Plain Cement Concrete 1:5:10 (One Cement, five M.sand and ten aggregate) using 40 mm size hard broken granite stone jelly for foundation and flooring including dewatering wherever found necessary and laid in layers of not more than 15 cm thick, well rammed, consolidated and curing etc. complete complying with standard specification

Dismantling of RCC of any thickness in the super structure for dummy column and clearing away the debris from the foundation for initial lead and lifts etc., complete as directed by the Engineer,i/c.,

CENTERING WORKS (SCAFFOLDING AND FORM WORK)

Supplying and erecting steel shuttering including necessary supports for plane surfaces in foundation and basement for reinforced cement concrete works such as column footing, plinth beam, grade beam, and stair case steps, etc. Which require only normal strutting using M.S.sheets of size 90cmx60cm 10 gauge, stiffened with mild steel angles of size 25mm x25mm x 3mm for boarding supported by silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50cm spaced at about 90 cm centre to centre and supported by the casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc. complying with standard specification. (The payment for centering will be made only after the concrete is laid).

REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE WORKS

Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:11/2:3 (One Cement, one and half M.sand and three hard broken stone jelly) using machine broken 20 mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC item of works excluding cost of reinforcement grill, fabricating charges, centering and shuttering but including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrator, finishing, curing, etc., complete and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/roof slab wherever necessary and bearing surfaces of wall, beam etc. shall be finished smooth with cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three P.Sand) 12mm thick and kraft paper laid over it without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

REINFORCEMENT

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position of steel reinforcements using MS / RTS rods for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel. Binding wire, straightening the rods, welding of rods, dia above 25mm in all floors complying with standard specifications. [The welding should conform to BIS. Wherever required at contractor’s expense.]

Brick work in Cement Mortar 1:5 (One cement and Five M.sand) using second class ground moulded chamber burnt bricks of size 9”x 4½”x 3” for the following including curing, etc., complete complying with standard specification.

FLOORING AND TILING

Paving the floor with Designed Colour double charged Vitrified tiles of size 600 x 600 x 8mm in all floors over a base layer of Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.sand) 20mm thick and pointed with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.3 Kg/sq.m including finishing neatly and curing, etc. complete, complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The basic cost of tiles should not be less than Rs.80/-- Sq.ft)

Paving the floor with Designed Colour Ceramic joint free tiles of size 300x300x 6mm in all floors over a base layer of Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.Sand) 20mm thick and pointed with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.3 Kg/sq.m including finishing neatly and curing, etc. complete, complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. Dadooing the wall with glazed tiles of size 30cmx45cm of approved colour and quality with base plastering of cement mortar 1:3 [One cement and three M.Sand] 12mm thick, pointed with coloured cement to match the colour of the tiles finishing neatly etc., complete.

Flooring with the Kotta Stone slab of 20 to 25mm thick laid over cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M sand) 20mm thick and pointing the joints to full depth of slabs with cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three sand ) mixed with colour oxide including laying, finishing, polishing with machine polish, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification.general not less than 1200mm long and width as per drg. machine cut and machine high pre-polished, set in C.M 1:3, 20 mm thick topped with white cement slurry (for surface contact of the bottom of the Kotah slab) as per approved pattern/design drawing by using irrespective of size and shape, including finishing the joints with white cement slurry, cutting, edge chamfering and polishing rough, medium, nice and acid wash and tin-oxide polish as per manufacturer's Specification and as complete with all respects complying with relevant standard specfication as directed by the department Engineer-Incharge/Consultant. Rate shall include for preparation of base surface & finished the surface, protection with gypsum/pop layer over plastic sheet and removing the same before handing over, work at all levels, as directed. For steps (Riser and Treads) instead of floor (including edge moulding with polishing and non slippery stripes etc;)

Flooring with the Kotta Stone slab size 60 x 60 cms of 20 to 25mm thick laid over cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.Sand) 20mm thick and pointing the joints to full depth of slabs with cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.Sand) mixed with colour oxide including laying, finishing, polishing with machine polish, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification. (For Skirting)

Painting & Polishing

Painting two coats of Interior and external emulsion paint over one coat of exterior primer using best quality and approved colour of paint, brushes, scaffolding charges etc. complete complying with standard specification. Paint, primer and colour have to be got approved by the Engineer,i/c.,

Painting the walls with two coats of oil bound distemper over one coat of water based cement primer including cost for distemper, primer, cleaning and scrapping the walls, rendering the walls smooth with necessary putty, brushes, scaffolding arrangements, labour charges etc., as per standard specification. (The colour and shade of the distemper shall be got approved by the Executive engineer before use of work).

