Floral Beautifications of Prominent Places- Junctions in Srinagar City.

a. Preparation of beds for plantation of flowering Annuals/Bulbs/Corms by excavating 60 cm deep and trenching the excavated base to a further depth of 30 cm, refilling the excavated earth after breaking the clods and mixing with sludge or manure in the ration of 8:1 (8 parts of stacked volume of earth after reduction by 20% : 1 part of stacked volume of sludge or manure after reduction by 8 %), flooding with water, filling with the earth if necessary, watering and finally fine dressing, leveling etc. including stacking & disposal of materials declared unserviceable and surplus earth by spreading and leveling as directed, within a lead of 50 mtr. and lift upto 1.5 mtr. complete (cost of sludge, manure or extra earth to be paid for separately) b. Providing, supplying and planting of F1 Hybrids at flower bud stage, ready to bloom, well developped root system contained in a polybag as per the seasonal requirements or as directed by the officer in-charge. For Flowers with Blooming Period March- May planted at a varying spacing of 150mm to 200 mm c/c. Pansy (Viola tricolour) Dianthus (Dianthus Chinensis) Stock (Matthiola Incana) Antirrhinum (Sanpdragon) (Antirrhinum Majus) Alyssum (Lobularia maritima) to be planted by First week of March.

Providing of Pits1.5ft*1.5ft. soil to be replaced with vermicompost, sand and good quality soil in 1:1:1 ratio before planting.

Providing of edging plants on edges (9inch*9inch) soil to be worked thoroughly, top soil to me replaced with mixture of sweet soil and Vermicompost in 3:1 ratio before planting.

Spreading of sludge, dump manure or/and good earth in required thickness as per directions of officer in-charge (cost of sludge, dump manure or/and good earth to be paid separately)

Mixing earth and sludge or manure in proportion specified or directed by officer in charge.

Uprooting weeds from the trenched area after 10 to 15 days of its flooding with water including disposal of uprooted vegetation

Flooding the ground with water including making kiaries and dismantling the same

Preparation of mounds of various size and shape by available excavated/supplied earth in layers not exceeding20 cm in depth, breaking clods, watering of each layer dressing etc. lead upto 50 meter and lift upto 1.5 m complete as per direction of officer- in -charge

Maintenance

Supplying and stacking of good earth at site including royalty (earth measured in stacks will be reduced by 20% for payment)

Earth work in bulk excavation by manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 m2 on plan) including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 meters and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All kinds of soil

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade including curing but excluding the cost of centring and shuttering. All work upto plinth level with:1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Structural steel work in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.Welded

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting , hoisting , fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. Hot finished welded type tubes
