Routine Annual Repair/ Servicing of HT panel having VCB/ OCB/ Transformer Bus Bar Unit of 11 KV rating of capacity 26.2 KA and current rating of upto 800 Amp, by adjustment of gaps for smooth functioning, and works as detailed below:- (a) Cleaning of VCB/ OCB and removing dust particles complete all as specified. (b) Checking the arcing gap contact of the VCBs/ OCBs if gap exceeds the permissible limits, readjust, complete all as specified. (c) Cleaning of male & female contacts by using CTC/CRC/Thinner as required all as specified. (d) Adjust the relays of earth fault current / over current/short circuit current levels as per recommendation of manufaccture guidelines all as specified. (e) Dismantling and cleaning the insulated surface CTC and CRC complete all as specified. (f) Checking/ Repair of any electrical wiring for electrical /manual operation of panel including measuring IR values. (g) Checking of nuts and bolt, springs, levers, latches, connectors etc and adjustment as required complete all as specified. (h) Recording IR values of CT's and PT's. (j) Checking of all moving parts for proper functioning of VCBs/ OCBs and adjustment as per manufacture recommendations Note :- Service shall be carried through service Engineer of Manufacturer/ Authorised Service Agency only

Overhauling of HT panel having VCBs/ OCBs 11 KV rating of capacity 26.2 KA and current rating of upto 800 Amp, by replacing defective/ wornout parts, and all works as in for routine service mentioned above Note :- (i) Service shall be carried through service Engineer of Manufacturer/ Authorised Service Agency only (ii) The VCB/ OCB shall be provided with an all inclusive warranty of 1 year from the conclusion of the contract. If the VCB/ OCB becomes faulty during this time and is not rectified again by the contractor within 96 hours of becoming faulty, the cost of the Repair/ Overhauling, including all parts used, shall not be paid to the contractor and any such costs already paid in RAR shall be deducted in Final RAR/ Final Bill. This shall be assumed as an AMC towards the HT panel having VCB/ OCB

Taking out old tripping relay from VCBs and replacing with new relay of suitable capacity (to suit 800 Amps HT Panel) and tripping timing, complete all as specified, directed and clarified by engineer in charge.

Replacement of IDMT relay as per existing rating (to suit 800 Amps HT Panel) of make Alstom/Avrevaor ABB or siemens to the existing panels and programming the relays for overload and earth fault setting with respect to trip setting of HT panels installed at 11 KV sub station in such a way that fault are arrested locally complete all as specified and as directed.

Replacement of HRC fuse of rating 2 to 6 Amp of any type to suit existing system all as specified.

Replacement of triping coil with plunger with working voltage 110 volts DC suitable for existing panel complete all as specified.

Repair of HT Current Transformer/ Potential Transformer, by replacement of unserviceable components (copper winding to be measured seperately), duly caliberating, and connecting with HT Panel at site, complete, all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Replacement of burnt/ unserviceable defective copper coil CT/PT (any type) with new one made out of suitable size/guage of copper super enameled wire of high quality matching with the existing impendence and insulated all as specified and directed by engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (a) The cost of coil shall be inclusive of cost of varnish, insulating paper and other insulating materials and no extra payment will be made for the same. (b) The cost is inclusive of disconnecting of all electrical connections and transportation of transformer from site to reputed repair workshop and back including reinstalling & reconnecting electrical connection and no extra payment will be made for the same. (c) The quantity may be increased as required for ibid repair, without additional aggreement of contractor required.

Supply Only of true vertical position steel tubular poles 11 mtr long complete with MS Base plate, MS pole cap, bolts nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-55 complete al as specified and directed. Note :The poles are to be prepainted with one layer of red oxide, and black bituminious coat at the bottom 3 meters and remaining portion 2 coats of aluminium paints) complete, all as specified and directed by engineer in charge

Supply only of Duct Tape (for seaming, sealing, patching and repairing works in electrical cable/ plumbing lines), 2 inches (50 mm) wide and 60 yards (54.8 meters) long, made of gauze textile fiber, with a hot-melt adhesive coating, silver color, PN-20 strength, of make of 3M/ Amazonbasics or equivalent, all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing HT disc type porcelain vitrous white, brown or green insulator size 145 mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type for two in series assembly with tension clamp or conductor for working pressure for 11000 Volts fixed as in repair complete all as specified and directed.

Supply Only of MS cross arms including set of bracings, support, clamps, bolts, washers, nuts and back plate fabricated from structural steel sections, in any shape or size as indicated or directed.

