Sch A Part VI (Miscellaneous Items of B/R and E/M)

Design, fabrication , supply and erecting, Pre-engineered building steel structure for provision of Aircraft shelter of size 30.00 X 25.00 X 10.0 M (clear height) using Galvalume or Zincalume profiled colour coated steel sheet 0.60mm total thickness (with coating and priming) as in roofing all as specified , including foundation with RCC (M-30 design mix) on existing tarmac and excavation and earth work with the following design parameters all as specified and vetted design and drawing by any IIT and approved by Accepting officer with permanent specification complete all as specified and as shown on drawings. :- (i) Frame type - Pre Engineered Building (ii) Size - 30.00 X 25.00 X 10.0 M (clear height at eves level) (iii) Gutter and rain spouts :- 0.5 M width valley gutter made out of curved 2 mm thick GI sheet for full length of shelter including necessary down pipes of UPVC of dia 160 mm. (iv) Painting : All built up frame / HR section, Purlins / gifts/ Bracing / Rafter shall be painted with camouflage pattern, paint of user approved choice. (v) Foundation : The foundation work etc shall be M30 design mix concrete alongwith earth work. (vi) Bird proofing will be of 0.5 mm. Bird proofing should be rivetted to obviate potential FOD damage. (vii) Anti corrison treatment and painting as per IS 1477 Part 1 & 2

M&L for 200 mm compacted thickness granular sub base (GSB) using graded stone aggregate 40mm to 63mm size intertices filled laid in two uniform layers of 100 mm spread thickness each layer compacted, watered, rolled and consolidated to a true surface to required gradient and camber as required by using 8 to 12 tonne vibratory roller to achieve desired density complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Quoted rate shall be for 200 mm compacted thickness.

M&L for 200mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM laid in 2 layers of 100 mm thick (compacted thickness ) each layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required including necessary lateral support and form work, if required using crushed stone aggregate of maximum size 40mm of grading as specified type igneous rock such as granite/trap/basalt etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Quoted rate shall be for 200 mm compacted thickness.

M&L for 150 mm thick dry lean concrete (DLC) with 7 days compressive strength as 10 N/Sqmm with minimum cement (OPC) content 250 Kg / Cum of concrete including form work if required and rolling complete to achieve desired density and strength complete all as specified and directed. Note: In case of increase in cement content as per design mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rates are deemed to include for the same.

M&L for 10 mm thick layer of sand including rolling over DLC complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 400 micron polythene film sheet as per IS: 2508 over sand layer complete all as specified and directed. Note:-(i) Side lap of 150 mm and end lap of 300 mm shall be provided wherever required. The rate quoted shall be deemed included for the laps. (ii) Clear flat area after providing sheet shall be considered for payment purpose and nothing extra shall be allowed for laps.

M&L for 300 mm thick pavement quality concrete (PQC) as per design mix using crushed stone aggregate having minimum field flexural strength of 45 Kg/Sq cm in pavement using with and including non circular/triangular synthetic fibre as per manufacturer’s instructions @0.25 % by weight of cement ( min cement content shall be 400 Kg / cum using OPC) laid to level, gradient and camber, spread. paved, campacted & finished using fixed form paver including necessary form work & brooming complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) In case of increase in cement content as per design mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. (ii) Non circular / triangle fibre to be measured and paid separately. (iii) 04 Nos metallic chock plate will be provided by User & to be fixed by the contractor. (iv) Rates quoted by contractor will be deemed to include the above aspects.

M&L for forming 25 mm wide expansion joints to full depth of pavement concrete slab as per shape and section shown on drawing (depth of slab 300 mm) and primed and filled with compressible closed cell premoulded high performance joint filler board HD-100 (Sil Flex Dura board HD 100 of Supreme make or equivalent of Elcon or any other make as approved by E in C' Branch ) and provision of closed cell polyethylene back up rod 30 mm dia , and top 10 mm primed and sealed with and using polyurethane based sealing compound (Polyurethane joint sealant) with suitable primer as per manufacturer's recommendation complete all as shown on drawing and specified and as directed with minimum MAF± 30 % (with ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealent and removing the masking tape after sealent is applied by mechanical means complete all as specified and shown on drawing including cutting edge of existing pavements for forming expansion joints between existing and proposed slab, if required . Note : (i) Expansion joints shall be provided at spacing not exceeding 36 m as directed by GE. The expansion joint s shall be cut to full depth and shall be formed as described here in above at locations directed by GE, if the slabs are casted for longer lengths. The cost of full depth cuttting as required for forming expansion joints at such locations shall also be deemed included in the contractor's quoted rate for above item. (ii) Filling of joints shall be done by a mechanized system. (iii) Cost of Compressible filler board shall be deemed to be included in this rate.

M & L for forming contration/dummy joint cutting with diamond cutter to a depth of 95 mm and 8 mm wide , primed and providing a 10 mm dia polyethylene back up rod and top 13 mm primed and sealed with and using polyurethane based sealing compound ( polyurethane joint sealant) with suitable primer as per manufacturer's recommendations including minimum MAF ± 30 % (with ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed and shown on drawing.

M & L for forming construction joint 25mm deep and 10 mm wide (using diamond cutter ), primed and providing a 12mm dia polystyrene back up rod/debonding strip and top 13mm primed and sealed and using polyurethane based sealing compound and primer of specified make as per manufacturer's recommendation complete all as specified and shown on drawing.

