Repair to leaking joint of 15mm bore GI pipe line fixed on wall or laid in floor/ roof or in trenches including cutting chases/ excavation in any type of soil as required at site for working in workman like manner, opening the leaking joint by opening GI fitting or cutting the pipe, re-threading on site with ratchet die set, fixing GI pipe/ fittings, testing of repaired joint, returning and filling in to make good the disturbed surface to match with the existing one complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (a) GI pipe/ fittings required shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ as supply only. (b) Excavation earth works shall be measured and paid for separately. (c) Necessary PCC work shall be measured and paid for separately

M & L for seven stage cleaning and sterilization inside the existing RCC overhead / Semi underground tank of capacity and location mentioned here-in-after through bacteriological treatment by using TERBAC G5/Inchor-5/NB-10/ TERBAC-G-65/ Inoxi-60/NB-69 and ULTRA VIOLET RAY through specilized agency Make: Rays Cleantech / Inus Watertech / Satya Enterprise at any height (as per site requirement), including suitable staging/scaffolding complete all as specified and directed. Seven stages are as under follows:- (a) First stage is to drain out the water by using existing drain out valve or through high capacity dewatering pump. (b) Second stage is cleaning all the algae formation inside the tank by scrubing the walls of the tank and cleaning using TERBAC G10/ Inoxi-60/NB-69 (a laboratory tested branded chemical). (c) Third stage is scrubbing the walls and floor with mechanized scrubber & fresh water clening by high speed jet pump (rotary & flat) to remove all scaling, algae and other formed particles on internal surfaces of the tank completely. (d) Fourth stage and first bacteria screening is Sterilization by using TERBAC-G5/ Inohor-5/NB-10 a Laboratory certified branded halogen compound. Test certificate of chemical from government laboratory mentioning suitability for sterilization shall be submitted to the office before using for sterilization . (e) Fifth stage is cleaning the floor of the water tank by heavy duty industrial vacuum cleaner and sludge sucker having maximum 1200 W with suitable heavy duty rugged motor to free any foreign and loose particles of any nature. (f) Sixth stage is the second bacteria screening and sterilizing method by using ultraviolet ray by heavy duty UV radiation which shall have 360 degree of sterilization with in the tank to kill all suspended bacteria (The radiation shall portable and effective for sterilization of drinking water tanks for domination of floating and suspended bacteria). (g) Seventh stage of cleaning and third bacteria screening is to sterilize the floor, Roof and wall of the water tank by using laboratory certified branded strong oxidizing agent TERBAC-G65/Inoxi-60/NB-69 a non toxic bio-degradable eco-friendly anti-bacterial agent certified by a Govt. approved laboratory to disinfect the over head tank from all harmful pathogens. (h) Cleaning of external and internal surfaces, lid wall of the tank, structure for all scales and other particles any algae, hives and any type of vegetation or any other unwanted matters, scrapping of old paint and painting with two coats of cement based water proof apex paint complete all as directed. (j) Painting of angle iron ladder for OHT after scrapping of old paint by emery paper or any other means with two coat of enamelled black paint over a coat of red oxide primer including arrangement of scrap folding/ bamboo structure required for entire work.

(i) Semi underground reservoir of capacity 2.50 Lakh Gallons. Location : RCC Tank

(ii) Semi underground reservoir of capacity 0.60 Lakh Gallons. Location : Sports Ground Pump House

(iii) Semi underground reservoir of capacity 0.30 Lakh Gallons. Location : Sports Ground Pump House

(iv) Semi underground reservoir of capacity 0.20 Lakh Gallons. Location : Old GD Coy

(v) Semi underground reservoir of capacity 0.14 Lakh Gallons. Location : Old GD Coy

(vi) Overhead reservoir of capacity 1.00 Lakh Gallons. Location : JCO's/OR's Accn

(vii) Overhead reservoir of capacity 0.50 Lakh Gallons. Location : Trg Team, Batra Bn Office, Demo Coy Area, KV School

