SCHEDULE 'A'

Excavation over areas not exc. 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil including levelling of earth and removal of soil upto 50m, complete all as specified.

Raking out joints/pointing to old brick work in walls built in cement mortar by electric driven cutters without hammering and cleaning the surface with air blower and washing down with pressure water, thereafter applying cement slurry of 3 kg per sqm over the cleaned wall just before the application of cement plaster, complete all as specified.

Cutting out decayed bricks from old walls of any thickness by electric driven cutters without hammering, cleaning with air blower and washing down with and making good with new bricks in detached patches of not more than 7 bricks in each patch including material and labour for new brick work built in Cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified .

Cutting out decayed bricks 1 brick to 2 brick thick walls / pillars in patches exceeding 0.014 cum and not exceeding 0.50 cum each patch by electric driven cutters without hammering and making good with new brick work built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified . NOTE :- If the repair cutting area of wall is large "the cutting area of bricks should not more than 0.65m wide and 0.25 meter heigh at once, to avoid the probability of collapse.

Demolition of Brickwork built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding precast concrete articles complete all as specified.

Demolition of plain cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified.

Dismantling mild steel work of any description, complete all as specified.

Demolition of reinforced concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) complete all as specified. NOTE :- The quoted rates shall be deemed included for cutting of reinforcement by electric or mechanical means.

PVC (SWR) pipe of 110mm bore size as in weep holes etc., complete all as specified.

Brickwork with bricks as specified in particular specifications Section-II clause 5, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified .

Reinforcement cement concrete M-25 Design Mix using 20 mm graded aggregate as in columns and pillars complete all as specified Note. The formwork where ever required is included in the rate of item and shall not be measured & paid separately.

Taking down cement plastering of any description on brick or stone wall etc including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removal of debris and depositing where directed.

Mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified.

Mild steel TMT bars 5 mm and over up to and including 10 mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, in stirrups, spacers and binders, complete all as specified.

Reinforced cement concrete, M-25 Design Mix, using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundation beams, plinth beams etc, complete all as specified. Note:- The steel form work as required is included in the item rate and shall not be measured and paid for seperately.

Mild steel work angle iron fencing posts & including embedding in concrete and screwing etc, including cutting tops to shape as directed, bent to shape, drilling holes, notching for wire etc,flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) Including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc.of Fe-290 Gde E -165, complete all as specified.

Fixing only MS angle iron swan neck as in fencing including necessary repair welding, complete all as specified. NOTE:- Old steel sections obtained from dismantling will be reused in this item.

Preparing surfaces of steel and iron work, new or old,of any description treating small articles such as stop, covers, holdfasts, ends of posts, area not exceeding 0.10 Sq.m each and treated with tar or coal tar black, complete all as specified.

Plain cement concrete, type B-1 (1:2:4), using 20 mm graded stone aggregates, as in bed blocks, copings and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles & throating including provision of necessary formwork, complete all as specified. Note:- The steel form work as required is included in the item rate and shall not be measured and paid for seperately

15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 on brick or concrete surfaces finished even and fair, using water proofing compound, complete all as specified. (WPC shall be measured and paid for separately) NOTE :- The unit quoted rate shall deemed to be included:- (i) The rates for clearing/removal of sand/earth adjacent to along security wall upto 15cm from the existing ground level as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The rates for making good of the pitting over the wall upto 15mm deep by using cement mortar (1:4).

Mild steel bolts, dia of neck n exc 12 mm purpose made with hexagonal or square head on one end and screwed the other or screwed both ends each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut exc 30cm long for fixing of angle iron on wall.complete all as specified

Two coats of cement base paint of any colour/shade over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint on newly plastered surface of wall, including preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified.

Two coats of synthetic enamel paint over & including a coat of red oxide primer over new steel & iron surfaces of any description, exceeding 10 cm in width or girth including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified.

Two coats of synthetic enamel paint on old steel surface of any description, exceeding 10 cm in width or girth, including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified.

Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, as in repair etc. as directed, (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified.
