Material and labour for Surface excavation n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces using Power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceding 12 tonne, in cutting, filling in hollows and depressions with approved earth, including watering as necessary and consolidating to the required level, gradient or camber, keeping roller wheels wet and provision of water, animals, drivers, crew, fuel, labour, tools, etc. for consolidating complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber, spread thickness of soling 150 mm, Rolling and consolidating Soling of broken boulders or quarried stone, not exc 15cm thickness, using Power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceding 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 15cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, in two layers of 7.5cm each, using and including coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), each layer spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required, Rolling and consolidating each layer of Water bound macadam (except laterite, kankar and broken brick aggregates) using Power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceding 12 tonne, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing of un-surfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and sand finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at 10 kg per 10 sq metre using Mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 at 5 kg per 10 sq metre using Mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) The quoted rate shall be worked out on the basis of binder contents (bitumen VG-30) of 4% by weight of total mix. (ii) Work shall be executed as per design mix as approved by GE with 4% VG-30 bitumen by weight of total mix.

Material and labour for providing Bituminous semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix, using Paving bitumen VG-30, any penetration, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- The work of Bituminous semi -dense asphaltic concrete shall be done using HOT MIX PLANT and laying of Bituminous semi-dense asphaltic concrete shall be done using MECHANICAL PAVER only.

M&L for providing precast cement concrete coloured Kerb stones of size 300mm long, 100mm wide and 150mm deep, machine pressed, factory made, cement concrete Type A-1, 1:1.5:3 (20mm grade stone aggregates) and laid and jointed in CM 1:6, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site.

Material and labour for preparation of NEW bituminus surfaces of road including cleaning of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and foreign material and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads, pavements and the like n.exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow and with adequate No. of coats, all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