M & L for preparation of surfaces and applying two coats of road marking paint, water based, of approved colour, on surfaces of concrete pavement / roads exc 10 cm wide and painting lines,centre line marking,edge marking,threshold marking, dashes,arrows letters etc for runways,aprons,taxiways etc in such a way that lower surface texture is not visible complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Polyester non circular/triangular synthetic fibres 0.25% by weight of cement ,6/12mm long with circum circle diametre 30-35 micron, designed for melting point of 240-260 degree Centigrade and having specific gravity of 1.34 to 1.40 complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of plain cement concrete (unreinforced) of any mix / grade of ground floor and paving not exceeding 30 cm thickness (below or above ground level) including removal of debris to a distance exc. 1.5 Km but n.exc. 5 Km complete all as specified & directed .

S&F Sub main wiring using two runs of single core PVC insulated, unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable of size 2 x 6 .0 Sq.mm of voltage rating 1100V & drawn in and including concealed PVC conduit of dia not less than 20mm with standard accessories, alongwith one run of PVC (green colour) insulated, unsheathed, stranded copper conductor of size 1 x 6.0 Sq.mm as earth continuity conductor complete all as specified and directed. Note-Two runs of single core PVC cable 6.0 Sq.mm with one run of 6.0 Sq.mm as earth wire conductor and conduit shall be measured as one unit.

Supply, installing, commissioning and testing complete of manufacturer or OEM (Original equipment Manufacturer) manufatured and tested silent static Diesel Engine driven generating set capable of delivering 35 KVA continuous rating, 10% overload for 1 hour in 12 hours of operation, 415 volts (AC 3 phase, 4 wire system of supply), 50 Hz at power factor 0.8 minimum. The DG set shall consist of a diesel engine coupled directly to a matching alternator, and mounted on Dunlop metallastik foundation pads on a common base frame and thereafter installed in the CPCB approved acoustic enclosure complete with control panel standardised by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangement and inlet, outlet, return oil arrangement, flexible exhaust pipe complete all as specified and shall comprises of the following :- (i) Engine (prime mover) : Diesel engine 1500 RPM, 56 BHP, fluid cooled, turbo changed, volts electric 01 number maintenance free batteries, complete with fly wheel and vibration damper, radiator and all standard fittings/fixtures as per standard manufacturing design practices and including suitable instrument panel with RPM meter, lubricant oil temperature & pressure gauge, water temperature gauge and freqency meter (digital type), battery charging ammeter and fuses, and also including self starter (12V), battery charging alternator, fuel tank etc and complete with HWT & LLOP alarm and shut down safeties.

(ii) Alternator : AC alternator, brushless, 415V, AC 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire type, rated for continuous output of 35 KVA, PF 0.8, 1500 RPM, insulation class 'H' enclosure SPDP (IP 23), self excited & self regulated with AVR for +1% voltage regulation, coupled directly/suitably to and to match the above engine. (iii) Base plate : Made out of structural steel as per manufacturer's recommended design/specifications. (iv) Fuel tank : Fuel tank shall be of 24 hours capacity, made of 14 Gauge CRCA MS sheet, duly powder coated and provided with level indicator, draining plug, air vent float, gauge and fuel float switch. (v) Safeties : for high enclosures temperature and emergency shut-down from outside. 01 number, 150 AH, 12V lead acid batteries and adequate size copper conductor cable leads. (vi) Engine control panel : Made of 14 gauge CRCA MS sheet, dust and vermin proof, (protection class IP 41 or superior), duly fitted with the equipment/ metres specified in particular specifications. (vii) Automatic mains failure (AMF) control panel fabricated from minimum 14 gauge CRCA steel sheet (including CPRI type certified), dust & vermin proof, protection class IP -54 suitable for 35 KVA, 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, AC supply system with single phase protection including adequate layers of powder coating floor mounting type with front opening, & panel shall comprises of all necessary accessories as per design by Manufacturer or OEM. (viii) Platform/Plinth/Base shall be provided as per manufacturers recommendations. Cost of the same shall deemed to be included in this item of work.

(ix) Tool kit : Operation and Maintenance catalogue, 1 year spare part list, overhauling manuals, guarantee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer standard practices. (x) Protection : Over load relay, Earth fault Relay, Under Volt release – 01 No each Make of Engine : Cummins/ Kirloskar/Crompton Greaves, Make of Alternator : Kirloskar/ Stamford/ Greaves Crompton.

Disconnecting the cable connection including control panel for high mast and taking down carefully the existing serviceable high Mast light fitting (Set of 9 fittings) with High Mast pole of 12 Metre from their PCC plateform & foundation and mounting, fixing & erecting vertically to another location n.exc. the distance of 500 mtr from existing location alongwith control panel including connecting, testing of high mast light fitting & control panel complete all as specified & directed including consisting the following works:- (a) Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide & 1.57 mtr deep for pole foundation & getting out in soft/loose soil, returning filling in the excavated of soil after fixing the pole in foundation ramming earth around in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs complete all as specified and directed. (b) M&L for PCC 1:3:6, type C2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundation of size 2000mmx2000mm and depth 3000mm below ground leveland 500 mm above ground level for encasing the pole complete all as specified and directed (c) M&L for rendering in CM(1:4) on external surface of plateform and painting with 2 coat of SE paint over a coat of primer on control panel. (d) Necessary grouting of pipe for passing the cable etc all as specified & directed. (Note:- Cost of all minor & greasing of cable / motor / rope & transportation charges from existing location to another location are deemed to be included in the quoted rate. Contractor are required to quote their rate accordingly.

M&L for taking out of old existing MES cables of size upto 95 Sqmm 3.5 core, 1100 Volts grade, LT armoured (bunch of 02 runs of any sizes), from directed location and to be shifted to another directed location . Note:- Required earth work shall be measured under respective item of Schedule 'A' Part- V
