Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 'Silent type' (accoustic enclosure type) Diesel Engine driven generating set of capacity 200 KVA , 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 0.8 power factor and 1500 RPM at NTP electrical start, directly coupled and mounted on common base frame with coupling of suitable size to water cooled diesel Engine of suitable BHP as per IS:10001/ 10002 and Alternator as per IS: 13364 complete with foundation, AVM pads, control panel, fuel tank of suitable capacity with fuel lines of heavy duty MS pipe duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and suitable battery of capacity 12 volt, 180 AH - 02 No size fixed on angle iron frame with necessary meters and sound proof canopy as per CPCB - II norms and separate battery charging system of suitable capacity with all accessories, tool box and tools / spares as provided by the manufacturer including the following: -

(A) Prime Mover: Vertical diesel engine of suitable capacity water cooled (Radiator mounted close circuit as per BS 649 or IS 10002 direct injection type). The DG set shall be capable of running 24 hrs on full load. Engine shall be equipped with all standard fittings as per manufactors recommendation and mounted on common base frame with following; - (a) RPM cum Hour meter. (b) Battery charging alternator with inbuilt regulator. (c) Ignition and starting keys with push button switch. (d) Lubricating oil pressure gauge, oil and water temperature gauges. (e) Suitable battery as recommended by manufacturer/ OEM with battery leads of suitable size of copper cable. (f) Self starter motor of suitable capacity. (g) PCC foundation for generating set as per recommendation of Manufacturer. (h) Exhaust pipe as per manufacturer recommendation. (j) Exhaust selincer industrial type to maintain noise level. (k) maintenance manual and part catalogue. (B) Alternator: Alternator of rating 200 KVA, 3 phase 50 cycle, 415 volts, 4 wire AC supply 0.8 PF at NTP for running at 1500 RPM, copper winding with class 'H' insulation, self exited, self regulated, screen protected, brushless mounted on common base frame coupled with above engine. The alternator shall be conforming to BS 2613/IS-13364.

(F) PCC Platform: All as per design / Drg recommended by manufacturer using PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (20 mm graded stone aggregate) fixed with antivibration pads, nuts, bolts and necessary excavation, earth work in any type of soil as required at site. Gurantee: The contractor shall submit test certificate & guarantee for three years from manufacturer for any manufacturing defects/service maintenance commence from the date of completion of work. Notes:- (i) Contractor shall bear all cost for testing of DG set including providing all T&P, transport etc. (ii) 12 hrs testing to be carried out by IEM while commissioning of DG sets and contractor will intimate the same to department and POL for testing will be provided by contractor for 12 hrs testing. (iii) If the testing will failed then contractor will bear all the expenditure. (iv) Latest/Revised BS and IS code shall be applicable for DG Set.

Disconnecting,dismantling the DG Sets of capacity 200KVA with AMF panel from existing foundation and deposit to MES store yard (with in 5 KM) after installation,tesing and commissioning of new DG Sets complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

M&L for earthing complete with Galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5m below normal GL connected to GI earthing strip of size 32 x 6mm flat by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of Galvanized iron or steel, CI funnel and wire mesh, GI watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade for watering, GI protection pipe light grade 40mm dia, earthing lead upto 7.5m connected to earthing test point complete all as specified in preambles of SSR Part-II and as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and testing on completion. Note: The unit rate shall be deemed to include for excavation & earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, MS angle iron frame 40x40x6mm, RCC 1:2:4, Type B-1 cover 40mm thick reinforced with 8mm dia CTD bars @ 75mm c/c both ways, MS handle 12mm dia.

Supplying, Laying and testing in replacement of XLPE LT Cable of size 400 Sqmm, 3.5 core, 1100 Volt grade heavy duty with XLPE insulated, stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathening of PVC tape armoured with Galvanized steel strip and over all PVC Sheathed stranded conductor conforming to IS- 7098 (Part-I) with latest amendments laid in trenches/fixed to wall/pole/laid in floor including necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, brick protection, cutting of road and pipe shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of this BOQ)

Excavaton in trenches for laying of cable , for pole & stay n.exc.1.5mtr wide & n. exc. 1.5 mtr iin depth & getting out in soft / loose soil complete complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing the excavated material (soil) upto a distance n.exc.50 mtr & depositing where directed a level n.exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge..

Returning & filling in including sprading levelling, watering & well ramming in layers n.exc.1.5 mtr above starting point in soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for sand cushioning with dry and clean locally available sand for underground cable 8cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying cable and punned to 18 cm after laying of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Note: Pressed thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Supply and laying best quality locally availble Sub class 'B' bricks(oldsize) for cable protection cover, laid flat and lay in trenches over the cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and laying in replacement centrifugally casted ductile iron pipes with socket and spigot end of 400 mm dia class K-9 confirming to IS:8329/2000 (latest revision) suitable for push-on-joint with inside cement mortar lining and external black bitumen coating duly ISI marked in standard length of 5.5 meters complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for separately under respective item of BOQ)

Supply and fixing in replacement flanged non-return valve of class PN 1.6 of size 400 mm with all necessary fittings complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge..

Supply and fixing in replacement flanged sluice valve of class PN 1.6 of size 400 mm (16") dia with hand wheel and all necessary fittings complete all as specified and as directed Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement for DI Flanged fitting specials viz flange, bend ,connecting piece, Tee, Reducer/Enlarger suitable for 400 mm dia pipe line complete as per site requirment and as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge

M&L for Cutting of CI/DI pipe line of size up to 400 mm as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-charge..

Supply and fixing Cast iron air release valve with two air outlet,100mm dia bore and fixing up in cast iron water supply main complete all as specified and directed Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Construction of brick masonary valve pit chamber of internal size 200 cm x 200 cm x200 cm including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC Coping, MS Frame made out of angle iron of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm, MS Sheet Cover 3 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and grouting the frame in PCC (1:2:4) Type B1 including handle and locking arrangement with one Number 50 mm dia brass lock pad complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:-(i) The brick wall shall be 23 CM thick built in Cement mortar (1:4) (ii) Plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on internal surface of valve pit (iii) PCC in foundation shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate extended 15 cm all around from the external surface of walls. (iv) External face of brick wall including top shall be plastered upto 15 cm from top of valve pit in CM (1:6) (v). Depth of valve pit shall be reconed from top of foundation PCC. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note : A sum of Rs.6,54,340.00 will be deducted on account of credit for dismantled/ demolished / taken down material.
