REPAIRS TO AREA DRAINAGE INCL COVERS, DESILTING AND HARDSTANDING AND REPAIRS/ REPLACEMENT OF SEWAGE LINES AND CLEANING OF SEWAGE SYSTEM INCLUD HARDSTANDING AND PATH AT DURGAPUR, UNDER GE(SOUTH) DIGLIPUR.

Clearing away all grass, vegetation, saplings, shrubs, brush-wood, under-growth, roots and trees not exceeding 30 cm girth (measured one metre above ground level) for making approach to septic tanks, around manholes, manhole to manhole for Sewage lines and removing rubbish upto a distance of out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of blockage of sewage line up to 150mm bore systematically using necessary tools mechanically and /or manually such as by rodding, passing rope knots, bamboo Fanti and disc of required size (with safety measure such as dirt and gas etc) flushing the pipe with water till clear flow of sewage from both side between two adjacent manhole/gully traps of any depth taking out sludge in semi liquid stage including all water effluents etc in a closed container and removing all materials from site of work upto a distance exc 250m but n. exc 500m and sprinkling bleaching powder and covering sludge with earth after removal of blockage etc complete all as specified and as directed. Note: length will be measured through out the manholes for each time of cleaning.

Cleaning of septic tanks completely by emptying liquid, semi solid, solid foul contents including cleaning of inlets, outlets and getting out using suction pumps and filling the foul material into the covered tanks attached to suction pump and removing and disposing the same at a place meant for disposal of foul material outside the defence area complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of manhole / gully trap / floor trap blockages (including WC, urinal, kitchens and bathrooms) systematically using necessary tools mechanically and/or manually such as by rodding, bamboo Fanti and disc of required size (with safety measure gas from both side between two adjacent manhole/gully traps or WC/NT of any size or depth , taking out sludge in semi liquid stage / roots of the tree etc including all water effluents etc. And removing all materials from site of work upto a distance exceeding 50 mtr and depositing in earth pit of suitable size including supply and sprinkling of bleaching powder and covering sludge with earth after removal of blockage etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Desilting of storm water drains including dewatering and removing soil/muck to outside the MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for laying of drain pipes, or for manhole, etc., not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and exceeding 1.5 m in depth but not exceeding 3.0m in depth for laying of drain pipes, or for manhole, etc., not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in soft/loose soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material nexc 50mtr and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC type D2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded granite stone aggregate) in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.
