Improvement /Upgradation of Handwara Town Roads

Engagaement of JCB by Excavation of ditches in a regular manner by way of employement of JCB including Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1 km.

Providing and laying spreading compacting graded stone aggregate to wet macadam specification including preparing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixing plant laying in uniform layers with paver in base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibrator roller to achieve to required grade and camber including carriage of material involved to site of work complete crusher got from broken quarry metal grading 45mm to 22.4mm +30%22.40mm to 2.36 mm 40%2.36 to 75mm complete

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of VG-10 grade incl. heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler/ Emulsion on new surface , cleaning & preparing the existing road surface to remove all dirt, dust, mud etc. & finally brooming the surface as per required specification complete job On Bitumen surface @ 0.50kg/sqm

Providing and laying of 50mm Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 50 to 100 mm average compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-10 @5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Batch Type Hot MixPlant of 100-120 TPH capacity. 50 to 100 mm average

Providing and laying of 50 mm thick BM with bitumen of VG-10 grade @3.5% and filler (lime) 34% by weight of total mix on prepared surfaces with specified grade stone aggregate. Hot mixing of bitumen with filler and stone aggregate. In hot mix plant transporting the mixed material with paver finisher and rolling with road roller as per IRC/ MOST/MORTH specification to achieve the desired density and compaction including cost and carriage involved from source to site of work completed including cost and carriage of bitumen complete (Profiling of road level/Patches/Stretches)
