M & L for roughening / taking down existing roof treatment surfaces including plaster over old concrete roof by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note : All demolished item shall be removed from Defence land as per dirns of Engr-in Charge.

M & L for brushing neat cement slurry with 3 Kg of cement per Sqm for bonding of old concrete surface to new concrete/plaster surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cutting out cracks to 6 mm wide 'V' section in existing roofs or terrace (if cracks > 2.5 mm wide), cleaning out, wetting, grouting with and including chemical compound, water and cement Sand slurry in the proportion of (1:3) by weight mix or as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed. Note : All demolished item shall be removed from Defence land as per direction of Engr-in Charge.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) mixed with Liquid waterproofing chemical @ 200 millilitre per 50 Kg per cement, as in padding on roof surface for correcting / making proper slope on roof, and finishing the surfaces fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for 10 mm thick rendering in CM (1:3) mixed with Liquid water proofing chemical compound @ 200 mililitre per 50 Kg cement as per manufacturers instructions over concrete surface and finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with integral water proofing compound while concrete surface is green and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for complete water proofing treatment on "Non approachable / non accessible roof" surface (Horizontal & Vertical surfaces) in following sequence through authorized applicator of the manufacturer all as specified and directed complete. (i) Cleaning of new rendered surfaces properly and drying the surfaces. (ii) Applying a coat of oxidised bitumen based solvent primer @ 0.30 Kg / Sqm (iii) Laying 3 mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane with 100 mm over laps sealed and bounded to the surfaces by 'torchon' method. (iv) Applying two coats of bitiminous aluminium paint @ 200 Gram / Sq M (minimum) in two coats complete as per manufacturers instruction. Note:- Waterproofing treatment shall be executed by a qualified team provided by the manufacturer or their authorised applicator.

M&L for complete water proofing treatment to sunken floor surfaces of RCC slab by the following specifications including demolition/taking down and cleaning of old surface as specified and directed :- (a) Plain cement concrete 1:5:10 mix, type E-2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) as in filling of sunken portion complete all as specified and directed. (a) PCC (1:1.5:3) type A0 with using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate in slope of average thickness 50mm mixed with and including liquid water proofing compound as approved by GE. (b) Rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:3 mixed with & including water proofing compound on sides of (Vertical surface) sunken floor slab. (c) Finally Apply two coats of black bituminous paint on complete surfaces of floor & wall and provide necessary connections to soil/waste pipe from WC/ nahani trap etc. (d) Spray of sand on bituminious surfaces. Note:- Waterproofing treatment shall be executed by a qualified team provided by the manufacturer or their authorised applicator.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B 0) using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate mixing with WPC as in levelling course and in sunken portions etc incl demolition of old PCC complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for complete reparing of RCC roof projection, chajjas,roofs, facia, column etc by necessary preparation i.e scrapping ,cutting,chiseling,derusting and cleaning exposed reinforecement, surfaces of damaged, loose RCC surfaces and applying one coat of rust remover by brushing to rusted reinforecemnt to remove loose rust particles and allow to dry it for 2 to 3 Hrs , insert the new reinforcement to damaged portion by drillig hole at required distance , fill the epoxy in to the hole by 2/3 of the hole and insert the reinforcement in the hole, and binding the reinforcement at rusted portion of reinforcement, apply cement slurry on entire damaged area , and plaster the surfaces with cement , sand and Polymer liquid in 1: 3 : 15% of cement by weight ) and water as required , mixing properly and plaster the surface , finished even and smooth by making the edge water dropping groves complete all as specified and directed. Note : The work shall be carried out on building upto 8.00 m height. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of all necessary scaffolding and safety devices as required. No additional payment shall be admissible.

M&L (in repairs) for preparation of surface for application of water based epoxy resin coating of waterproofing for internal wall dampness and filling of cracks over & including CM (1:4) and making the surface smooth and finish complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Complete removal of treatment/plaster(where needed) on internal walls and preparation of surface after rendering with CM(1:4) for application and making the surface wet .(b) apply first coat of Dr. fixit Dampguard in ratio (1U base:1U hardner:1U water) in one direction and leaving the coat to dry for 6 to 8 hrs.(c) apply second coat of Dr. fixit dampguard in ratio(1U base:1U hardner:1U water) in perpendicular direction to the first coat applied and leaving the surface to dry for 24 hrs. Material: Dr. fixit Dampguard or the makes/brand/manufacturers as specified in Appendix 'A' of the Particular Specification.

S&F in repairs mild steel work (Tubular, square/rectangular hollow section) as in purline, rafter and wind ties, cleat roof trusses etc including securing bed plate, plat iron fillets for securing wire mesh etc including all necessary drilling bolting or riverting, etc, and similar work conforming to IS 1161-1979 dge St-240 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel & iron surfaces of any description, not otherwise, described, over 10cm width or girth and apply two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 0.50mm thick (total coated thickness) pre-colour, pre profiles Galvalume /zincalume sheets of required colour and design having tensile strength of 550 Mpa, zinc colour coating AZ-150 as in roof ,wall cladding,north light curves,fixed with zinc coated self drilling fastener including EDPM washer complete laid with one corrugation side laps and min 150mm end laps laid to slope all as per manufacturer/profile maker instructions including dismantling old Plain or corrugated steel sheeting,any gauge, thickness, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The pre-painted galvalume zinc GI based profile pattern steel should be TATA Blue scope colour brand XRW or the makes/brand/manufacturers as specified in Appendix 'A' of the Particular Specification.

Cutting channels, grooves or rebates n exc 15cm girth, and trimming surface with or without reinforcement for inserting galvalume sheet on wall and necessary coping work over the sheet along the wall complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM ( 1:4 ) on wall/ concrete surfaces finish even and smooth without using extra cement using WPC compound complete including taking down old plaster complete all as specified and directed. Note: WPC shall be measured and paid separetly.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of wall including brooming, washing, roubbing scraping down. Smoke spot, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, grasy spots and stopping nails marks and applying one coat of oil emulsion distemper complete all as specified and directed.