(viii) Overhead reservoir of capacity 0.10 Lakh Gallons. Location: GC Mess

Note: (aa) Company will submit government laboratory test certificate of Terbac-G5/Inchor-5/NB-10, Terbac-G65/ Inoxii-60/NB-69, before cleaning, fix the sticker mentioning CA No, date of cleaning & next due date and also provide certificate confirming the completion of sterilization of water tanks mentioning the name of station and date of cleaning. (bb) All the cleaning & sterilization staff shall be with all required safety equipments and shall be under accidental insurance coverage. (cc) Outlet pipe of reservoir shall be plugged before cleaning to avoid entering scales and the same shall be reconnected after cleaning and the quoted rate shall deemed to be included for same. (dd) Sterilization team shall be comprised of at least 30% members who are minimum 03 months certificate holder in water tanks sterilization. (ee) Contractor will not be allowed more than one day to do the work inside of the each OH Tank / UG Sump to prevent interruption of water supply to the users

M & L for repair to cracks inside wall, out side wall and floor of RCC over head reservoir at any height by making "V" groove of 10mm wide and 30mm deep or upto the extend of joint/crack present at site over joint/ crack line using electricity operated angle grinder with diamond concrete saw blade and cleaning by air blower, groove shall be cut on the concrete surface along the joint/crack over RCC structure to be repaired complete all as specified and directed. Note: Work to be executed by the authorized applicator of manufacturer only. Complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for repair to cracks inside wall, out side wall and floor of RCC over head reservoir at any height by examining concrete by tapping with light hammer and marking of the loose concrete areas of structural elements in straight line geometrical forms, grooving the edges same with grinder upto 5 -10 mm depth and drilling holes in honey comb portions for installing PVC nozzles of 12 mm dia.

M & L for sealing of exposed 'V' groove in overhead reservoir of 10mm wide and 30mm deep with Sikagard 694 F(l) or Quick Fix or equivalent solvent-free, moisture tolerant, thixotropic, two part structural adhesive and repair mortar cum surface leveling mortar complete all as specified and directed. Note: Work to be executed by the authorized applicator of manufacturers only.

M & L for drilling holes of 12mm dia up to 100 mm deep holes in structural members of overhead reservoir at the interval of 300 mm in staggered manner or along the joint & crack line in reinforced concrete structural element including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting 12mm dia NRV (Non Returnable Valve) nozzle compatible with epoxy injector and having machined external end to receive outlet of Grouting Gun and fix inside the hole by applying thixotropic epoxy adhesive SikaDur 31 IN Re Arm Instaplug / quick fix to ensure complete sealing and allow curing the system for minimum of 8 Hrs before grouting complete all as specified and directed. Note: Work to be executed by the authorized applicator of manufacturers only .

M & L for injection grouting of construction joints with non shrink cement slurry admixed with epoxy grouting Cebex 100 of M/s Fosroc Chemical / SikaGrout -214 IN through nozzle by high pressure injection pump till rejection of the material as recommended and cutting the extra length of nozzle after grouting and seal the nozzle with Sikagard 694 F(l) or equivalent thixotropic epoxy putty after the refusal of grout material from the nozzle complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Work shall be executed by the authorized applicator of manufacturers only. (b) Leakage through other nozzle or cracks are required to be monitored while grouting and such points to be sealed as and when required without any extra cost.

M & L for applying two coats of Make: SikaTopseal 107 or Aqua Arm Top Guard inside of the wall & floor of the over head reservoir a two components ready to use polymer modified cementatious coating by first Coat shall be applied horizontally and second coat shall be applied vertically with the thickness of coating not less than 1.5mm complete all as specified and directed. Note: Work to be executed by the authorized applicator of manufacturers only.

M & L for applying two coats of Make: Sikagard 67 or Aqua Arm Tank Coat a water based epoxy coating certified for portable water on all over the concrete surface from inside wall of overhead reservoir by applying the first coat by brush allow it to dry for 6-8 hrs and then apply second coat and allow it to cure for 24 hrs complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) The coating shall be applied using brush application. (b) The thickness after two coating should not be less than 400 microns complete. (c) Work shall be executed by the authorized applicator of manufacturers only.

M & L for spray painting to exposed surfaces of cast iron pipe line of overhead / semi underground reservoir of any size or height with two coats of synthetic enamel dust and weather proof paint of approved make (as per existing colour i.e. for inlet pipe- Blue colour, for outlet pipe - Green colour, for overflow pipe - Yellow colour, for drain out pipe - Black colour) including preparation of old surfaces of pipes, by scrapping or complete removal of rusting to the pipes, filling cavities with filler, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting of outer walls of overhead reservoir of any height or capacity with one coat of weather proof exterior acrylic emulsion paint with silicon additives including prepartion of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Cost of providing and fixing double scaffolding system on the exterior side of ovrhead reservoir upto required height shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.