Supply Only of 50 kg Bags of Cement (for Coping), Ordinary, Portland, as specified and directed by engineer in charge, of any make approved by E-in-C's Branch/ Northern Command Chief Engineer's Officer all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, commissioning and testing switch air break, gang operated with 12 insulator switch tripple pole mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame with mechanism worked from ground level for current rating 400 Amp operating voltage 11 KV outdoor type vertical mounted type complete with locking arrangment, asembly with fuse mount carrier and fuse element of required capacity and isolate suitable for 11 KV including necessary electric connection and 11 KV Fuse (drop out type) of capacity 10 Amps. complete with DO fuses with one number operating rod of 25 mm dia bore grade GI pipe of suitable length worked out from ground level and handle complete with lock and two Nos keys including flat iron clamp 50mmx6mm, MS channel of suitable size & length for fixing GOD including nut bolt washers including taking down existing set all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour in replacement of new Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) conductor (any type as directed by engineer in charge) on HT/ LT over head line (including dismantling any old conductor and deposition with MES) including binding with insulator by aluminium binding wire or aluminium trap and stretching the conductor, complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Supply only new Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced conductor (any type as directed by engineer in charge) all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Material and labour in replacement for installing stay assembly (including dismantling old stay assembly and deposition with MES), complete comprising of 7/3.15 galvanised stranded stay wire of required length fixed to pole including GI clamps 50x 6 mm size bolt, nuts washers, GI steel stay rod 20mm dia and 1800 mm long stay bow 400x 14mm, GI steel plate 300x300x6mm, two nos thimble loop insulator of size 90x140mm clearance hole 16mm including two coats of aluminium paint over a one coat of red oxide primer on exposed mild steel work as shown in elctrical plate No.1 of SSR part- 2009 on page No 495 including the following :- (i) Excavation in post holes in any type of soil, returning filling & wll ramming including disposal soil to distance not exc. 50 mtrs from starting point. (ii) PCC 1:3:6, type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregated as in foundation.

M & L for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx 6.3mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to galvanised iron strip 25x4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel including PCC (concrete chamber) shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate,with fair finish internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4,funnel with wire gauge of (0.68) 8 mesh per liner inch,80mm thick RCC pit cover 320 mmx320 mm of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with XPM,JALLI and charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of MES SSR Part-1 and specified including provision of earth wire protected by 40 mm dia medium grade GI pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium graded GI pipe,and including all excavation and earth work & connecting the earthing to an earthing test point /transformer neutral/body/LT panel etc.and testing on completeion complete all as spec ified and directed. NOTE: The quoted rate of earthing shall be deemed to included cost of 7.5m long galvanised earth strip 25x4 mm and protection pipe of 40 mm bore medium graded ,GI light graded 20mm bore watering pipe

Supply and fixing of steel tubular swaged poles erected truly vertical or planted as strut complete with 300x300x6 mm thick mild steel base plate, welded to pole, B-118 final, taper cap,bolts,nuts & screws,poles made out of ERW MS tubing conforming to IS-2713 Part-11 type 410 SP-55 (11.0 metres long) including drilling of holes of reqd size foe fixing of cross arm, painting the exposed surfaces of pole with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and with black & bitumenous paint externally for portition embedded in concrete, making five black & red bands at lower portition of pole each 300 mm wide alternately,and making pole NO.with black paint at suitable height complete all specified and directed.

Tightening/ restringing existing loose/ broken conductor ACSR conductor of any type or size including necessary consumables such as binding wire, bolts, nuts and jointing jumpers, etc fixing of spacers (spacers provided by MES), complete, including tightening/ fixing properly the associated cross arms, all as specified and directed by engineer in charge. Note :(i) Atleast 20 spans are to be stretched/ restringed within a span of 6 hours during shut down provided, whenever more than 20 spans are to be stretched/ restringed in one particular line (When less than 20 spans are to be stretched/ restringed, then all the spans are to be stretched/ restringed within 6 hours). Contractor has to bring appropriate labour strength to achieve this. If any lesser quantities of spans are stretched/ restringed, a fine of Rs.150 on every less span painted will be charged from contractor. (ii) Each span consists of the three/ four conductors between two poles, incuding their ends.

Dismantling of existing HT poles any size/ type from foundation in necessary earth work including dismantling of concrete MS clams nuts, bolts earth wire, overhead conductors, insulators, guarding cradles and other accessories complete, including moving the pole to a distance of upto 50 meters/ Loading onto a MES truck, as specified and directed by engineer in charge

Job of erection of steel tubular poles provided by MES complete including the following : - (a) Excavation (of 2 meters deep and 60 cm radius) in post holes in any type of soil, returning, filing well ramming and disposal of surplus soil to distance not exc 50 mtr from the starting point (b) PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm grade stone aggregate (of thickness of 20 cm and throughout the excavated hole as above) as in foundation including form work complete (c) PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate (of depth of 1.84 meters and throughout the depth) as in base (d) PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm grade stone aggregate (of cyndrical shape of height of 60 cm and radius of 60 cm) as in coping including form work complete Note : All the above are to be as specified, directed and clarified by Engineer in Charge.

