M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n. exc 400 sqm and exc 50mm and n. exc 100mm deep complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premixed Bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with broken stone aggregate with 4% of bitumen binder of any viscosity grade by weight of total mix (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of unsurfaced WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen @ 10 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned black top surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen @ 5 Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Repairs to pot holes exceeding 30 mm depth,area not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen 5 kg /10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg /10 Sqm binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and laid with Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 on roads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermoplastic material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