Supplying and fixing flush door shutters 35mm thick of single leaf with skin type paneled door made up of hard wood of approved quality including fixing necessary furniture fittings such as iron oxide MS hinges of 125mm x 30mm size 3 Nos., aluminium aldrop of size 250 x 16mm – 1 No. aluminium tower bolt of size 250 x 12mm – 1 No. Aluminium tower bolt of size 200x12mm – 1 No., D type aluminium handle of size 125mm – 2 Nos. Aluminium door stopper / magnet catch 3” depth – 1 No. respectively, etc. complete complying with standard specification.

Supply and fixing country wood scantling (first quality Paddock wood) for door frames including labour charges for making, applying anti corrosive paint on the back sides of frame and fixing the frame in position, etc. complete complying with standard specification. (The wood have to be got approved by departmental Engineers before use on work).

Painting new wood work with two coats of synthetic enamel ready mixed paint of approved quality and colour over a priming coat in all floors. The rate is inclusive cost of all materials and labour including the cost of primer etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Engineer,,i/c., before use on works).

Manufacturing supplying and fixing of STEEL DOOR with following section. Outer frame 40 X 40 X 6mm Hollow steel special extruded section at 3.28Kg/RM and shutter frame 35 X 35 X 6mm hollow steel special extruded section at 3.28Kg/RM. Stiffeners with 32 X 6mm at 1.5 Kg/m MS flat is provided as the lock rail of the door and welded in fact on both ends to shutter frame. 20 gauge CR sheets of best quality is laid as panel in the shutters frames. 18X5mm at 0.7 Kg/m MS flat is welded over the 32X6mm at 1.50 Kg/m MS that on the rear side of the sand witching the CR sheet for rigidly. Additional stiffness with 18 X 5mm at 0.7 Kg/m MS flats are provided diagonally on the rear side of the shutter 2 Nos., of hinges in case of single leaf and 4 Nos., of hinges in case of double leaf shutter is provided 6 Nos., of hold fasts 120mm length spliced at the ends are welded to the outer frames of the door. Tower bolt 2 Nos., one at top and the other at bottom are provided. One aldrop is provided in case of double leaf door at lock rail section in the door. For single leaf doors one more aldrop is provided in the inner side of the door and additional provision for locking arrangements for lock is provided on the rear side of the door at in appropriate place, in case of a double leaf door, MS flat 32 X 3mm at 1.10 Kg/m is provided on the edge of one shutter, to conceal the gap between the shutters. A tic bat is provided at the bottom of the outer frame to prevent twisting of frame during transportation of fixing. All members are given a shop coat of red oxide primer etc., as directed by the departmental officers. The rate is include cost of all materials, labour charges, transportation, taxes and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Supply and finishing in position of Solid PVC door shutters using 19 gauge 19mm MS square tubes for styles and outer frames. 15mm MS square tubes for top lock and bottom rails. The steel tubes shall be covered with 5mm thick solid PVC sheets. Shutter using 5mm thick solid PVC sheets for paneling shall rigidly fixed in position including necessary furniture fittings. The overall size of styles shall be 50mm X 30mm. The overall size of top rail, lock rail and bottom rail shall be 75mm X 30mm. The overall size of frames shall be 50mm X 45mm with suitable rebate for housing the shutter. (Solid panel PVC door with Frame)

