Supplying, laying, testing and connecting XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 33 KV (E) grade, of size 400 Sq mm, 3 core, laid in trenches/pipe complete all as specified & as directed in replacement of overhead conductor. Note : Excavation, Earth work, Cable protection, sand filling and Cable Joints shall be measured and paid separately in respective item of this BOQ.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of 400 Sqmm , 3 core complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of 400 Sqmm , 3 core complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and erect steel Structures to support 33 KV cable with ISMB/Channnel/Angle iron/Flat including necessary hard ware in any shape or size including GI Nut, bolts,washers, clamps suitable for above structure/equipments and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 200 mm dia suitable for 0.6 mpa working pressure complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling of 33 KV ACSR conductor from 33 KV steel structures tower ccomplete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling insulators any type, any size from 33 KV steel structures tower complete all as specified & as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep in soft / loose soil for laying / taking up/ taking down of cables and getting out and levelling of bottom suface to required level complete all as specified & as directed.

Returning filling in,. Including spreading, levelling,. Watering and well ramming soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (ie soil) from site to a distance n. exc 50 mtrs away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & as directed.

Material and labour for river washed and screened, dry sand for filling in trenches below and around underground cables for cushioning of cables etc, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Only Punned Sand shall be measured and paid for.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat size 300mmx 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified & as directed.

Laying only old un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat size 300mmx 180mm x 40mm obtained under this work complete all as specified & as directed.

Material and Labour for Boring of hole under road/pavement/hard standing or any other situation by mannual means and suitable for passing of GI pipe 100 to 150 mm bore and making good both ends all specified and directed. Note For Sr No 5, 15 & 16 Above : The Rate for taking permission from concerned authorities like MTNL, Army Signal , BSES and other utility authority are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. If any utilities services like road are damaged during execution of work , the same will be repaired/replaced/ made good by the Contractor without any additional payment by the Department.

Supply and fix in replacement air break switch, gang operated, tripple pole, mechanically operated mechanism, switch air break gang operated mounted on 15 Nos insulator and steel frame with operating rod of 25 mm bore GI Pipe and locking arrangements worked from ground level for current rating 400 Amps, HT 11 KV grade including drop out fuses and necessary silver coper coating jumpers and making all electrical connections complete all as specified & as directed including taking down of old unserviceable air break switch, gang operated device.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.10 m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32 x 6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, connected to earth test point and the equipment on the other nuts and washers of galvanised ironside complete all as specified, including testing and commissioning complete all as directed including taking down of old unserviceable earthing. Material & Labour for replacement of jumper/bus bar made of ACSR conductor of existing size on HT Four/Six pole structure having 2/3 incoming/outoing feeder including bus bar with PVC sleeve , lugs , nut bolts and washers complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in replacement Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers,welding, bending cold or hot,drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of aluminium paint on 4/6 pole 11 KV HT structure .

M & L for cutting and removing grass, vegetation bushes etc from surrounding 4 pole/6 pole HT structure , outside area of HT installation and removing all rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified & as directed.

Material and labour for filling and spreading of stone aggregate of nominal size not more than 25mm under 4/6 pole HT structure /surounding area of outdoor RMU manually without damaging any equipments, cable or parts , spreading & levelling of finished gravel uniformaly in layers n. ecc. 15 cm thick rammed to true surface all as specified and directed

Supply installation & commissioning in replacement of 24V/40A Float Cum Boost Battery Charger unit including battery bank comprising 02 Nos of 12 Volts-100 AH sealed maintenance free battery. The CCCV battery charger consisting of copper wound, air cooled transformer, 01 Set single phase full wave bridge rectifier consisting of diodes and SCRs, liberally rated mounted on heat sink and complete with resistor/condenser network for surge supperssion . During auto float mode automatic changeover shall take place from float mode to boost mode and vice versa, 01 Set of solid state constant potential controller to stabilize the DC output voltage of the float cum boost charger, 01 No electronic controller , DC digital ammeter , DC digital voltmeter, Potentiometer , DC, MCB for reverse battery protection . The charger should have alarm annunciation with visual and audible alarm with manual reset facility for fuse fail alarm. Float cum boost battery charger and DC distribution board shall be housed in powder coated sheet steel cubicle with panels of 1.6mm thickness , louvers for ventilation , gland plate will be provided for cable entry from bottom .

The battery charger shall be divided into two compartments. The upper compartment shall house the battery charger & DCDB with all necessary controls. The lower compartment shall be suitable for housing the batteries. Tech specification shall be as under:-

(a) Input working voltage-180 -270 Volts (b) Nominal Input Voltage - 230 V , AC , 50 Hz,1 (c) On load input power factor - > 0.8 (d) On load unit watt efficiencies-> 80% (e) No load losses of complete charge-< 10% (f) Ripple contents on the load (RMS)= 1% to 5% (g) Over load - 110% for 30 minutes and will give visual indication for over load condition. (h) Boost charging - 2.4 V/Cell . (j) Float charging -2.15 V/Cell (k) Float cum boost charging-Automatically changes from one state to another state as per battery condition and will give the visual indication for either float or boost based on charging mode. S&F in replacement for Danger Notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white , with letters, figures and conventional skull and bobes in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20 cm size including taking down old one complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in replacement Lightening arrestors expulsion type with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 30 kilo Amps suitable for 11000 voltscomplete all as specified & as directed.

Re-Adjustment, Cleaning of Contact, greasing and testing of out door type Air break switch 11 KV, current rating upto 400 Amps for desired alignment to smooth operation from ground level complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for painting with two coat of superior aluminium paint including necessary preparation of surfaces of steel fencing by brushing/cleaning complete steel structure/frame/ gate for 11 KV transformer/2 pole to 8 pole structure/ HT panels/Sub Station above 20 Sqmm area complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and fixing (in replacement) 4 mm dia MS wire 75x75mm mesh, made upto into mattress or cages appx 2.00 m height and fixed with flat iron/angle as per existing by welding in position complete all as specified and directed.
