Outsourcing of services to operate DG Set any make and model, Control panel , LT panel by employing one skilled operator(FGM) per shift in three shift per day with shift timings 06.00 to 14.00hrs, 14.00 to 22.00hrs and 22.00 to 06.00hrs including sundays and holidays and maintenance of log sheet and day to day maintenance of DG set, control panel of following capcity all as specified and directed. (a) 250KVA at CEAD Technical area (b) 500KVA APD at Technical area. Engine Make :Cummins Alternator make : Stamford (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to minimum wages as per Min of Labour & Employment in Cat "A Area" in construction or Maintenance employment included all statuary as applicable such as all taxes as applicable including GST, EPF, ESIC, Bonus and anticipiated effect due to increase in wages during the contract period etc. (ii) In case the rates quoted by tenderrer are less than the rate mentioned as per latest wages act issued by GOI, his tender will be treated as non- bonafied and will not be considered for Acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined amongest valid/bonafide bids only

(a) 500KVA & 250KVA DG Set at Design House/MI Room at Technical area. Engine Make :Cummins Alternator make : Stamford (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to minimum wages as per Min of Labour & Employment in Cat "A Area" in construction or Maintenance employment included all statuary as applicable such as all taxes as applicable including GST, EPF, ESIC, Bonus and anticipiated effect due to increase in wages during the contract period etc. (ii) In case the rates quoted by tenderrer are less than the rate mentioned as per latest wages act issued by GOI, his tender will be treated as non- bonafied and will not be considered for Acceptance. Engine Make :Cummins Alternator make : Stamford (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to minimum wages as per Min of Labour & Employment in Cat "A Area" in construction or Maintenance employment included all statuary as applicable such as all taxes as applicable including GST, EPF, ESIC, Bonus and anticipiated effect due to increase in wages during the contract period etc. (ii) In case the rates quoted by tenderrer are less than the rate mentioned as per latest wages act issued by GOI, his tender will be treated as non- bonafied and will not be considered for Acceptance. Note for item 01 to 03 : (i) Diesel issued under Schedule 'B' for free for supply. Rate quoted includes the cost of Transportation of Diesel issued by the department within the CVRDE Area (ii) Routine check of Engine/Alternator the daily . (iii) Maint of batteries and apply of petrolium jelly and topping up of distilled water. (iv) Daily cleaning of DG set complete and area cleaning all around the DG set includes cutting of vegetation, grass etc. (v) Replace minor parts Indication lamps, push button, bolt, nuts etc etc (vi) Check belt tension regularly (vii) Check cooling fan, radiator water level, hoses.(vii) Check lub oil level, coolant levels regularly. (viii) Maintenance of log sheet. (ix) Checking of battery voltage regularly and battery charging unit. (x) It is the responsibility of Conrtactor to ensure that attendance register is maintained duly signed kept on record and payment of tradesman for the no of days present will only be made.In case the person not found on duty for a day or part there of due to any reason what so ever , Rs 1000/- for each shift will be recovered. (xi) M&O staff will wear uniform of Black Pant and Light Grey Shirt provided by contractor during duty hours as approved by Engr in Charge. (xii) The rate quoted by the tenderer shall be deemed Accident Insurance of the working persons during working hours.(xiii) Proper duty rosters to be displayed at each installation and attendence register shall be maintained duly signed by JE E/M , Engr-in-Charge & Contractor . (xiv) The contractor should procure all the safety equipments what ever is required for smooth operation and maintanance works for FGM.

(xv) The quoted rate is deemed to include for all surrounding premises cleaning such as inside & outside the DG SET ROOM /CANOPY including cutting of grass shrubs etc upto 5 mtr distance from DG SET ROOM /CANOPY and always to keep neat and tidy . The cleaning / cutting / sweeping aids should be provided by the contractor at all the above places. Whenever any visiting officer visits, the site must be clean in all respect. In case any bad/adverse remarks given by any visiting officer at any time, the necessary recovery for rectification of the same will be deducted from the contractorar as certified by Engr-in -charge and no claim whatsoever is admissible on the account. AGE(I) R&D AVADI 's decision is final and binding on the account.
