Servicing, repairing & maintenance of electrically operated overhead travelling cranes (EOT)/Hand operated traverse (HOT) double girder type of comprising of electric motor for long travel, cross travel hoist motion, creeping micro speed etc. consisting of electrical control panel, MCCBs / main switches, step down transformer, contactors, HRC fuses and mechanical wire rope with drum, brake unit, gear boxes, oil levels, motor bed end carriage lathe works, electrical control cables etc. complete for smooth operation of crane by skilled service engineer/mechanic with frequency of 30 (Thirty) days in a month all as specified and as directed for the following capacities:-

10 Ton FLP EOT cranes (total 17 No's.) installed at building No's. L1-02 No's. L2-02 Nos, L7-01 No. L11-01 No, B1 to B6(one No crane in each bldg) at Vajrakosh area , 01 No crane in Material organization bldg & 04 cranes in NSRY area (outfitting dept, FAB dept. MEWR(E) & MEWR(L&W) at Naval Base Karwar.

6 Ton FLP EOT crane (total 08 No's.) installed at IGLOO-II, IGLOO-IV, DBM-store buildings at NAD and PMS, Technical store, Prep-I, Prep-II, SSM store buildings at Vajrakosh.

5 Ton FLP EOT crane (total 19 Nos) installed at buildings L3 -02 No's. L4 -2 Nos, L5 -2 Nos, L6 -2 No's. L8 -3 Nos , L10 -01 No at Vajrakosh area , DBM -3,4,5 & 6 in NAD area & YAS , MEWR & Shiplift Main pump house bldg in NSRY area.

5 Ton Hand operated crane (total 04 Nos) installed at Fuel storage-I & Fuel storage-II buildings at Vajrakosh area & MEWR (GE store) & FAB (Rigger section) buildings in NSRY area

3 Ton Hand operated crane (total 02 Nos) installed at HTL AC & HTL Non AC store buildings at NAD area.

2 Ton FLP EOT crane (total 05 No) installed at L1 building at Vajrakosh area & 04 cranes in NSRY area ( MEWR-weapons, MEWR-chemical plant, MEWR-motor overhauling sec & Yard utility bldg)

2 Ton HOT crane (total 04 No) installed at NSRY area ( MEWR, MEWR-General Engine, MEWR-R & AC & MEWR-TTS store)

1 Ton Hand operated crane (total 02 No) installed at Warhead Joint Booster building at Vajrakosh area. & MEWR-motor overhauling sec in NSRY area.

250 kg mono rail (total 01 No) installed at L9 building at Vajrakosh area. Note for item No 1 & 1.1 to 1.9 :- (a) The rate quoted is deemed to be included for any consumable required. (b) Spares if any to be supplied will be measured and paid seperately under respective items of Schedule. (c) The servicing of crane shall be done to the entire satisfaction of rep of user and Engineer-in-Charge and the completion report in prescribed format of same shall be submitted duly signed by user.

Labour for attending emergency breakdown (in periods other than periods for routine fortnightly servicing /monthly servicing/quarterly servicing/ repair/maintenance of cranes as catered vide item No 1 herein above) by skilled service engineer and make the crane functional within three days of reporting of defect by Engineer in charge including changing defective parts of EOT/HOT crane installed at Vajrakosh ,NAD complex (Site E), NSRY area and MO complex (Site A) complete all as specified and directed. (i) M&L for periodical maintenance like oiling, greasing etc as per recommendation of manufacture and as per direction of Engineer in Charge. (ii) All spares to be replaced by the contractor shall be as per specified make or as recommended by manufacturer. (iii) All spares to be supplied and replaced shall be measured and paid seperately under respective items of this Schedule. (iv) Technician /Mechanic shall have requisite qualification with 02 years experience from recognised ITI/ NCIVT or equivalent in the trade of electrical /Mechanical. (v) Servicing /repair of cranes must be carried out by qualified tradesmen/ technician with minimum 5 yrs experience in repair/ servicing of cranes.

(vi) Contractor shall furnish service report on satisfactory completion of service/maintenance of all cranes duly signed by respective unit in-charge after every visit and same shall be submitted to the Engineer- in- charge for verification.

M& L for conducting load testing of the cranes with standard weights varying upto 1.25 times more than load capacity of the crane as recommended by factory inspector and submitting the report in prescribed format all as specified and as directed for the following capacities :-

Note for item No 3.1 to 3.9 :- (i) Standard load required for testing of cranes at site of testing shall be arranged by contractor at his own arrangement. (ii) Load testing shall be carried out in presence of factory inspector and load test certificate of each crane on approved format as per factory rules duly signed by factory inspector shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge. The quoted rate shall be deemed to include this provision and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (iii) After load testing, contractor shall write on approved format of each crane ie. crane capacity, date of testing, next due date of testing and maximum load capacity

Supply & fix in repairs power contactor of 9 to 40 amps with AC coil voltage 110 volts all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour required for alignment of EOT crane of capacity 5 Ton complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fix in repair crane roof LED light fittings of 90 watts capacity complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fix in repairs thermal overload relays suitable for motors of capacity ranging from 3 to 10.00 KW with AC coil voltage 110 volts all as specified and as directed.

Supply & fix in repairs contact type limit switches plunger type actuators such as 1NO+1NC all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour required for repairs of cable trolley big size of 6 Ton capacity crane complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only gear oil of grade 140 for topping up all as specified and as directed.

M & L for strip opening of 10 HP 3 phase 415V electric motor of any make, cleaning thoroughly internal parts, replacing unserviceable minor parts like nut bolt, bearing, greasing, and rewinding with same size and class copper winding wire including reinsulating with shellac varnish, keeping in hot air oven for drying etc , reassembling, testing completely for continuity and insulation resistance including electrically disconnecting, dismantling, lowering, transportation to work shop, re-installation etc all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for electrical disconnecting, dismantling of motor,transportation to workshop,repairing & re-installation in position. (ii)Replacement of bush and bearing will be measured and paid under respective item of schedule.

M&L for dismantling, removing, taking down the gear box assembly of main hoist for cranes capacity 10 ton and then overhauling the Gear box including replacement of worn gear wheel unit complete with new one matching to the existing systems, replacement of defective bearings,oil seal,gear coupling etc. and then assembling, fixing back to the system aligning, Load testing and commencing all as specified and as directed. Note:- Replacement of bush and bearing will be measured and paid seperately under respective item of schedule
