REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS AND SIGN BOARDS AT AFS MADH ISLAND UNDER GE (AF) THANE

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface exc 50mm deep and n.exc 100mm deep in area n.exc 400 Sqm and removing debris n.exc 50mtr and stacking complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L 75 mm thick (compacted thickness ) WBM with granite coarse aggregate of grading 2 spread rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for surface dressing by spraying evelly paving bitumen at 20Kg/10Sqm, blinding with 12.5mm stone chippings @ 0.14Cum per 10Sqm and rolling to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc applying evenly a priming /tack coat with paving bituminous primer 80/100 grade at 5kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

-ditto all as per item No 4 here in before but WBM surfaces with paving bituminous primer at 10kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete , 25mm consolidated / compacted thickness using Hot Mix plant and machanical paver with 5.5% (paving bitumen 80/100 grade) binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted using 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water ,scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with paving bituminous primer at 5 Kg / 10 sqm putting premixed bituminius macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg/10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for Bituminous premix macadam n.exc 50mm thickness consolidated / compacted thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% ( paving bitumen 80/100 (VG10)) grade binder) content by weight of total mix, laid / rolled and compacted using 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 75 mm wide with 2 mm thick retro reflective thermo plastic paints white or golden yellow including preparation of existing / new surface complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

S&F in repairs ABS dual directional UV protective reflective panels road studs cat eye , made of Plastic Body , of size 90x110x17 mm fixed to the surface with epoxy / bitumen adhesive as per manufacturer's instructions of specified make or equivalent, Amber, Red or white in colour complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix of high intensity prismatic dual directional powder coated delineator having 100mm dia HIP sheet reflector (red/yellow/white) held in strong ABS body mounted over CRC steel tube 47mm dia of 16 gauge sheet support of total height 600mm having flared/welded foot for firm grip to base. HIP reflector and ABS body protected in a welded mesh cage. All steel parts stove enamelled and powder coated. deliniator need to be fixed to ground in 200 x 200x 200 mm concrete block below ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge .
