REPAIR TO ELECTRICAL FITTINGS, BUILDINGS, SECURITY LIGHTS, GEYSERS, SOLAR WATER HEATER, EARTHING ETC AT AIR FORCE STATION HIGHGROUND UNDER AGE (I) HIGHGROUND CHANDIGARH

Taking up / down water heater (Geyser) of capacity 50/35/25 ltrs operating on 230 volts AC electric supply, in any position and of any make, after disconnecting all electric connection and hot and cold water connection, and including transportation to the contractor's workshop for repair and vice-versa after repairing, general cleaning/overhauling, cleaning and discaling the tank and assembly with suitable detergent and making fully serviceable and fixing back in same location / position or new location complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) Repairing of any parts except the work mentioned in item will be measured and paid seperately under supply only items. (b) Replacement of any un serviceable parts required for making the geyser serviceable will be measured and paid seperatelly under "supply only" No extra payment will be allowed for replacing these items, as the same is deemed to be included in relevant item.

Supply only Stainless steel inner tank suitable for 25 ltrs Geyser of any make / shape /holes for fixing geyser assembly.

All as per item No 2 herein before but for 35 ltrs.

All as per item No 2 herein before but for 50 ltrs.

Supply only bottom base assembly of copper 9/8/7/6 holes type suitable for 35/25 ltrs capacity geyser complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 5 here-in- before but for 50 ltrs capacity geyser .

Supply heating element 1500/2000 watts capacity of any shape /type with rubber gasket .

Supply Thermostat suitable to adjust the temperature from 0º C to 80º C all as directed.

Supply only glass wool of good quality as approved by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only neon indicator lamp of any shape / size / colour all as directed.

Supply only PVC insulated sheathed 3 core flexible copper conductor cable of size 2.5Sqmm all as directed.

Supply only Safety plug any type.

Supply only non return valve 15mm bore cast copper alloy suitable for geyser complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only rubber gasket of thickness 5mm for geyser assy of 08/09 holes complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only bottom inspection cover plate in two pieces with suitable openings for indicator lamps, power cable entry with rubber washer etc, gauge of plate not less than 18 SWG for 25/35/50 Ltrs capacity geysers of any make/ shape complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only GI nut bolts and washers (not exceeding the size 150 mm x 12mm) of existing size of geyser spare parts complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only outer MS shell complete including top and bottom suitable for 25/35/50 Ltrs capacity geyser of any make, shape & size as per existing but gauge of sheet not less than 22 SWG complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair 16A ,30mA, PRCD power plug,220 V to provide safety against electric shocks with built in test and reset button complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing PVC connection 15mm bore 450mm long in any position with both end brass nut with inner thereading and washer suitable for cold water connection complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing CP connection 15mm bore 450mm long in any position with both end brass nut with inner thereading and washer suitable for cold water connection complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for spray painting of geyser outer body of any make / size by applying one coat of synthetic enamel white paint over the existing paint including cleaning and preparation of surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting of water connection and dismantling complete solar water heating system of capacity 1000 ltrs per day including hot & cold water pipes and hot water tank complete and refixing after repairing the system fixing back in position and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rates quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for :- (a) Making good the worn out missing nuts bolts, washers, union, sockets, flanges and screws etc. (b) Descaling/ desludging, cleaning and washing of the hot water pipes, copper tubes, hot and cold water tanks by using appropriate chemicals and re-assembling the panel including welding of collector fins as required. (c) Painting of staging, solar panel frame, hot water tank frame with applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint incl preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description (d) All other materials shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply only solar energy collector panel made of aluminium body with toughened glass complete with copper fins of capacity upto 1000 ltrs per day complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only as in replacement, solar panel toughened glass having thickness 5mm all as per the existing model of system complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only as in replacement, solar panel neoprene gasket to make system air tight, dust and water proof complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only as in replacement, copper tubes with collectors fins for solar energy collector panel complete of same dia and thickness as per existing, brazing by copper alloy brazing rod with the existing inlet/outlet hot/cold water pipes to make the panel water tight complete all as specified.

