Part-II : LAYING WATER TRANSMISSION ARRANGEMENT

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete.(a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

Earthwork in excavation of field trenches as per designed section & alignment for laying of pipe lines(PVC,RCC,ACP etc.) upto a depth of 1500 mm in all sorts of soil including removing, spreading or stacking extra earth as directed.The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling,dressing and ramming the bottom as required complete.

Laying of PVC pipes of different diameters within field trenches in curve/ straight line including using UPVC fittings, Viz. Horizontal and Vertical Bends, riser pipes, Tee Reducer etc.and making leak proof joints with couplers after roghening the surface with wire brush and emery paper and applying solvent cement (The rate is inclusive of transport of pipesfittigs and solvent cement to be supplied by deptt.) all complete asper direction of Engineer-In- charge. ii) 200 mm. dia

Earth work in filling in trenches after laying pipe lines (PVC,RCC,ACP etc.) with good earth obtained from excavation of field trences in layer not exceeding 225 mm , including watering & ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (payment will be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work)

Filling in foundation or plinth by fine sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidated the same by through saturation with water ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand.

Single brick flat soling of picked Jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. (i) Pakur Variety (Enclosed Annexure-II for rate Anylisis)

125 mm. thick brick work with 1st class bricks in cement mortar (1:4) in ground floor.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor). Neat cement punning about 1.5 mm. thick in wall dado, floor, drain, door and window sill etc. complete.

Labour Charges for fitting, fixing and laying, where necessary of following M.S / G.I. / E.R.W. pipes and accessories (to be supplied departmentally) including transportation of the same cutting, threading, jointing and making leak-proof threaded / flanged joint at site, by using socket / rubber insertion, nuts and bolts etc. maintaining proper alignment and level - all complete - as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (i) 150 mm. dia. ERW pipe.

Fitting and fixing of M.S. / G.I. / C.I.accessories and special in pipe line (accessories & special to be supplied departmentally) including supply of jointing materials viz.rubber insertion, nuts & bolts, havoc Zink (Zink Oxide) complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. a) 150 mm dia sluice valve.

Repairing of leakages in collar joints of R.C.C. Pipe line by opening the joints fully by chipping out the old morter, cleaning the pipe recesses and collar properly, and thereafter positioning and levelling the pipes and collar, filling the annual spaces of joints with jute braiding dipped in cement slurry and grouting with (1:2) cement morter mixed with approved quality water proofing compound (5% by wt. of cement) and curing all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (a) 450 mm dia. R.C.C. Pipe.

Labour charges for fitting, fixing 150 mm. Dia. Alfa-Alfa valve with 140 mm. dia.P.V.C. pipe with the help of flanged P.V.C. tail-piece by joining the P.V.C.End of Tail-piece and riser pipe with coupler and flanged end of Tail-piece and Alfa-Alfa valve with rubber insertion, nuts and bolts etc. complete.).

Supplying, fitting and fixing including transportation of MS Signboard of Size 2.0 m × 1.0 mx 3.00mm thick with 2 nos MS angle 40×40×6 mm welded as periphery frame and 2 nos.MS angle posts of 40x40x6mm thick (8 ft ≈ 2.44 m each), embedded 2 ft (≈0.6 m) into 1:2:4 CC cement concrete for identifing the exact location of RLI scheme including cutting, welding with supply and installation of flex over the MS Sheet. .This will include one materials and labour complete as per drawing and direction of EIC

Testing of pipe line system against leakages by filling the distribution chamber with water and supplying water through the entirepipe line net work for at least 4 (four) hour by running the departmental Diesel Engine pumping set, including supplying necessary fuels & lubricants and hiring and transporting tools and plants all complete as per direction of Engineer-inCharge.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with (1:6) sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners, as directedand racking out joints or roughening of concrete surface including throating. Nosing and drip course as necessary at ground floor. a) 15 mm thick with 1:6 cement mortar.

b) 20 mm thick with 1:6 cement mortar.

c) 10 mm thick with 1:4 cement mortar.

25 mm. thick damp proof course with cement concrete with stone chips (1:1.5:3) [with graded stone aggregate 10 mm nominal size] and admixture of water proofing compound as per manufacturer's specification followed by two coat of polymer based paint, (1st coat after 4 to 5 days of concrete laying and 2 nd coat just before brick masonry work) as directed (cost of water proofing compound & polymer based paint to be paid separately).( Chequering not required over concrete or painted surface). [Note: - Water proofing as per item 9, polymer based paint as per item 8 (a) of subhead C of Section (C).

Artificial stone in floor, dado, staircase etc with cement concrete (1:2:4) with stone chips, laid in panels as directed with topping made with ordinary or white cement (as necessary) and marble dust in proportion (1:2) including smooth finishing and rounding off corners including raking out joints or roughening of concrete surface and application of cement slurry before flooring works using cement @ 1.75 kg/sq.m all complete including all materials and labour. In ground floor.3 mm. thick topping (High polishing grinding on this item is not permitted with ordinary cement).Using grey cement(ii) 25 mm. thick

M.S.or W.I. Ornamental grill of approved design joints continuously welded with M.S, W.I. Flats and bars of windows,railing etc. fitted and fixed with necessary screws and lugs in ground floor.(ii) Grill weighing above 16 Kg./sq.mtr and above.

Supplying 1.5mm thick M.S. sheet fitted and fixed on one or both faces of M.S./ W.I. gate etc. with point welding at not more than 150 mm apart complete in all respect as per design including cost of all labour and materials.

Supplying, fitting & fixing UPVC pipes A- Type and fittings conforming to IS:13592-1992 with all necessary clamps nails, including making holes in walls, floor etc. cutting trenches in any soil through masonry concrete structures etc if necessary and mending good damages including joining with jointing materails (Spun Yarn, Valamoid/Bitumen/M-Seal etc) complete . Long) , 13 mm dia x80 mm long GI bolts, double nuts, double washers incl S & F 15 mm dia GI pipe protection (1 Mts. Long) to be filled with bitumen partly under the ground level and partly above ground level.

Supplying & Fixing Earth Bushbar of galvaanised(HOT DIP) MS Flat 25mm X 6 mm on wall having clearance of 6mm from including providing drilled holes on the bushbar complete with GI bolts , nuts, washers, spacing insulators etc. as required.

Connecting the equipments to earth bushbar including S & F solid no. 8 SWG GI (Hot Dip) wire on wall/ floor with staples buried inside wall/floor as requried and making connection to equipments with bolt , nuts, washers,, cable, luns etc. as required and meeting good damages.
