Daily Maintenance and Operation of the water supply plant of Keithelmanbi Grn with (one skilled operator in each shift, each shift consisting of 8 hours per shift) for the Sedimentation of water tanks and day to day daily maintenance of water supply system by maintaining attendance register of staff employed all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Contractor shall quote his rates for maint and operation of all slow sand filter tank 01, 02,03 an storage tank and all other eqpts including cleaning of plant areas, monitoring/ recording of cleaning of sedimentation water tanks and daily maintenance with following terms and conditions :- (i) Contractor will produce character certificate issued by Police Station, Education/qualification certificate and experience certificate belonging minimum 02 years of the staff employed and contractor shall be responsible for any disciplinary case of staff employed. (ii) Necessary life insurance will be done by contractor as per prevailing rules for tradesman employed for this job and original policy documents will be produced for verification and record. (iii) The terms of daily operation includes cleaning of sedimentation tanks of all slow sand filter and storage tanks and periodical maint and maintaing log sheets in standard performa to make records in consultation with Engr-in-charge. Periodically maint includes backwashing as per direction of Engr-in-Charge as per required. (iv) PENAL CHARGES :- If any of the activity mentioned above is not performed by the contractor than recovery as under will be affected :- N.B. Absent on duty of Technician - Rs. 1000 per shif.

Daily Maintenance of plumbing for the water supply of the Keithelmanbi Grn with (one skilled operator in each shift, each shift consisting of 8 hours per shift) for daily maintenance of water supply and day to day complaint maintenance of water supply system of plumbing by maintaining attendance register of staff employed all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Contractor shall quote his rates for maint and operation of one skilled plumber and all other eqpts including cleaning of over head tank of the Grn, monitoring/ recording of cleaning of all over head tanks and daily maint of plumbing with the following terms and conditions :- (i) Contractor will produce character certificate issued by Police Station, Education/qualification certificate and experience certificate belonging minimum 02 years of the staff employed and contractor shall be responsible for any disciplinary case of staff employed. (ii) Necessary life insurance will be done by contractor as per prevailing rules for tradesman employed for this job and original policy documents will be produced for verification and record. (iii) The terms of daily operation includes cleaning of all over head tanks and daily maint of complaint of plumbing, maintaing log sheets in standard performa to make records in consultation with Engr-in-charge and periodically maint includes backwashing as per direction of Engr-in-Charge as per required. SCHEDULE `A' PART-II (Manit of Slow sand filter):

Cleaning of under ground sump, Sedimentation water tanks, Over Head R.C.C. Tank (independent staging) including disposal of slit and rubbish, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consist following operations:- (i) Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits. (ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water. (iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine. (iv) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all loose particles shall be removal from the surface. (v) Finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

12 mm cement plaster finished with a floating coat of neat cement of mix : 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand)

Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in cement concrete work in doses by weight of cement as per manufacturer's specification

P/L of 0.25 cm thick sand for filter media having the following properties: (a) Sand should be hard & resistant, quartz orquartzite, free from clay and dirt of any description etc. (b) Effective size shall be 0.30 mm (c ) Uniformity co-efficient should be 2.00 to 3.00 (d) Silicon content should be less than 99.80% (e) Wearing less/shall not exceed 3%

Supplying and providing of bleaching powder when as required
