Surface excavation not exc. 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not. exc 1.5 m deep and not exc. 1.5 m wide for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits,manholes,pier holes ,poles cables etc n.exc 10sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil including taking out brick protection where available complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas exc 1.5 m but n.exc 3 m deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25cm as in soft loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of formwork to flat faces of Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and making fair finish; and similar work; vertical or to batter complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for design Mix M-35 design mix (Ready mix concrete ) using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Formwork and reinforcement shall be measured and paid seperately .

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia, and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 5 mm dia & over upto & including 10mm dia in stirrups, cut to length, bent to shape required in stirrups, spacers and binders and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) and not less than 0.9 mm dia, or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Soling (or sub base) for 150 mm thick with broken boulders or quarried stone , interstices filled , surface formed ,spread, rolled , consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete work in pavement/ hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 12mm thick Expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘B’ thickness of concrete slab 150mm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 250mm bore UPVC Pipe (SCH-40) with and including all fittings for installation of Fairlead tube and other similar work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L150mm thick shingle or gravel , spread , rolled & consolidated to gradient & camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for loose filling with broken stone /boulders aggregates of gauge 80 to 150mm as in pits/pipes complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal /square heads at one end & screwed the other/ screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers & one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt exc 5cm but n exc 10cm long dia of shank 11 to 15 mm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Hard drawn steel wire fabric cut to lengths, bent to shape required & tying with & including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia supplied & fixed in reinforcement Weight exc 4 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Reinforced concrete pipes 250mm dia, class NP2,with and including all necessary fittings laid & jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F MS Square plate 25.4mm thick and 152.4 X 152.4 Size for drilling holes, nothching for wire etc; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M &L for applying two or more coats of 100% premium acrylic emuslion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489 : 2004, Alkali & Fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 Sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10Sqm over new surfaces.

S & F Mild steel bolts purpose made with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed the other, or screwed both end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square not Exc 30 cm long & dia exc 20mm n.exc 25mm complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for applying two or more coats of non skid epoxy paint complete all as specified and directed

M & L for providing water proof insulation for pit wall and floor by installing a bituminous based elastomeric membrane of min thickness of 1.5mm covered with 1" formular 250 (cold climate) insulation board complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for application of solvent cement of Oatey or equivalent for joining PVC complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for solvent cement of Oatey or equivalent for clearing PVC complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for solvent cement primer of Oatey or eqivalent for joining PVC complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for anchor bolt fixing chemical injection mortar/epoxy grout for vibratory/heavy equipment basis, non shrinkage type for fixing of MS bolts to the foundation complete all as specified and as directed.

E/M WORKS

Boring under roads with mechanical arrangement with 100 mm dia GI tubing without disturbing the top surface of the road for passing the cable across the road complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) All the precaution to be taken by the contractor before drilling the bore. The contractor has to take plan of existing cables any type and pipe line in existing area before drilling the bore. (ii) Any damage to existing cables any type and pipe line in the way of drilling the bore will be repaired and make good by the contractor. No extra cost will be paid in this account. (iii) Contractor has to get the survey of route, length and depth for boring before quoting the rate. (iv) Maximum depth/ thickness of existing hard standing, road/ pavement is not more than 800mm.

Taking out / dismantling of existing Runway Elevated fitting any type, Taxi way light, stop bar lights, Isolating Transformer, etc including disconnecting all Electrical wiring including transporting from the runway site upto store for safe handing to the AF Auth, complete all as specified and as directed. (a) Complete assembly for elevated Runway Edge lights

Supply of Runway Edge High Intensity Bi-directional inset light CY with (2x105W) halogen lamp with 12 inch shallow base complete with bottom box and all accessories including halogen lamp lens/Yellow filter, reflector etc as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Installation, Testing and Commissioning of inset type Runway fittings including installation of Isolating transformer, making connection with secondary lead etc. as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply of primary cables 1C x 6 Sqmm Airfield lightning (5KV) brass tape screended Type C, stranded tinned copper conductor with XLPE insulation complete all as specified and as directed.

