Providing, fitting and fixing in position true in line and level elastomeric bearings (conforming to IRC: 83 (Part-II) section- IX and clause 2005 of MORTH specifications) on Pier cap / abutment cap, complete in all respect as per specification. Item includes approval 10 from the Engineer-in-charge, supplyig , testing, transportation to site, storage with all handling, lead, lift etc. and placing the permanent bearings in position. Cost of providing temporary bearings / supports as required and other incidental expenses (if any) shall also be included. Bearings shall be provided with a warranty of trouble free maintenance of 15 years.
Lifting of deck uniformly by deploying appropriate hydraulic jacks in combination with screw jacks with centralized power pack upto 500 mm to facilitate for removing of existing bearings appropriately without damaging the girders. After completion of the restoration of main girders at supports, strengthening/restoration of pedestal and replacement of proposed bearings, lowering of deck shall be carried out to its original position without causing any damage to the deck as per drawing and standard practice .The item includes all labour, materials, equipment etc. required for lifting complete as per direction and instructions of Engineer in Charge including MORTH technical specification (clause 2808). The scope of work in the item includes lifting from underneath or from over the deck as per requirement at site, Lifting of super-structure of bridge for resetting if required/refixing of new bearings including removal of old bearings and including all higher and running expenses of all plants, jacks, machines and equipments temporary supports, required for keeping the superstructure in lifted position for completing the operation, lowering of super-structure on bearings, without causing any detrimental effect to any part of the bridge structure complete but excluding cost of replaced bearings. Providing and applying ready mix pre-packed cement based polymer/ Latex modified mortar/ concrete (minimum compressive strength at 7 days not less than 20 N/sqm and that of 28 days not less than 38 N/sqm) confirming to ASTM-C-1059-86 Type II with 10% SBR latex by weight of cement for different thickness in over spalled concrete surfaces in Box girders, diaphragms, brackets, deck slab, pier/abutment etc. as per the methodolgy given in Clause 8.2 of CRRI report.. The item is inclusive of all scaffolding, shuttering, labour, materials, equipment etc. complete as per specifications and instructions of Engineer in Charge. The rate is inclusive applying structural layer/coat confirming to ASTM-C-882-91 prior to application of polymer modified mortar to ensure bond between old concrete & new system by brush application, levelling, profiling etc. complete as per specifications and instructions of Engineer in charge.
Providing and inserting galvanised steel injection nipple in honey comb area and along crack line including drilling of holes of required dia upto a depth as specified at required spacing and making the hole and crack dust free by blowing compressed air, sealing the wtih distance between injection nipple with epoxy putty and clean the surfaces with suction method and allow it to cure complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge and the methodology given clause 8.1 of CRRI report. Grouting for cracks on the surface or in depth of concrete complete in all respects as per the specifications. Work includes drilling of holes of size as directed, fixing of nozzles, complete , cleaning of dust and loose particles by suction method. It also includes saturation of concrete surface at crack as directed, filling the cracks with low viscous (100-200 cps)-low modulus (1000-2500 MPa) Epoxy resin as per the specification and grouting the cracks complete in all respect and as directed by engineer-in-charge Work includes making 'V' groove of 13mm wide and 20mm deep over crack line by electrically operated angle grinder with diamond concrete saw blade and cleaning it by air blower as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Sealing of exposed 'V' groove of 13mm wide and 20mm deep with solvent- free, moisture tolerant, thixotropic, two part structural adhesive and epoxy repair mortar cum surface levelling mortar.
Providing & fixing rebar of required length & diameter with approved make Epoxy resin wherever required in RCC members including power drilling, cleaning of holes, then rebars should be inserted in holes that should be filled with epoxy to ensure the bond as per manufacture recommendation complete as per site requirement and directions of Engineer-in-charge. Disposal of building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting and unloading the same at any C & D waste management site within 25 kms. lead i.e. Shastri park/ Burari/ Mundka including weighing at plant etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in charge. Weighing and unloading at the plant shall be as per procedures/ rules of the plant management. The rates are inclusive of all operations, labours, leads and lifts from site of work to the C & D waste plant. The processing fee of C & D management at prescribed rates will be deposited by the agency and the same shall be reimbursed by the department on production of only original cash receipts.
Purchase and taken away the dismantled materials – serviceable/unserviceable which is to be received from the work shall be taken away by the Contractor as and where basis for which cartage shall be borne by the contractor himself and against these material payment shall be made by the contractor to the department or necessary recoveries shall be made from the bill as per the quantities received for different materials. Providing and erecting steel props (up to full height) braced at centre, resting on wedge and block to support the structure provisionally during repairing work and maintain them in position till required and as directed by engineer-in-charge.
Cold milling asphaltic surface/ pavement (removal) of BD/DBM-or any asphaltic material from road surface concrete surface) in thickness of 40 to 100 mm so as to maintain surface below in shape, slope and undamaged workable lay fresh layer of asphaltic material in line, level size depth as directed by engineer-in-charge including transportation and disposal of removed material from site for all lift and loads, cleaning of surface and making good of asphalting work including local repair or damage/ distress occured after milling etc. complete as per method and machinery prescribed in IRC.
Providing and laying stone matrix asphalt using stone aggregate of specified grading pre mixed with bitumen binder and filler using stablizing additive @ 0.30% by weight of total mix, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped electronic sensor to the required grade level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled vibratory and tandem roller to achieve the desired compaction including spreading of aggregate of size 1 to 3 mm applied over the hot surface @ 1 to 2 Kg per square metre immediately after completion. Complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge based on approved job mix formula. Density as per specification 40 compacted thickness with bitumen grade PMB-40 @ 6.20% (Percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 10% ( percentage by weight of aggregate) Prepared in Batch type HOT MIX PLANT of 100 -120 TPH capacity.