Providing and fixing in position first quality teak wood beading / architrave of finished size as given below, made to shape and pattern approved with necessary pins, nails, screws, bolts using teakwood conforming to specification. Rate shall include tow coats of Duco paint over a coat of Wood Primer etc., as directed.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position standard pristine white U-PVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) partly fixed and partly sliding windows as per the design and drawings and making necessary opening for the exhaust fan fixing in all floors with extruded upvc sections of required sizes as per IS Standard with necessary accessories such as rubber beedings with best quality rubber, lock, handle, supplying and fixing 4mm thick plain / frosted glass including the cost of all materials, labour, power consumption required for the fabrication, drilling holes in RCC columns, floor, masonry wall wherever necessary with power drills to the required extent and making good to the original condition after fixing etc., and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

UPVC Ventilator Specification:Supplying and fixing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) Louvered Ventilators of from the profile the size of outer frame 60mm x 58mm and shutter profile size of 60 x 78mm both profiles are reinforced with GI/1mm 125GSM and100% corrosion free, the profile are multi chambered sections with wall thick of 2mm. The EPDM rubber (black colour) covered with all over the edges of frame and shutter. The corners and joints should be welded and cleaned. Radiations pin headed glass 4mm thick should be provided in the louvers. The window should be fixed to the wall with 100% packing with screws and silicon packing all round the frames. The ventilator should be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on work

Supplying and fixing of double sides pre-polished Cuddapha slab for cupboards, racks, platform in all floors including the cost of cement mortar, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification (Granite slab thickness should be 25mm to 30mm thick) and as directed by the Engineer,i/c.,

Supplying and fixing of M.S. pipe of various sizes (3" dia pipe for vertical posts and 1½" dia M.S. pipe for stay) embedding with cement concrete 1:2:4 to a depth of 0.50 and leaving 1.50m above the ground including providing necessary for lening applying a coat of primer ect. complete.

Supplying and fixing of powder coated galvanized aluminium metal roofing sheet 0.47mm thick jew or equivalent of ISI make of different colour sheet for roofing with necessary adjustable ridges seater by using “U” or “J” bolts and nuts with washers or SDST screws and also the labour charges for fixing in position etc., complete as directed by the Engineer,i/c.,

Supplying and fixing of M.S.grill of approved design for open courtyard, grill, grill work to doors and window openings etc., using necessary mild steel flats for inner and outer members which should be fixed on edges including priming coat of best approved quality red oxide primer etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and fixing in position steel balustrades using 20mm square rods spaced at 150mm centre to centre so that the two balustrades in each step shall be placed centrally and the top of balustrades connected with the hand rails (cost of hand rail shall be measured and paid separately) by means of MS flats of size 40mm x 6mm in the groove 40mm x 6mm provided at the bottom of hand rail; the bottom of balustrades shall be fixed on to the top of step concrete. An additional MS flat of size 50mm x 6mm shall be provided at the centre of balustrades connecting all square rods to the entire length including cost of square rods, flat and applying one coat of red oxide primer to the iron surfaces, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing expansion joint in 10 cm RCC floor slab for 12.5mm width using polysulphide as sealent on the top and bottom for a depth of 7.5mm each and packing the inner space using compressible non-absorbent filler materials including cost of labour for cutting and fixing filler materials and laying polysulphide sealent with necessary spatula etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing expansion joint in 10cm of 12.5mm wide in between RCC twin columns from top of pedastal to full height including filling the inner space with suitable non-absorbent, flexible and well compressible filler materials of approved quality and brand; finishing the sides of RCC columns with polysulphide sealents for a depth of 7.5mm on either side covering the inner space filled with filler materials as above etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers.

Weathering course concrete using best quality broken brick jelly of size of 20mm uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (No M.Sand to be used) over the RCC roof slab, the proportion of brick jelly to lime being 31:12.5 by volume laid over in a single layer and consolidated to the required designed and finished thickness by beating the concrete with wooden of beaters of approved pattern, keeping the surface constantly wet by sprinkling water, etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Finishing the top .of roof with one course of MACHINE PRESSED TILES of size 230mmx230mmx20mm of approved quality laid in cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three M.Sand) 12mm thick mixed with water proofing compound conforming and the top pointed with the same water proofing compound and red oxide, etc., Complete complying with standard specifications and as directed.

