Fabrication and installation of Chandu chak/ Baspur bangla gate on D10 A sub distributary of D 10 canal at 10000 RD installed at Baspur bangla of RS Pura area by way of dismantling of damaged old gate lifting mechanism from the supporting channel and disconnecting the stem rod from the leaf structure then extracting out the damaged/worn out gate leaf structure with the help of manual labour using tools and tackles, chain pulley block and tripod/hydra crane after removing accumulated mud/silt around the gate leaf. Carriage of gate structure along with winch machine and stem rod to the road with the help of manual labour using tools and tackles. Loading in mechanical transport and then carriage to workshop. Fabrication of leaf structure of size 55 inches x 35 inches (approx) using the ISMC 75 channel size with vertical & horizontal cross members for support by way of cutting /welding using superior quality electrodes. The leaf of the gate should have 3 number vertical supports and two number horizontal supports welded together to form the frame. The MS sheet of 5 mm thickness needs to be welded over the fabricated frame of ISMC 75 channel. Making of provision for stem rod attachment with 2 no. L-shaped MS Clamps. Providing, fabrication and fitting of 1 no. stem rod MS bar of length as per the site conditions and then turning, threading, finishing to the original size. Fabrication of outer frame of gate for up and down moment of gate using ISMC 100 channel. The outer frame should consists of two side channels for up and down moment of gate, bottom sil beam and two channels on top to support the weight of winch machine and gate.Then outer structure of the gate have to be fitted in walls of the escape canal with cement and concrete mixture minimum ratio of 1:3:6. Fabrication, providing & fitting of 03 Ton capacity manually operated, worm gear type winch machine along with base plate of 6/8mm thickness. Oiling and greasing the gear and bearings mechanism before fitting. Providing and fitting of rain pipe over the winch machine to secure the stem rod and machinery. Loading the gate structure along with winch machine on the carriage vehicle for carrying to site of installation. Unloading the gate structure at road side then shifting to the site of installation. Installation of gate structure by way of lowering the leaf structure into the sliding grooves using manual labour, tools and tackles using chain pulley block and tripod/crane. Drilling requisite no. of holes in hoisting channels at site. Fitting of winch machine on the supporting channel and connecting the stem rod to the leaf structure after ensuring the proper alignment/gravity of the gate structure. Complete painting of gate structure with coats of red oxide primer and superior quality enamel paint ( Asian paints/ Kansai Nerolac paints/ Berger paints). Complete job includes cost of material, transportation charge, labour charges and testing for its smooth operation at site, cost of sand bags for stopping the flow of water in escape channel during the period of execution of work. Note:- The tenderers are requested to visit the site and quote the rate as per site conditions. Any modifications/ alterations of the job, absolutely necessary if required at the time of execution may be done as per actual site conditions.
