Note :- Contractors are advised to as certain the place suitable/earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractor and no representation or objection in this regard shall be entertained by the deptt at any later stage.

Attending day to day complaints of different type of sewage work such as removing blockage of WCs, floor traps, Nahani traps, Gully traps, CI/PVC pipes all types any size, any height top to bottom including junction etc, complete all as specified & directed.

Cleaning of blockage from nahani traps of bathroom/kitchen/Urinal/toilet in ground floor and upper floors all types any size, any height by taking out mud/sand incl taking out lid and re-fixing the same, complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of blockage from Gully trap to 1st manholes in ground floors, all types any size, any location by taking out mud/sand incl taking out lid and re-fixing the same, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 19 to 20 :-The unit quoted rate is deemed to be included for the following :-

(a) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be made good carefully by filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.

(b) Safaiwala shall report to concerned JE /AGE in service centre of B&R daily including Sunday and holiday and get the job card for carrying out the work. The Job card shall be returned to concerned JE/AGE duly signed by the users as a token of completion of job.

(c) Cleaning, removal of silts/wastage of organic or inorganic materials of Sewage line of 100mm to 450mm bore up to 1st manhole, in between manholes, GT Chamber, etc to maintain sewage system functional on all working days including Sundays and holidays along with necessary T&P i.e flexible rods, cleaning pumps and safety kits etc.

(d) The complaints to be rectified within SIX hours on same day. In case of delay in rectification of complaint for more than Six hours, the penalty will be levied @ Rs.100.00 Per complaint/ day.

(e) In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC.

Note : The rate included for cutting out broken tiles, removing and cleaning loose tiles, preparing bed removing rubbish, removing and repairing old with new tiles to match, complete with all cuttings etc, that may be required. New tiles required is deemed to be included all as directed. The unit rate is also including necessary beding in cement mortor/Sand filling, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new/old any type of surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of floor guard paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of wall, ceiling etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- An amount of Rs 55090.00 on account of credit schedule for schedule 'A' part II shall be deducted from the total amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum.