Supply only solar energy collector panel manifold 1.40 mtr long, made of 20mm dia copper tube having 1 No MS flange 74 mm dia welded at each end duly drilled for nuts & bolts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Rate quoted deemed to be included for welding of solar collector tubes with manifold all as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as recommended by manufacturer.

Supply only hot water storage tank of food grade stainless steel upto 1000 ltr capacity with heat exchanger having thermic fluid / Anti - freeze solution complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only auxillary tank for make up tank to reduce pressure of solar system complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item no 25 to 31: Cost of fixing charges for item no 25 to 31 are included in item no.22 to 24 respectively.

Supply and Fix in repair hose pipe for hot/ cold water for solar system of suitable length as existing size complete with 02 Nos clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix in repair Electrical back heater of 3 KW for solar system with all electrical connection complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for insulation of hot water pipe with glass wool and covering with aluminium sheet cladding 25 gauge for 20mm bore GI pipe including taking down old complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix rotational moulded polythene water storage tanks in repair, white colour (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part I of capacity 500 Litres all as specified and directed .

Supply and Fix in repair ball brass valve 20mm bore dia high pressure with polythene float and fly nuts complete screwed with iron pipe and fixed all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix in repairs gunmetal globe or gate valve with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipes 20mm bore as in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fix in repairs hot water pipe glass wool insulation with aluminium sheet 26 gauge cladding for 20 mm bore pipe medium grade all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix electronic meters temper proof LCD display with polycarbonate cover 230 V, 10-60Amp, accuracy class-I 50Hz, conforming to IS 13779, IP-54, with parameters to show data, time, current reading, load, PF, voltage and KWH. Note : Old meter shall be deposited in MES Store.

Material and labour for earthing in repair complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, earth lead GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check-nuts and washers of galvanized iron and of earth wire protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 15mm bore and water pipe 20 mm bore GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh complete including excavation and earth work, PCC chamber and cover in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in lieu of CI cover and frame etc all as specified and shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR-2009 (Part-I), testing on completion, complete including dismantling of existing earthing all as specified and directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:3:6) type C-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI strip and protection pipe of length 7.5m, excess beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. .

Material and Labour for Chemical Earthing in repair with copper pipe electrode 3.0 M long having outer pipe dia 80mm & inner pipe dia 50mm duly filled with highly conductive and anti corrosive compound of required quantity having chemical compostion Bentonite 40%, copper sulphate 20%, Gypsom 5%, Graphite 10%, Alum 5%, Zinc sulphate 10%, Aluminium sulphate 10% buried in ground by digging a bore of 150mm dia surrounded by soil friendly backfill compound non soluble in water including connection with Copper earth strip 32x6mm upto 7 meter length, making PCC pit of size 0.3mx0.3mx0.3m (inner size) in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 with 40 mm thick cover in RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 reinforced with 6mm dia MS bars 3 Nos both ways with lifting hook made out of 8mm dia bar and testing on completion to acheive value not more than 1 ohm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for taking down old aluminum/copper /GI strip of any size including porcelin insulator for complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for taking down old air termination rod,GI pipe includng PCC foundation complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement for GI strip 25x4mm as in eath continiouty conductor all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement for alluminum strip 25x3mm as in earth continiouty conductor all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for PCC 1:3:6 Type C-I using 20mm graded agrgate for PCC of size 0.3x0.3x0.25 cube with for mounting GI pipe 40mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repair for Sub Main Wiring (in replacement) with two single core 2.5 Sqmm (nominal area) multi stranded copper conductor FRLS PVC insulated and unsheathed colour code cables, drawn in and including PVC conduit of suitable size with and including one run of continuous multi stranded copper conductor 2.5 Sqmm (nominal area) FRLS PVC insulated and unsheathed colour code cable for earth continuity, 1100 volts grade , complete all as specified and directed. Note(s): (i) Two runs of 2.5 Sqmm main cable + one run of 2.5 Sqmm cable for earth continuity and PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit/one Running Metre.

M & L for cutting and removing the old defective/ burnt winding, cleaning the core of ceiling fan motor of sweep size upto 1500mm, rewinding fan motor with super enamelled copper winding wire of same gauge with insulating material, varnishing the core assembly, drying up the moisture content, re-assemble the same after spray painting to existing color complete all as specified and as directed.
