Earthing complete with galvanized steel plate elecrode of size 60 cm x 60cm x 6.0 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.5 mtr below the ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level. Earth plate surrounded by 15mm thick packed alternative layers of charcoal dust and comman salt, earth lead GI wire of 4mm dia (8 SWG) by means of bolts , nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron with thimbles. The other end of GI earth wire is connected to main switch board and protected by light grade GI pipe of 15 mm bore. provision of 20mm bore light grade GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh. Pipe shall be provided vertically upto top level of earth pit and then taken horrizontally to the earth pit. Cement concrete chamber of PCC ( 1:3:6 ) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate.The chamber shall be constructed one metre away from edge of earth pit. 50 mm thick pre cast cover of cement conrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, excavation in soft / loose soil, returning filling and removal of surplus soil to a distance of 50 mm as directed and shown in Electrical Plate No- 3 of SSR Part-1 (2009)

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 25 sqmm 4 core complete all as specified and direced by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth for taking out and laying UG cable and getting out, excavated earth, forming bottom surfaces to required level complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning in trenches for UG cables all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm complete all as specified.

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc.1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and direced by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour Bricks (Size 23x11.5x7.5 cm) common burnt clay building bricks, sub-class ‘B’ designation 75 laid dry width wise acrose the line of cable in trenches for protection of UG cable complete all as specified and direced by Engr-in-Charge.

Mild steel galvanised iron pipe light grade (ISI marked) 40mm bore for passing of earth lead laid in trenches fixed to walls laid under floors, roads including all fittings i.e MS clamps nuts & bolts etc as required all as specified.