Filling the sunken portion Broken Brick Jelly of size 20mm in Surki Mortar uniform gauge in pure slaked lime (No sand to be used) and finished thickness by beating the concrete with wooden beaters of approved pattern keeping the surface constantly water by sprinkling etc., complete as directed by the Engineer,i/c.,

Providing Polymer coating (water proof coating) for sunken portion of toilet with following specification and the surface shall be cleaned to remove all dust, foregin, matters lose material or any other deposits of contamination by rubbing with wire brush. Slurry: Dry blend and polymer liquid blend shall be mixed into the desired ratio as per recommendation of the supplier. The mix shall be stirred thouroughly until no bubbles remain in the mix . Any lumps found shall be removed. Apply first coat of polymer modified cementatitious slurry by brush on wet cleaned surface. Painting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide priming coat in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification. Suppling and fixing of Cut Stone Pillar of size 0.15 x 0.15 x 2.1m including labour charges etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed.

Supplying and fixing in position of 2''x2'' size chain link fencing 10 gauge and fixing with M.S. Angle post using 16 gauge G.I. Wire including running the 2 ply and 4 pin G.I. barbed wire 12 gauge at bottom, middle and top of M.S. angle posts (As stiffner to the chain link fencing) etc, complete copmplying with standard specification.

Supply and fixing of pre-fabricated PUF panel security cabin of size 6’ x 5’ x 7’ height with all electrical fittings and 18mm cement board with Vinyl flooring (aluminium Sliding window 1m x 1m – 3 Nos). The rate including transportation and labour charges etc., complete.

Structural Glazing: Providing and fixing structural glazing fabricated from roll formed sections made of galvanized steel colour coated (Base steel as per IS 513 of 'D' quality, galvanized as per IS 277 with Zinc of 120 grams/sqm.) with total coated thickness of 0.72mm. The glass holding section made of 304 grade SS of 0.6mm thick. Galvanized steel sections are to be used as stiffeners inside the colour coated steel / powder coated sections as per the design requirement. Design calculations are made to suit wind pressures as given in IS 875. Paint specifications: Primer coat with epoxy primer of 5-7 microns thick, finish painted with a polyester paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with alkyd backer of 5-7 microns or powder coated with pure polyester powder upto 50-60 microns thick. Dimensions: The section should be of 37 x 53mm for frame vertical, 37 x 53mm for frame horizontal section and section for reinforcement should be of 31 x 55mm. glass holding section should be of 37 x 37mm for top and bottom grids in between should be of 37 x 18mm. Accessories: Brackets made of CRCA powder coated / electro plated should be used to fix vertical at top and bottom and vertical to slab as per site requirement. Polyurethane brackets should be used to connect horizontal section to vertical sections. Silicone: Natural cure, with good UV resistance to be used. The above frame should be fixed to brick / concrete masonry by using nylon self-expanding cap and driving MS electro plated 80mm long screws into the caps through frames. Supplying and fixing in positon Indian Water Closet (Oriya type) of size 580 x 440mm white glazed earthern ware of approved quality and brand with "P" or "S" trap conforming to BIS with sand cushion and forming flooring alround the closet using 40mm broken brick jelly in lime concrete 1:2:5 (One lime, Two sand and Five brick jelly) 100mm thick and finishing the top to the required slope and including giving necessary connection to PVC pipes (including the cost of 110mm dia PVC pipe for a length of 600mm) by dismantling brick masonry wall / reinforced cement concrete roof / floor slab and making good the dismantled portion to the original condition with leakages etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the departmental officers. Pipes shall be joined using solvent welded CPVC fittings i.e. Tees, Elbows, Couplers, Unions, Reducers, brushings etc. including transition fittings (connection between CPVC & metal pipe/GI) i.e. Brass Adaptors (both Male & Female threaded) conforming to ASTM D-2846. ASTM F441 with only CPVC solvent cement conforming to ASTM F-493.Cost shall be inclusive of (a)Making maximum of 7.5 x 7.5 cm chasing in wall and floors for the pipe, making good the same by using 1:1 cement mortar over the wire mesh and providing protection to embedded pipes and fittings (in wall chase) by wrapping two layers of 400 micron polythene sheet including proper overlaps on joints complete as required or (b) Fixing/supporting the pipes (& fittings) at wall/ceiling level supported by galvanized clamps, hangers etc, as per specification.