Laying of Primary Cable 1C x 6 sqmm in existing HDPE Pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply,laying, installation, testing and commissioning secondary cables 1C x 4Sqmm (0.75 V) flexible copper conductor, XLPE insulaton complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for supply and fixing of connector kit for primary cables Each Job field mounted and resin filled plug type, suitable for conductor cross sectional 6 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of 32 mm HDPE Pipe of pressure rating 6kgf/cm2 to serve as conduit for primary and secondary cables puling complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing of CI housing box along with top lead, round type, metal container of size 330 mm dia and 450 mm height made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all around, except the top surface which is 15 mm thick suitable to receive a light fitting base plate on top, having clear holes (for AFL cable entry) center 3" above bottom surface suitable to receive 1 No 50 mm dia GI pipe & check nut as required. The box should have two earth bolts of M-10 x 30 mm welded inside near the cable entry hole on one side and having a drain hole at the bottom suitable tapped to receive 15mm dia Gl pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 Nos M 10 tapped hole at the centre 260 mm dia to receive fitting base plate and bolts as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply of 5000V, 50 Hz individual lamps series type Isolating Transformers encapsulated in polyester resin, finally moulded with neoprene rubber as specified in particular specifications of ratings 200W, 6.6/6.6 A complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying of 40 mm dia GI pipe (Light grade) including accessories as T Joint, end cap, elbow etc to lay in under kerf cutting area for running cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for kerf cutting in existing asphalt surface of size 75mm x 100 mm deep for laying Gl conduit including accessories required & filing material matching with existing surface (DBM/M10) and making good as per existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3 mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 4 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 3.25 mtr below ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3 mm as earth lead by brass nut bolts washer including brazing the copper strip with copper plate as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earth test point including necessary excavation in hard dense soil, rocky / disintergate rock, filling charcoal and salt around the plate in layers , filling the pit with low resistivity agriculture soil free from stones, to be bring from out side defence land and mixed with Bentonite , (3 bags of 25 Kg each ), construction of inspection pit ( earth pit chamber) of brick work of size 600 x 600 x 600 mm with PCC copping of 1 :2: 4 , 12.5 mm aggregate A1 with MS sheet 2.8 mm plate cover on frame of angle iron of size 40 x 40 x 5 mm with , wire mess, funnel, test point, 40 mm dia GI protection pipe light grade and 20 mm GI peforated pipe for watering etc complete and testing on completion. The electrode and lead shall be of copper all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge (Copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be included in the item rate and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No. 2.14 (i) Contractor shall use low reistivity fresh agriculture soil , mixed with 3 x Bags of bentonite clay of 25 Kg each for refilling the pit to achive the desired resistance. (ii) copper strip will be laid below 60 cm from ground level and connected to test point through plinth protection (iii) Necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and connected plate and earth continuity conductor by providing 2 x brass nuts bolts and brazing of joints, bringing argiculture soil from out side defence land and cost of 3 x Bags of bentonite deemed to be included in the item rate. (iv) Contractor has to clear the side and disposed off the excavated soil from pit on completion of work. (v) Contractor has to submit test report of earthing after completing the earthing. (vi) Bentonite clay should be Conf to IS 6186: 1986

Supply and fixing cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3 ½ /4 core, XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 25 to 50 sq mm, Indoor/Outdoor type complete all as specified and as directed. Make- Raychem/M-Seal.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with Jointing material heat Shrink type and accessories suitable for 3 ½ / 4 core XLPE, armoured, Al conductor cable of size 70 to 95 sqmm,Indoor/Outdoor type complete all as specified and as directed. Make- Raychem/M-Seal.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 50 sq mm 3½ core, in pipe /trench /cable duct /fixed on wall/truss by proper size shaped GI clamps with nut bolts etc including aluminium lugs at both ends of cable and making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No 2.18 here-in-before but size of cable 70 sqmm 3½ core, complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for sand filling around the cable with approved quality coarse sand for sand cushioning of Under ground cable including spreading and punning down to 18 cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed.(Compacted thickness shall be measured)

Supply & Fixing burnt clay fly ash bricks old size designation 75 (kg/cm2) in trenches on cable as cable protection across the length of the cable (width wise) complete all as specified and as directed.

NOTE:- (i) Work will be carried out on non flying days/non flying hours and contractor have to provide barricading on work site as per direction of Eng-in-charge. (ii) Work shoud be carried out as per site specific FRDs No. 52F1416 provided by M/s SAFRON Aero system Arresting , which is held with GE(AF) Kalaikunda.
