EVENT MANAGEMENT : 18) Supplying sign-board made of 25 mm thick sal plank with frame on all side of sal batten 50 mm x 32 mm with nailed on post 3.15mx100mmx100mm and fitting fixing such with digging holes of dia 300 mm and depth 750 mm in all sorts of soil and repacking and consolidating the gap around the post with cement concrete (1 : 3 : 6) painting 2 coats including cost of nails, bolts and nuts etc. complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.Payment of concrete and painting to be made separately. (i) 600 mm. x 450 mm. size of board.

CHAPTER - I [ SUPPLEMENTARY ] EXCAVATION, SHORING, BAMBOO PILING, FENCING & SIGN BOARD, LIGHTING & SIGNALING AND SITE CLEANING ETC. 1.5 Cutting & picking up existing metalled black top portion of road surface to an average depth of 300 mm by using Jack hammer with all necessary tool and plant including reening the serviceable materials & stacking within a lead of 75 mtr. all complete as per direction of the Engineer-in- Charge.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

8.a)   Supplying, fitting and fixing with cement jointing (3:1) salt glazed stoneware pipe including excavation of earth upto 1.5 metre depth in all sorts of soil both mixed or unmixed and refilling (but excluding cementing at bottom and sides) b) 150 mm dia

PLUMBING WORKS (A)-(II) G.I. PIPE WORKS AND FITTINGS 9. C.I. sluice valve with flanged ends drilled to as per I.S. 1358/62 and having all cast iron components as per I.S. 780/71 solid forged bronze inside screw spindle having ultimate tensile strength not less than 4.72 MT per sq. cm. Spindle nut valve and seat faces of hard wear resisting, manufactured from best quality gunmetal conforming to I.S. 780/71, painted black all over with asphalt base paint tested to 21 kg (hydraulic pressure) per sq. cm., valve opening to anticlockwise direction, fitted and fixed complete. (iii) 100mm

CHAPTER - II LAYING & JOINTING PIPES, SPECIALS ETC.2.1 C.I. / D.I. Pipe & Specials  2.1 C.I. / D.I. Pipe & Specials 2.4Valves 2.4.1 Lowering, fitting and fixing of all types of valves in proper position and alignment using chain pully block or crane(for diameter above 250 mm) by providing temporary support,as required,gaskets,nuts& bolts etc.all cornplete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.[The rate Includes cost of flange joints]50mm dia.
