Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing ,ading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. Depth of excavation not exceeding 1500 mm

Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity) (B) Do - by fine sand

Supplying and laying Polythene Sheet (150gm / sq.m.) over damp proof course or below flooring or roof terracing or in foundation or in foundation trenches

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mmnominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. Pakur Variety.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. Pakur Variety.

Furnishing and Placing Reinforced / Pre-stressed Cement concrete in Super-structure with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement and admixtures, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete as per drawing and technical specification including the cost of necessary form work and staging complete. as per drawing and technical specifications. C. RCC Grade M 30 I. Using Concrete Mixer (i) For solid slab super-structure, a) Height upto 5m.

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Bridge Super-structure includingi nitial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications. Note: The rate provided is exclusive of cost of steel materials. Construction wing should add cost & carriage of 1.05 MT (considering 5% wastage) of steel materials to arrive at the final consolidated item rate.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor). 25 mm to 30 mm thick wooden shu ttering as per decision & direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor).[Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface] (ii) With 1:4 cement mortar (b) 15 mm thick plaster

Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick in wall, dado, window sill, floor etc. NOTE:Cement 0.152 cu.m per100 sq.m.

Precast cement concrete blocks or lining units as per designed size and specification, with well graded stone metal aggregate, including dressing, ramming, shuttering, finishing the top surface with 1:3 cement and sand mortar, curing, transporting and laying the blocks or lining units at worksite in position, over filter, layer, keeping a gap of 6mm between the adjacent units, by sue of removable plyboards or non removable thermocol boards, with all leads and lifts, including supply and carriage of all materials complete. (The rate is exclusive of the cost of stone aggregate and its carriage upto site. Construction wing has to add the cost of same from the SoR of PW (Roads) to derive the consolidated rate. Consumption chart of the USoR may be used for assessing the quantity of coarse aggregates per cum of concrete). With Stone Aggregate (Pakur, North Bengal or Rajmahal varieties) b) Nominal Mix. 1:1.5:3 with 20 mm down coarse aggregate.

Earthwork in excavation in the canals / drainage channels / borrow pits / River bed / slope of bank as noted below as per designed section & throwing the spoils in layers of 25 cm. for making banks as per profile or to deposit the same in any other place within an initial lead of 30 metre and initial lift of 1.5 metre including breaking clods, rough dressing etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge Ordinary soil / local soil / soil mixed with moorum or kankar / silt, dry or moist / slushy silt / sticky soil.

Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds, bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
