Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm deep in area exceeding 400 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

75 mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in one layer with coarse aggregate (granite) of grading II (40 to 63mm size) spread, voids filled with screenings and blinded with coarse sand rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber, complete all as specified.

All as per item Mo.2 above but except stone.

Preparing surfaces of unsurfaced water bound macadem by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified.

Applying evenly a priming coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 10Kg /10 Sqm on unsurfaced surfaces i.e. potholes and WBM surface complete all as specified.

Preparing surface of black top by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified.

Applying evenly a priming/tack coat of paving bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5Kg /10 Sqm on black top surface complete all as specified.

Premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with binder content 4% by weight of total mix, rolled with 8 to 12 ton power road roller and compacted to required camber, gradient complete all as specified and as directed.

Bituminous pre-mixed asphaltic dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness, with 6% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG 10, spread,rolled and consolidated with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified. Note : (i) Automatic hot mixing plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregate, bitumen etc for premix dense asphaltic concrete and mix for both items shall be laid with mechanical pavers. (ii) Quantity of bitumen in dense asphaltic concrete shall be used as per design mix and shall be approved by the GE. Any variation in quantity of bitumen in desigm mix shall be priced as specified in the particular specification through deviation order. Unit rate quoted shall deemed to include the cost of design mix.

2.5mm thick road marking strips (reflective) of specified shade colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, gum beds dispenser propane tank healers and profile shoe heater drivern by skilled operator on road surfaces including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc as per applicator specifications complete all as specified.

Repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edge to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rmmed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified.

Dual direction road studs, cat eye of impact ABS plastic/polycarbonate studs 100 x 100 mm having ultraviolet resistance colour (white,red,yellow) with plastic strip connecting 31 mini retro reflective glass beads of colour (white,red,yellow) to a side provided with steel zinc plated nails of dia 12 mm and length 120 mm for fixing to road by hammering including taking down old one complete all as specified. Removing spoil ( material obtained from scarifying) to a distance exceeding 500 metre and not exceeding 1000 metre including loading and unloading and depositing where directed complete all specified.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipe (SWG) internal dia 200 mm set in cement mortar (excluding cement concrete bed which will be measured separately) complete all as specified.

Concrete bed to drain pipe including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipe after they are laid and tested in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) for 200 mm bore of pipe complete all as specified.

Reinforced concrete pipes 200 mm bore class NP 2 with one collor per length of pipe complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provIded for complete all as specified.

PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channel / drains complete all as specified.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete, including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped ends complete all as specified.
