REPAIR / RESURFACING TO ROAD, PATH WAYS, HARD STANDING INCLUDING REPLACEMENT OF ROAD FURITURE AND ROAD MARKING PAINT ETC, AT INS CHILKA

M&L for repairs to pot holes of any depth not exc. 1 sqm each and including sweeping, free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and shield with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exc. 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.and including applying paving bitumen VG30 grade evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per ten square metre complete all as specified and directed.

M&L bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 25 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50 % paving bitumen of viscosity VG30 as binder content weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note: If actual design mix comes less than 5.50% binder content, then the rate of recovery of bitumen shall be as per rate in purchase voucher per each kg for the purpose of adjustment. However, no adjustment shall be made if the binder content is more than 5.5%.

Moorum / red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers n. exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rolled consolidated to required gradient using power roller of capacity exc. 8 tonne and including watering complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of new / old surfaces of road / pavements and the like, 10 cm wide and including applying 1mm thick (reflective type) resin thermoplastic paint for road marking strips, lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc, of approved colour / make, by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater etc. driven by the skilled operator complete all as per MORTH specifications and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) n.exc 15 cm thick (below or above ground level) and removing the debris to a distance not exc. 100 m from site all as directed.

M&L hardcore of guage n. exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n. exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using 40 mm graded aggregate as in sub base of floor / hard standing / path complete all as specified and directed

M&L 75 mm thick PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (20 mm graded aggregate) as in floor / hard standing / path complete all as specified and directed.

M&L providing, cement concrete1:2:4, type B1 (20 mm graded aggregate) in roof kerbs, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed
