YARD METALLING & MOORUM SPREADING: A sketch depicting these details is enclosed herewith .Yard metalling shall be executed using curb-stone of size 450x600x75 mm size.Switchyard area (covering buses ,power transformer ,station transformer,breakers,Isolator,capacitor bank,Lightning arresters ,gantry structure at 33 KV as well at 11 KV side etc.) is to be cleaned ,leveled and filled with 120mm thick layer of moorum followed by 80 mm bed of hard metal stone 40 mm size.The stone should not have stone dust /particles of less than defined size.The metal should be of best quality .Before filling surface should be cleaned and leveled.Gravel filling shall be up to one meter beyond the structure gantry area.Before providing gravel on the leveled surface ,employer's clearance must be obtained by the contractor .suitable measure may be taken to stop possibillity of spreading of stone beyond defined area may be by means of providing curb stone (450x600x75 mm) As per enclosed drwaing no.4

MS MAIN GATE AND WICKET GATE ON RCC COLUMN MS gate is to be provided at each substation as per drawing .The gate is to be fixed on 2 Nos.cement concrete RCC pillars 400x400mm size provided with 6 Nos.12 mm dia.tor steel reinforcement and 8 mm dia tor steel rings at 150 mmc/c.The height of piller will be 2400mm above ground level. Depth of the foundation for footing will be rest 2.50M.or up to suitable strata as per requiredsafe bearing capacity will be 2 meters.The centrally open able gate will be of length 4000mm.The gate will be made of 50x50 mm MS hollow pipe frame of heavy sectin ,10 mm square bars 100 mm c/c,2 mm thick CRCA sheet welded with 50x50mm MS hollow pipe .The name "Madhya Pradesh Paschim kshetra vidyut vitaran company limited"will be depicted on the sheet in hindi.Entire gate structure shall be de-rusted and painted using wire brush and emery paper etc.The surface shall be cleaned and painted with two or more coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer paint using painted brush,on smooth surface finish ,two or more coats of aluminium paint using painting brush shall be applied till final smooth surface finish and even shade on surface appears.The name MPPKVV CO.
