E-Tender for Annual Afloat repair of SL Rihand at Patna (NW-1) for the year 2025-26

Amount

Fairing and cropping of damaged railing pipes, MS flat bar stands, and ladder steps (forward and aft) are to be carried out. The same shall be straightened, welded, and fitted with necessary nut-bolts. Railing sections are to be cut and adjusted as required. All work is to be executed including labour and material cost, under the supervision and direction of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC).

The polyvinyl sheet and cement flooring in the Officer’s Cabin (11 ft x 7 ft, 2” thick) and the Wheel House (12 ft 9” x 11 ft 10.5”) are damaged and tobe renewed using reputed brand polyvinyl sheets after proper cementing, under the supervision/direction of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)

Servicing of the fresh water pump and GS pumps (02 Nos), including their motors, to be carried out as per the supervision and direction of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)

The engine throttle remote control systems for both port and starboard sides, including the clutch and accelerator units for engaging/disengaging, and the engine telegraph panels in both the wheelhouse and engine room are non-functional and to be made fully operational under the supervision/direction of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC).

All AC/DC electrical lines, distribution boxes, main generator switchboard, Hertz meter, and electric horn are to be checked in the wheel house, cabins, anchor light, toilets, engine room, and other locations. Bed lights, emergency lights, DC lights, navigation lights, flood lights, and search lights are to be inspected, and if the water seal is damaged, it to be repaired or replaced. Additionally, switches, sockets, switchboards, and electrical panel boards in the engine room are to be checked. A total of 08 crew fans,02 nos blowers of engine room and 05 nos exhaust defective are to be checked and serviced/repaired / replaced, if required. All works to be carrid out under the supervision and direction of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)

The VHF set (RT-2048) and PA system (Ahuja microphone set) are defective and are to be repaired/renewed as per the supervision/direction of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)

A total of 13 taps in the officer's bathroom, washroom, and crew bathroom are found defective and are to be serviced or replaced as required, under the supervision and direction of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)

The damaged wooden platform (table-top) in the kitchen room is to be renewed by fabricating a new wooden frame and covering the top with aluminum sheet / granite / marble / ceramic ( size: 2' x 6'), along with installation of a new kitchen chimney of appropriate size, as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)

The steel canopy sheds on the forward side (13.5 ft × 13 ft) and aft side (10.6 ft × 12.2 ft) of the upper deck are found to be cracked/torn and are leaking.Same to be repaired or renewed, as required, using good-quality colour-coated corrugated metal sheets, appropriate fasteners, and all necessary materials, under the supervision of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)

The sewage pump and its motor are not functioning properly and are to be serviced. Two numbers (02 nos) of 25mm suction valves on the sewage tank are defective and to be checked, tested, and serviced. If found unserviceable, the valves to be renewed as per the instructions of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC)

The two wooden doors and its frames in the wheel house damage, are to be replaced with aluminium frame and ACP sheet, . The ceiling plywood in the wheel house (size: 4 ft × 5 ft) and Officer cabin is to be renewed. Replacement of damaged wooden and sunmica sheet is required for the following: Survey tables (sizes: 4.5 ft × 2 ft and 4 ft × 4 ft) Surveyor dining table (size: 4 ft × 2.5 ft) Crew dining table (size: 4 ft × 2.5 ft) The roller wheels of 16 Officersc hairs in the wheel house are damaged and to be replaced. Crew cabin and toilet doors, along with other wooden furniture, door fittings, locks, lockers, almirahs, and associated valves, are to be checked and repaired or renewed, as required. All work tobe carried out under the supervision and direction of the IRS/IWT Surveyor and the Engineer-in-Charge (EIC) and EIC.
