Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion conforming to IS:8887, using emulsion pressure distributer including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom. With medium setting bitumen emulsion including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) On bituminous surface @ 0.25kg/sqm (zero point two five kilogram/ square metre).
Providing and laying bituminous concrete 30 mm (thirty milimetre ) thick with 100-120 (one hunderd -one hundred twenty ) TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 ( seventy five ) tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.4 to 5.6 ( five point four to five point six) per cent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 509 (five hundred nine ) complete in all respects including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying Bitumen Penelration Macadam with hard stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified, with bitumen of suitable penetration grade, including required key aggregate as specified, spreading coarse aggregate with the help of self propelled/ tipper tail mounted aggregate spreader and applying bitumen by a pressure distributor and then spreading key aggregate with the help of aggregate spreader complete, including consolidation with road roller of minimum 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve specified values of compaction and surface accuracy including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (a) For 50mm compacted thickness using coarse aggregate of size 50-20mm graded @ 0.60 cum per sqm key aggregate of size 12.5mm graded @ 0.15 cum per 10 sqm. With paving asphalt grade VG-10 @ 50 kg./10 Sqm.
