Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Construction equipment owned by the tenderer and equipment proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Reports on the financial standing of the tenderer, such as profit and loss statements and auditors reports for the last five years

Registration with Employees Provident Fund Organisation under EPF and Miscellaneous Provision Act 1952 (Should attach latest copy)

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.

Conditional tenders are not accepted.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs. The Cost of the tender form shall not be refundable

The employer reserves the rights to reject one or all tenders without assigning any reason.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing KPPP portal.

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders.

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer should give all details and documents as per bid attached to this tender

Materials like bitumen, steel, cement etc., required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should get tested by the quality control authority before used on the work

As per Karnataka state Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Blore dated 01.01.07 and Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.07, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

All the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be flled by the tenderer in complete manner otherwise it will be rejected

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval

Original documents/ Certificates enclosed must be produced in the office of Executive Engineer at the time of opening of bid

All the items in the tender are inclusive of cost of all materials, all leads lifts, loading, unloading, transportation, labour, hire chares of machinery , curing for concrete works

Contractors should follow strictly prevailing rules of labour act

In case if the death of a contractor, after executing the agreement / commencement of the work, his legal heir, is an eligible registered contractor and is willing, can execute and complete the work, at the accepted tender rates, irrespective of the cost of the work

Department will not supply any materials

The tenderer should submit proposed methodology and programme of construction backed with equipment and material planning, & deployment duly supported with broad calculation and quality management , plan, proposed to be adopted justifying their capability of execution and completion of the work as per technical specifcations and within the stipulated period of completion

The contractor should maintain the work for the period of 2 years (Two years) after the completion of the work at his own cost

The intending contractors are requested to note that they should abide by the detailed instructions and conditions contained in the Standard Bid document KW 2

GST paid separately as per Government order No FWD/65/RDF/2017 Dated:11-10-2018

Period of contract for which the contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the Authority while granting the Extension of Time.

Within 20 days of receipt of the letter of acceptance the successful tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Additional Security Deposit for unbalance tenders accordance with clause 24.3 of ITT of the Conditions of Contract.

The successful Tenderer shall deliver to the Employer a Security deposit in any of the forms given below for an amount equivalent to 5% of the Contract price plus additional security for unbalanced tenders in accordance with the Conditions of Contract

Qualification of the Tenderer (a)To qualify for award of this contract, each Tenderer in its name should have in the last five years period i.e. 2020-21 to 2024-25 a) achieved in at least two financial years an average annual financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) of Rs. 41.53 Lakhs.

N-Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which Tenders are invited. (03 Months) B - Value, at 2025-26 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 03 months (period of completion of the works for which Tenders are invited) Note: The statements showing the value of existing commitments and on-going works as well as the stipulated period of completion remaining for each of the works listed should be countersigned by the Employer in charge, not below the rank of an Executive Engineer or equivalent
