Providing and laying Polished Granite stone flooring in required design and patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as per the architectural drawings with 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average) thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) laid and jointed with cement slurry and pointing with white cement slurry admixed with pigment of matching shade including rubbing , curing and polishing etc. all complete as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

The rate shall be inclusive of operation and maintenance for twelve months including man power and consumable items complete. The BOQ specified below include the latest relevent standards, specifications, drawing details and the contractor is required to go through them as referred in tender document while quoting the rates. All the samples/ material intended to be used in the works shall be subject to approval before use as the Employer's representative may opt.

Sub-letting of work by the contractor shall only be permitted in accordance with Special Conditions of Contract.

The items indicating one/Zero quantity can also be operated and variation clause shall be applicable as stipulated in GCC / SCC.

The Cable and Cable Containment System specified herein, must confirm to technical Specifications, in addtion to the description given in respective items of BOQ, whether explicitly specified or not. In case of contradiction between specifications and description in BOQ, the most stringent of the condition will apply.

It may be noted that Contractor will be required to carry out cable sizing based on actual cable lengths, as per Working Drawings developed by him and after incorporating any changes in load requirements from the tendering stage. Optimisation must be carried out during cable sizing to reduce the cable requirement and size. Further, Contractor must obtain Engineer's approval on the Cable SIzing Calculation.

Cable Laying in cable trays, walls etc

Supply, laying, testing and commissioning of 1100 V grade, armoured, FRLSH, XLPE, aluminium(AL) / Copper (CU) conductor cables on existing trays/walls/columns/ indoor including the cost of supports with suitable clamps, saddles, hooks, bolts etc. & in ground/trenches including the cost of proper dressing of cables, markers providing identification tags, sand filling etc. (cost of excavation, sand & bricks, included here) earthing of glands armouring etc. complete as per specifications as required and as below.

Cable jointing and termination of cable as per item 1.1 -including cost of supplying and fixing, crimping lugs, double compression brass glands, insulation tape etc. complete as per specifications and as required.

Supply, laying testing and commissioning of 1.5 sqmm 1100 V grade, armoured, FRLS PVC insulated, FRLS PVC sheathed copper conductor cables on existing trays/walls/columns/ indoor/ trenches including the cost of supports with suitable clamps, saddles, hooks, bolts etc. and including the cost of proper dressing of cables and including the cost of providing identification tags etc. complete as per specifications, as required and as below.

Supply, installation and testing of sheet steel raceways in floor, fabricated from 2.0 mm thick GI with minimum coating thickness 260 gm / sq. meter on both sides with removable cover plate complete with counter sunk cadmium plated brass screws, bends, tee-junctions, cross junction etc. rendered electrially continous as approved and of following sizes

Supply & installation of prefabricated, GI, ladder type cable tray conforming to Technical Specifications, continously connected including horizontal & vertical bends reducers, tees, coupling plate, nut bolts washers& all material required for installation i.e Tie Rods, GI angles, Channels, earth link etc conforming to Technical Specifications, complete as required. Supply, fabrication & installation of Hot dipped galvanised Iron(HDGI) cable tray covers (Non-perforated) 50mm deep made out of 1.6 mm thick steel sheet suitable for oerforated and ladder trays including all HDGI accessories like clamp, bolt nut etc. complete as per specifications, as required and as below

Note : Hot Dipped Galvanised Iron (HDGI) suspenders and necessary anchor fasteners or any other fabricated item of any size as approved is included in this item and shall not be paid separately.

Supplying & fixing of rectangular, G.I. Cable trunking of Following sizes including pull boxes as required at site, 2 mm thick, as specified in Technical specifications, with removable cover throughout its length with center-screw latch fixing, or quick-fixing device to the Engineers approval, earthing arrangement including provision of earthing strips at joints etc. complete as required.

Providing 2 hour fire rating with PROMASEAL Bulkhead Sealer system as per IS1530:Part 4 and BS: 476 Part 20 to seal the opening required to passage of cable, cable trays, ducts, MS pipes etc. through walls/slabs – Comprising of one layers of 100mm thick, 120kg density rock wool panels tightly sealed and coated with 1 mm of PROMASEAL Bulkhead Sealer. The layers of coating is also extended to 50mm into the adjoining wall/slabs and 100mm on cables to achieve 2 hour fire rating as per BS: 476 part-20: 1987. All the Joints are filled with Promaseal An Acrylic Sealant.

Bus Trunking

Supply, installation & testing of 25 A, Copper, Lighting Bus Trunking System in easy detachable and conveninet assembly suitable for 415 +-10% Volts, 3 Phase+ + Neutral, 8 Wire, 50 Hz A C System with Cu Bus Conductors of minimum 2.5 sq mm section and stainless steel / hot galvanised steel enclosure, with tap off provision every 0.5 mtr. The Lighting Bus Trunking shall be confirming to latest IEC Standards. It shall be with IP-55 Protection, halogen free and Fault Level Withstand Capacity of 2.5 kA min for 0.1 Sec (Icw) and 9.6 kA (Ipk). The Bus Trunking shall be complete with accessies like supporting clamps for Installation at Site, Fixing Clamps for lumanaries etc.

TOTAL E.03 - MV CABLING

Whether explicitly stated in the schedules below or not, the following must be complied with:

Supplying all materials, storing, handling, fixing, laying wiring and testing for light, fan, exhaust fan and 6A Socket points etc starting from the point control box to the point by using 2.5 sq.mm 1100 volts grade FRLHS stranded copper conductor in concealed GI Stove enamelled 16 gauge conduit including 2mm thick GI boxes, fan regulator boxes, together with wiring accessories such as 6A moulded flush mounted modular switches, sockets in boxes of suitable sizes including circuit wiring with 2 x 2.5 sq.mm 1100 volts grade FRLHS PVC insulated stranded copper conductor along with one run of 2.5 sq.mm PVC insulated (green colour) stranded earth wire complete with earthing of fixtures, sockets and boxes. PVC bushes for conduits ends, chrome-plated brass screws, identification ferrules at either ends complete in all respects as per standard specifications.

Note: Lights, fans and 6 amps socket outlets may be wired on a common circuit, and circuit shall not have more than ten points of light, fans and 6 amps sockets or a load of 800 watts whichever is less.

Switch Controlled Primary Light Points
