The unit supplied must be able to operate only in mixing mode or in aeration mode and also must have capability to work in simultaneous aeration and mixing mode. Aspirator based aerators should consist of an electric motor and regenerative blower/valve (if required) located above the water surface. The motor should be connected to the solid shaft beneath the hollow shaft with protective housing positioned at 45 angles downward into the water. Aerators with submersible motors are not acceptable. No gear box mechanism should be provided. The solid shaft should drive the mixing propeller and diffuser mechanism beneath the water surface. Diffuser should disperse the air as fine bubbles (2.0-2.5 mm diameter) into the stream of displaced water beneath the water surface. Size of bubbles should be as per EPA requirement. Oxygen transfer efficiency should not be less than 1.5 kg. O2/ KWH with Superior mixing capability. 1 UNIT.
