M&L Taking down defective centrifugal pump set 100 HP capacity by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, suction pipe delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at same location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on full load capacity at least for 8 hrs, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) The spares shall be measured and paid seperately in the relevent items given below. (b) Cost of labour for replacement of spares and transportation are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (c) The pumpset shall be spared for one week for repair from the date of complaint given by AGE/ JE E/M regarding breakdown. The Contractor is responsible for making alternate arrangement of pump set in case of time required more than one week. (d) In case services affected due to delay in repair of pump set, a penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be levied from the contractor. (e) Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than the condition 67 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract. (f) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Taking down defective open well submersible pump set 5 HP to 7.5 HP by disconnecting the pump from motor after unscrewing nuts/ bolts of coupling, foundation, suction pipe delivery pipes and shifting of pump to workshop for repair/ servicing, comprising strip opening of pump, replacement of any defective parts, carrying out necessary lathe work, re-assembling and shifting from workshop to site, re-installation at location as directed by Engr-in-Charge, testing on full load capacity at least for 8 hrs, complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (a) The spares shall be measured and paid seperately in the relevent items given below. (b) Cost of labour for replacement of spares and transportation are deemed to be incl in the quoted rate. (c) The pumpset shall be spared for one week for repair from the date of complaint given by AGE/ JE E/M regarding breakdown. The Contractor is responsible for making alternate arrangement of pump set in case of time required more than one week. (d) In case services affected due to delay in repair of pump set, a penalty of Rs 500 per day will be levied from the contractor. (e) Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 67 of IAFW-2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract. (f) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

M&L for rewinding of open well submersble electrical motor , 3 phase, 415 volts with suitable size of copper enameled winding wire and insulating materials incl disconnecting all electrical connections ,decoupling from pump,taking down the motor from foundation , cleaning and varnishing the stator & rotor winding, heating and drying, replacement of burnt terminals, greasing to bearings, re-assembling the motor and refixing of motor on the foundation by using new nut, bolts and washers, coupling with pump,checking alignment connecting all electrical connections,checking the vibrations, RPM and testing on full load all as directed and specified for the 5 HP to 7.5 HP motor capacity.

M & L for laying/fixing on floor centrifugally cast MS pipe medium grade of size 200 mm dia mm bore conforming to IS 1239 with necessary supports and including consumables and painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coat of synthetic enamel paint including making good the disturbed surfaces of wall/ ceiling etc complete all as directed.

M&L for MS bends,tapers,tee pieces,cross,collars,caps and plugs any type,raducer and angle for pipes up to 200 mm bore confroming to IS-1239 complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for removing the submersible pump set of capacity up to 15 HP including pipes and submersible cables complete from the exisiting bore well of depth up to 200 mtr by any suitable method i.e either manual or vehicle mounted motorized system and disconnecting the pump motor to locate the faults in presence of Engr-in-Charge, transporting to Wksp for carry out repairs, reassembling, lowering to bore well after repairs, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 110 to 150mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Making arrangement to flush out the existing pipe line of any type 160 to 200 mm bore and upto 100m length, applying 4.5 N/sqmm pressure kg/sq cm pressure to remove scalings/ sludges/ other blocking materials to make smooth flow of water including testing all as specified and directed.

Note for item 210 to 212 :- (i) The Contractor is deemed to arrange necessary tools and equipments, removing or alteration of fittings from existing pipe lines, arragement of plugging devices, etc to build up specified pressure required to wash out the pipes. This will be inclusive in quoted rate. (ii) Excavation and earth work required will be measured and paid seperately. (iii) The flushing out will be carried out with fresh filled water of well only duly chlorinated with specified sodium hypochlorite solution to disinfect the pipe lines from all pathogens and Coliform organisms.This will be inclusive in quoted rate.

Excavation in trenches for laying under ground cable, errection of poles and stays etc in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter deep and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Spreading ribbed soil in trenches as in cable cushioning all as per IS 1255-1983, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavated approved soil shall be ribbed by using sieve to separate composite particles etc. as per IS and refilling in trenches before laying of cable 8 CM and 15 CM after laying of cable. This is then gently punned down to a depth of 10 cm above the top of upper most cable (ii) For the purpose of measurement only punned thickness shall be considered for payment.

