteration) shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
