Amount

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc area not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 1 above but exc 1.5 metre and not exc 3.0 metre deep.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out/down old/unserviceable under ground HT/LT cables of any size and connections including pipes, cable protection bricks etc from trenches/duct/walls/poles/roof tops of any cross sectional area and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse and unserviceable materials removing from site as specified and directed. (Note : (i) Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. (ii) Old serviceable bricks shall be stacked at site for reuse including cleaning complete without any extra cost to the Department.)

M & L for Sand cushioning and covering with clean dry sand in trenches for protection of under ground cables (below, above and around the cable laid in trenches) complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Thickness after punning down shall be measured for payment)

Supply and laying well burnt bricks, locally available best quality bricks laid breath wise across the length of cable in trenches for protection of UG cables complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only old serviceable bricks obtained against Sch 'A' item No 05.00 here-in-above/befpre, laid flat, dry with width of the bricks laid to axis of the cable for protection of cable all complete as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast conncrete cable cover type 2, size 300X180X40mm thick in trenches for protection of HT cable all as directed.

Provision of trenchless bore using mechanical nuematic drilling equipment for passing electric cables through HDPE pipe of 100mm dia under the existing bituminous/WBM road/PCC hard standings, depth range not less than 1.0 mtr and upto 1.5mtr and making good to the distrubed surfaces of road to match with its existing specifications all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge at site. Note : 1. Quoted rates deems to be inclusing of necessary earth work, transportation charges of Drilling machine, and cost of HDPE pipe and passing pipe through bore complete. 2. Any damage to MES assets caused during trenchless bore shall be recitfied by the contractor at his own cost.

Laying only serviceable PVC insulated, armoured UG cable of any size, connecting, jointing using new glands, lugs etc and testing on completion complete all as directed. NOTE : - Old serviceable cable retrieved under item No 05 above shall be used for laying under this item.

Taking down damaged RCC electric pole any size/height and fixed in any position and Supply & fix/errection in true vertical position new 9.00 metre long steel tubular swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate , finial taper plug ,bolts, nuts & screws as specified type 410 SP -31 fixed in position including two coats of black bituminous painting externally upto planting depth and remaining portion two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer and making alternate black and white strips 30 cm height each (Total 5 strips), writing pole number (06 numbers letter/figure of 2" height) complete all as directed. NOTE :- Excavation and PCC works will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of BoQ.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded hard granite stone aggregate) in foundations for pole or in filling as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

PM&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded hard granite stone aggregate) as in coping to Electric Pole including necessary form work and finishing the external surfaces of concrete with 10 mm thick plastering in CM (1:4) finished even and smooth complete all as directed. (Note Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of form work and plastering complete.)

Taking out existing stone metal/aggregate and stacking aside at site for reuse/re-spreading after cleaning, removing grass, vegitation etc including levelling the existing ground level by ramming etc and finally spreading the old stone metal/aggregate in existing location all as directed.

Supply and spreading stone metal/aggregate of size not exc 40mm at sub-station/transfomer yard levelled properly complete all as directed.

Material and labour for preparation old steel section (ie post and other steel members) and chain link fencing and applying one coats of aluminium paint complete all as directed.

Material and labour in repair for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60cmx60cmx6mm thick electrode, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to GI earth strip of 25 x 4 mm up to test point by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers of GI including excavation and earth work, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 pit, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade, watering pipe and 32 mm bore GI pipe, light grade for protection of earth strip, MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm , 40 mm thick RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover reinforced with 6 mm dia MS bars @ 75 mm C/C both ways and with MS handle made out of 12 mm dia bars, funnel , wire mesh etc complete all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR part-I and connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion complete.