Trimming of trees/ branches from HT/ LT pole and OH conductors, clearing 2.5 mtr horizontal and 7.2 mtr verticle distance (3 meters below conductors and 4.2 meters above conductor) from both side of conductor including shifting of cut trees from site all as directed Note : Each span consists of the length between two poles, including their ends.

Material and labour for danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitrous enamelled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red color, Voltage depiction in Red Colour and fixed with GI clams, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 25 x 20 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of HT jumper of existing two/four pole structure of transformer etc including using winding of ACSR conductor (Weasel) 11 KV, including PG Clamp nut, bolts, thimbles and washers etc as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing (on Steel Tubular Poles/ other structures) aerial bunched (AB) cable ISI marked HT 11000 V Grade, of size 3 core x 95 sq mm with three power cores sections stranded compacted circular aluminimum conductor screened with natural coloured XLPE insulation screened with black extured semi conductor compound and one layer of copper tape and covered with black exturuded PVC (core indentification by colour type marking red, yellow and blue with colour tape placed longitudinally under the copper type) and one bare messenger GI wire of 70 sq mm shall be stranded non compected circular alu alloy conductor all as specified, directed and clarified by Engineer in Charge. Note - The following hareware fitting and accessories shall be used to install erect and join the AB cable. (i) Suspension clamp with eye hook. (ii) suspension fittings and corresponding eye hook. (iii) Dead eye fittings. (iv) Nylon Cable Ties (v) All Necessary Connectors (vi) End and mid cable connectors/ jointing kits

Supply Only Long Tubular Type lead acid battery 12 volt 150 AH with suitable 'C' Rating for use in VCB/ OCBs (or other equipment such as DG Set, etc), with minimum warranty of 36 months (total warranty period), all as specified and defined by Engineer in Charge. Make: Exide / Amron/ Luminous

Supply only distilled water, for battery top up, in one/ five litre packaging, complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge.

Supply and installation of Smart Battery Charger, with dual battery charging feature and DC and AV input features, 150 to 290V AC input, 12V 12 Ampere DC output, with trickle charging and battery repair features, reverse polarity, overcurrent and over voltage safeguards, digital multicolour LCD display, with necessary adapters including crodile pin adapters, all as specified, directed, clarified and approved by engineer in charge. Note : This item may be increased in quantity upto 6 Nos without further concurrence of the contractor

Supply & filling transformer oil in any equipment in situ/at site for toping up the level of oil having dielectric strength of minimum of 60 KV during filling after initial filtration confirming to IS-335 all as directed at site by Engr-in Charge. Transformer oil shall be supplied in sealed container (container becomes property of MES after draining the oil). The Transformer Oil may be taken as Supply Only also by MES, if desired

Excavation in trenches n. exc.1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation laying of pole stay assembly and laying of LT/HT cable and getting out in soft/loose of soil complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Returining filling in including spreading ,levelling,watering and wall ramming in layers not exc 25cm in soft/loose of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for kiln burnt Sub class 'B' bricks laid dry , flat , width wise along the length of cable in trenches after sand cushioning for protection of under ground cable complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for dry coarse sand as cushioning to cable 8 cm before laying HT/LT cable in trenches and 15 cm after laying the cable and compacting, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded aggregates) in sub- base and foundation filling for poles as mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cement Concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates for foundation filling of stays or poles as mass concrete complete with necessary form work required complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Cement Concrete (1:2:4) type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in pole coping and stay assembly complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Anti-climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of M.S. bars (round, square and flat) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying & testing of HT Cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables(heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts, grade cross setional area 95 sq mm, 3 core ISI marked all as directed.

Supply, laying & testing of HT Cable XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables(heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts, grade cross setional area 120 sq mm, 3 core ISI marked all as directed.

Supply, laying & testing of cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE/ABC armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying & testing of cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE/ABC armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 sqmm to 185 sqmm ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only 11/33 KV Discharge rod complete with Main Discharge clamp of made of coper (with adjustable spring) and earthing lead of made PVC insulated flexible copper conductor,having screw type arrangment for fixing tightly one conductor (ACSR) of any size with bolt nut and saddle for earthwire.The operating rod fixed with clamps shall be made of epoxy resin based highly insulated fibre glass tube 32mm of size as per recommendations by OEM with proper coupling arrangement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Painting to HT poles,11 mtr with cross arms ,bracing and clamps with one coat of synthetic enameled paint over one coat of red oxide primer including scrapping the old paint carefully to make smooth complete and painting strips of yellow and black from foot of pole upto 5 feet each strip of 30 cm height complete all as specified a directed.

Supply and laying/fixing GI tubing light grade ISI marked for cable protection of size 50 mm dia all as specified and directed.
