REPAIRS TO CERTAIN INTERNAL ROADS AT AREA

M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or gradin 3 (50 to 20mm size spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Repar to potholes any depth, not exc 1sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing surfaces of unsurfaced water bound macadam surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer using 10 kg/ 10 sqm using paving bitumen over WBM surfaces all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying premix bituminous, macadam laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 Tonne power roller (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 4% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) For design purpose min. binder content is specified as 4% for VG-30 grade bitumen and it shall not be brought down under any circumstances. During design stage if binder content exceeds 4% no extra payment shall be made to contractor for excess use of binder. (ii) Levels to be taken (jointly by contractor and AGE) before and after laying of bituminous macadam.

M&L for preparing black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bag to remove loose dirts etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m using paving bitumen VG 30 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 penetration by weight of total mix laid using mechanical paver, rolled and compacted by using power vibrator roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note: For design purpose min. binder content is specified as 5.5% for VG-30 grade bitumen and it shall not reduce under any circumstances. During design stage if binder content exceeds 5.5% no extra payment shall be made to contractor for excess use of binder.

M&L for 2.5 mm thick, 100 mm wide, road markings paint as in centre line, stop line, dashes, arrows, brackets and similar work on road surfaces as per IRC pattern with thermo plastic paint of approved quality and make with 8% glass beads laid at temperature 160 Degree celsius with a special applicator machine complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and traffic diversion arrangement.

Surface dressing in hard dense soil not exc 15 cm deep and getting out all as specified and as directed.

M&L for moorum, 75mm consolidated thick, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber complete as in berms all as specified and as directed.

S&F road studs (cat eye) two way reflective of size 100x100x25 mm (min size) and max size according to manufacturer made with ABS material, scratch and abrasion resistant, micro plastic, temperature resistant body complete all as specified and as directed.
