Upgradation of link road from Farka bridge to Grief canteen at Spituk

Preparation of sub grade by excavating earth to an average of 22.5cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidation with road roller including making good undulation etc, and disposal of surplus earth upto 50 mtrs.

Construction of granular sub base by providing close graded material conforming to specification mixing at plant mechanical and transport by mechanical means for all leads and lifts spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness by paver machine on prepared surface in compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density complete as per specification and direction of engineer in charge with materials conforming to Grade 1 ( size 75mm to 0.075mm CBR value 30.

Providing, laying , spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53mm to 0.075mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plants, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site , for all leads and lifts ,laying in uniform layer with mechanical paver finisher in sub base 1 base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density complete as per specification and direction of engineer in charge.

Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion (Rapid Setting) complying with IS 8887-1995. spraying the bitumen emulsion with mechanically operated spray unit, cleaning and prepariRg the existing road surface as On W.B.M. @ 0.4 Kg/sqm.

2.5 cm premix carpet surfacing with 2.25cum and 1.12 cum of stone chipping of 13.2mm and 11.2 size respectively per sqm and 52kg and 56 kg of hot bitumen per cum of stone chippings of 13.2mm and 11.2mm size respectively including a tack coat with hot straight run bitumen including consolidation with road roller of 6 to 9 tonne capacity etc complete (tack coat to be paid for separately) with paving asphalt 80/100 heated and then mixed with solvent @ 70gms per kg of asphalt .

Providing and laying seal coat of pre mixed fine aggregates ( passing 2.36mm and retained on 180 micron sieve )with bitumen using 128 kg of bitumen of grade 80/100 bitumen per cum of fine aggregate and 0.60 cum of fine aggregate per 100 sqm of road surface including rolling and finishing with road all complete.
