Development and maintenance of Lawn, Hedge Plants, Trees, Nursery and Horticulture works at Infrastructure area of FRFCF Project site for the year 2024-25 at Kalpakkam

Area cleaning in and around the site by cleaning the bushes, debris, fallen trees, waste materials, garbages etc., collecting, conveying and disposing the same at places as shown by the department with a lead of 2Km all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Collection, supplying and stacking good quality Red earth without stones, gravel etc., and stacking for premeasurement at places as shown by Engineer for taking premeasurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Collection, supplying and stacking of Decomposed dry farmyard manure without undesirable materials, stacking the same at places as shown by Engineer for taking premeasurements including spreading the same at places shown with a lead upto 100metres and filling in pits etc., complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area by watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. The area not maintained by contractor is deducted then and there. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 20 Paise / Sq.m. will be levied as penalty from RA Bill 6. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 1500 sq. m / day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 7. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during thier working hours.

Planting the plants / saplings in required site taken from nursery, including formation of pits, spreading & filling of red earth and farm yard manure to an average thickness of 50mm, conveyance from nursery, planting and initial watering all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The rate shall excluding the cost of red earth and farm yard manure used for planting operation.

Supplying and planting plants / saplings of good quality & healthy appearance with blooming nature etc., including excavation, transportation, planting and initial watering all as per standard practice and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: In FRFCF Plant site fallen trees shall be disposed to the disposal yard .

Note: The pesticides / fungicides / growth regulators shall be used at the rate of 0.06 ml/sq.m. and as directed by the manufacturer specification.

Supply and spreading of Fertilizer (urea), neem cake including cost of fertilizer and neem cake etc., all as per specification for Orchard plants / trees at the rate of 0.01kg/Sqm for fertilizer and 0.005kg/Sqm of neem cake, all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and spreading of Vermicompost including cost etc. all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying the following sizes PVC water supply line with 'Finolex / Varun / Truebore' or approved equivalent make PVC pipes suitable for 6 kg/sq.cm pressure and specials conforming & marked to IS:4985 including jointing with PVC jointing compound, laying and fixing the pipes in the excavated trenches, cost of all types of specials such as tees, reducers, coupler, reducing bushes, threaded adaptor, elbow, tail pieces, caps etc., and testing the line as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Operation of Garden water supply pumps located in different areas of FRFCF including operating regulation valves and different sector of garden network, monitoring water level in the wells to avoid dry run of motor and cleaning the pumps, pump room, etc., complete.as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The Contractor has to engage minimum of 1 operator general shift timing 9.00 to 17.30 hours every day throughout the contract period excluding holidays. If any shortfall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate specified in Tender document shall be deducted from the RA bills.

Rectifying the PVC pipe line burst of the following dia of water line by removing the damaged portion of PVC pipes, replacing with new pipes and restoring the water supply including cutting the damaged pipes, cleaning / scrubbing the surface, fixing the new pipe with necessary solvent cement of approved make etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: Cost for PVC pipe and specials will be paid separately under relevant item.)

Note: 1) The rates in respect of this Item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil, 30% in respect of debris and dried palm leaves and @ 50% in respect of leaves branches of trees etc from the corresponding Stack / Truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the Dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Lead charges for lead Exceeding 2 kilometre but not exceeding 3 kilometre

Development of lawn including 150mm digging and levelling the surface of the earth, area cleaning, collection, supply & planting Mexican / Korean grass of good quality including conveyance, cost of Mexican / Korean grass and plants etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dibbling - Without supply of Grass Note : 1) Excavation for replantation, Red earth, Manure will be paid under separate items. 2) Stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 1 km lead, including loading & Transporting, Labour charges etc,.3) Initial Watering to the replantated lawn / green grass is under the scope of contractor

Maintenance of Nursery including watering the plants, mixing garden earth manure, filling pits, preparing potted plants sowing seeds, interculturing propagating seedling and new saplings in polythene bags, transferring it to potted plants later, removing weeds, trimming , Sweeping concrete / patyhway and including disposing of unwanted vegetations etc., transporting the cut branches through contractor's own tractors to dumping yard and disposing them as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of tractor and labour for transporting of cut leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening or nursery etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. The area not maintained by contractor is deducted then and there. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Pruners,Hoe,Wheelbarrow,etc., 5. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 person for 800 sq. m / day throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 6. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during thier working hours.

Arrangement of flower pots monthly two times for various / buildings in FRFCF area including loading / unloading, watering the plants daily and maintaining them in the nursery and in buildings etc., and Arrangement of variety of flowers in flower vases three times in a week and placing the same at various rooms, etc., in variuos places inside FRFCF including picking the flowers from department nursery, placing in vases, removing and disposal of flowers, refilling of water inside the vase, etc.,as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. complete. Note: 1.The rate shall include the cost of labour for transporting the flower pots . 2. The contractor shall engage minimum 3 person daily for shifting flower pots throughout the month as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum number of labour will attract the penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 3.The rate shall include the cost of picking the flowers from department nursery .

Removing & replantation of existing Palm trees of 0.9m to 1.2 m girth to a height of minimium 3m including excavation, uprooting, transporting, & replanting the same with a lead of 2 KM as directed by the Engineer -in-charge and all manual/machineries charges etc., all as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. Note : 1) Excavation for replantation, Red earth, Manure will be paid under separate items. 2) Stacking of serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within 1 km lead, including loading & Transporting, Labour charges etc,. 3) Initial Watering to the replantation is under the scope of contractor