M & L for Bricks covering with width equal to length of brick as mechanical protection to cable with well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks laid dry flat complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD. (iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down. Supply of pipe shall be measured and paid separately (v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Supply and fix for GI pipe light grade 100 mm dia for cable protection on road crossings /plinth protection fixed to the pole, wall etc along with suitable fittings for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. .

Material and labour in repair for 3 ½ core 240 Sqmm XLPE insulated heavy duty electric cable with aluminium multi stranded conductor 1100 volts grade served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire or tape and overall sheathed laying in trenches/cable ducts, fixed to wall/pole etc complete all as specified and directed. Make:- Havells/ Polycab/ RPG Asian Note - Earthwork and bricks to be paid separately in respective items.

Supply, installation,commissioning and testing of factory assembled ,floor mounted ,free standing type tested LT Feeder pillar panels,with canopy ,as per electrical specifications for outdoor installation to be made of IP65 Polycarbonate modular enclosures. The enclosures made of polycrabonate,should be weather, vermin proof, anti -acid,anti-corrossive,UV resistance in accordance with IEC 61439-1,fire retardant and self extingushing in accordance with IEC 60695-2-11 ,UL subject 94 for flammability V-0, should pass glow wire test for 960 degree in accoardance with 60695-2-11.Degree of protection against mechanical load should be IK08 (5 Joule) in accordance with IEC 62262,IP65 in accordance with IEC-60529 and IEC- 60439-1, should have dielectric properties ,RoHS compliants & Halogen free. The manufacturer of boards/panels shall submit a copy of type test reports as per above mentioned norms either from UL/ERDA/CPRI/NABL labs in india.The panel should be modular and compartmentalized in construction with opaque and transparent doors, properly tight to base with thermoplastic screw having sealing gaskets of extruded silicon rubber to withstand adverse weather effects. The depth of modular enclosuser should be minimum 200mm for air circulation & to minimize temp rise. Panel shall be fitted with one No. of polycarbonate IP 65 9 W LED transperent bulk head luminaire 6500K,PF > 0.95 under canopy for easy maintenance . Panel should be fitted outside with one No. of 16 Amp 3 Pole IP65 industrial socket and 01 No. of 32 Amp 5P IP 65 industrial socket. 3 Phase and neutral 300 Amp current carrying capacity of aluminium bus bar insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeves with SMC/DMC insulators,complete with the following swtich gears and mounting the panel board on ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggreate for bedding upto a height of 45 CM above ground level ,including dismanting and taking out old U/s LT panel board and reconnecting existing LT UG Cable with new panel board, complete all as specified and directed :-

(a) MCCB with thermal magnetic release 4 Pole ,415 V of capacity 200 Amps ,36 KA - 02 Nos (Incomer). (ii) Insulators, bus bar sleeves, lugs, gland etc including complete wiring with suitable size of copper wire are all inclusive in unit quoted rate. (iii) Make of Switch gear : Schneider/L&T/C&S. (iv) MCCB should be ICu =100% ICs. (v) Make of LT Panel/FPB shall be as per mentioned in list of makes (PS).

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising of 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 Amp by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model HTSP 317 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

S&F in repair copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one, complete all as specified and directed. Note : - All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit, complete including taking down, complete all as specified and directed. Make : Model SEPC 250 of SAFE TRODE/ Electrogrip Model/ EGTEK3LC of ISG Global or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ ERICO. Note :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

Material and labour as in repair for Earth pit indicator for existing earthing pit made out of 16 mm dia and 60 cm long MS Square bar embedded in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in PCC block of size 30 X30 X30 cm including CI/MS plate of size 250X300X 3 mm thick fixed on side of earth pit cover complete including painting and writing over the plate ie. Type , Result, Date of measurement and pit number with Black back ground with white letters and complete all as specified and as directed.
