Renovation of Cow Shed Office at Pakka Paroh, Amb, Distt. Una (H.P.)

Hacking / chipping the surface of the existing cement concrete floor manually or by mechanical means to a uniform roughness so as to provide an effective mechanical key for tile adhesive, including removal of all laitance, oil, grease, curing compound and loose material, thorough cleaning and washing down of the surface, and stacking of all chippings clear of the working area, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting, raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster, including removal of loose and hollow plaster, old paint, distemper and putty, scraping and rubbing down the surface with wire brush and emery, and preparing the surface true and even to receive fresh finishes, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Disposal of building rubbish, malba and similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste materials by mechanical means, including loading, transporting and unloading to an approved municipal dumping ground or as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, beyond 50 metres initial lead, for all leads including all lifts involved, and clearing the site of all rubbish and surplus material on completion of the work.

Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), including raking out joints, curing, scaffolding and all incidental works, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Rate to be inclusive of all materials, labour, wastage, carriage, octroi, royalty, malkana, toll tax and G.S.T.

Extra for providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at every third course of half brick masonry, properly anchored into the adjoining masonry, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and constructing civil work to steps comprising first class brick masonry in cement mortar and plain cement concrete 1:4:8 core, rendered and finished true to line and level and made ready in all respects to receive the stone tread and riser finish, including curing, scaffolding, centering and shuttering where required, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying vitrified tiles of size 600 x 600 mm (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08 per cent and conforming to IS 15622, of approved brand and manufacturer, in all colours and shades, in floor, laid over the prepared (hacked, cleaned and washed) existing cement concrete floor with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS 15477 in average 6 mm thickness, including levelling and patch screeding of the existing floor where required to receive the tiles true to line and level, laying to uniform joint width, grouting of joints with matching polymer modified joint filler, cleaning and protecting the finished floor until handing over, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Rate to be inclusive of all materials, labour, wastage, cutting, carriage, octroi, royalty, malkana, toll tax and G.S.T.

Providing and laying vitrified tiles (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08 per cent and conforming to IS 15622, of approved brand and manufacturer, in skirting 150 mm high, cut from the flooring tile of the same make and shade, laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS 15477 in average 6 mm thickness, set true to line with joints in line with the flooring joints, including grouting of joints with matching polymer modified joint filler and cleaning on completion, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying polished granite stone in treads of steps in required design and pattern, all complete as per the architectural drawings, with 18 mm thick machine cut and mirror polished stone slab of approved shade over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointed with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade, including nosing and edge moulding, rubbing, curing and polishing, complete in all respects as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing polished granite stone 18 mm thick, machine cut and mirror polished, of approved shade, in risers of steps, laid on 12 mm (average) thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointed with cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab, set true to line and level, finished flush with the tread nosing, including rubbing, curing and polishing, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
