Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, for laying of pipe, cable etc or n. exc.10 Sqm on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up old unserviceable cast iron water mains (including all fittings), with spigot and socket ends and lead joints of 200 mm bore of pipe including burning out joints and recovering lead and depositing the lead in the MES Yard complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.)

Supply, Laying, jointing & testing of 200 mm bore Ductile Iron (DI), pressure pipes with spigot and socket ends, centrifugally cast, class K-9, ISI Marked, with cement mortar lining in inner side as per IS:8329/2000 (latest revision) and other relevant standards and metallic zinc coating followed by a finishing layer of epoxy paint on outer side, including EPDM rubber gasket (push on joint ), in any length, laid in trenches/ over masonry pillar and connection to old or new position complete all as specified and directed. (Note:- Excavation and earth work wherever required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.)

Supply & fix gun metal sluice valve, ISI Marked, 50 mm bore, flanged, Class PN-1.6 , having spindle made out of gun metal, operating wheel nuts, bolts, rubber gaskets etc with iron wheel head and making necessary arrangement to fix in position complete all as specified and directed.

Drilling (Horizontally) to existing road / harstanding suitable for passing DI / CI / GI pipes of dia upto 200 mm as required at site complete all as specified and directed. Note:- All necessary T&P required at site for drilling shall be arranged by contractor at his own cost and quoted rate shall be deemed to be included for all these provisions and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

M&L for construction of masonry valve pit of internal size 900 x 900x1200 mm with the following specification:- Brick work in CM (1:4) with sub class 'B' bricks, 15mm thick plastering in CM (1:4), PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 in foundation, chamber of internal size 900 x 900x1200 mm,150mm thick copping on top in PCC (1:3:6), type C-1, 3mm thick MS sheet for cover, angle iron 40mmx40mmx5mm for frame all around with suitable handle with locking arrangement including preparation of new surfaces of Mild Steel and application of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and shown on drawing.

M&L for construction of masonry valve pit internal size 600 x 600 x 900 mm with the following specification:- Brick work in CM (1:4) with sub class 'B' bricks, 15mm thick plastering in CM (1:4), PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation, chamber of internal size 600 x 600x900 mm,180/50/40 MM dia sluice valve thick copping on top in PCC (1:3:6), type C-1(using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate), 3mm thick MS sheet for cover, 3.0mm thick with MS angle iron 25mmx25mmx3mm for frame all around with suitable handle with locking arrangement including preparation of new surfaces of Mild Steel and application of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and shown on drawing.

M & L for CONSTRUCTION OF brick masonary valve pit of size 450 x 450x 450 mm (internal dimension) including excavation, earth work and disposal of soil to distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed by Engr in charge,PCC Work, including plastering internally and painting to wall externally as work proceeds including mild steel cover 3.15 mm thick and angle iron frame of suitable size, handle, locking arrengement including preparation of new surfaces of Mild Steel and application of two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specifed and as directed
