Milling of distress bituminous layer upto 70mm depth in a single pass with suitable milling machine (capable of milling @ 200-300 sqm area per Hr.) fitted with loading conveyor for loading the milled material directly on the trucks i/c hauling and stock piling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant or reclaiming to bring to required specification to reuse with the approval of Engineer-in-Charge for safe disposal with all leads and lifts complete in all respects. Note :- 1. The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item as mention in BOQ item No. 32. 2. The quantity of reclaimed material shall be considered minimum 80% of theoretical volume. The reclaimed material shall be used 30% of total quantity of DBM item No. 8 as per clause No. 519 of MoRT&H specifications.

Earth work excavation in ordinary soil exclusive of compensation of earth. Kassi work undressed involving an average horizontal throw upto 2 metres, and an average vertical lift upto 0.5 metre including breaking of clods. Excavated earth may be reused on berms and disposed off surplus earth with all lead and lift including dressing complete in territorial as per direction of Engineer-in-charge will be incidental to work and nothing will be paid. Providing and laying 150/200 mm thick granular sub base consisting of drainage-cum-filter layer confirming to Table 400.1 Grading - VI of MoRT&H 5th edition, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mix material to the site of work, spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve desired density complete as per clause No. 401 of MoRT&H specifications. Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing & laying 75/150mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Providing, laying 75mm thick spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.406. (N.S.) Note: - 1.Only crushed stone metal material should be used. No local earth/ natural occurring sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by engineer.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade - I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. per sqm. on the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing & laying 50 mm DBM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenation as required, grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause 519. (5th revision) 2013 using bitumen VG-30 (minimum Bitumen's 4.50% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula ) using 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P, appropriate rollers and with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade. The milled material to be used in DBM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. Note: - If bitumen required more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. 3). Where there is DBM on existing black top , cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification 5th revision clause No. 3004.3, which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2, 3004.3.3 and 3004.2 of MoRT&H specification 5th revision respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for cracks sealed but no payment on this account shall be made as crack filling is incidental to work.

Providing and laying 30 mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100 - 120 TPH Batch Type Hot Mix Plant with bituminous binder VG-30 @ 5.4% (minimum) and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher having sufficient screed width so that the BC in full width of the carriage way is laid in single opration without any longititutinal joint with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred roller (PTR) of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Vth revision)-2013 Clause No. 507 complete in all respect. If bitumen required is more than 5.4% as per job mix including waste plastic material no extra payment will be made, Extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Providing and laying 80mm thick interlocking paver blocks ISI marked (IS code: 15658:2006) of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 as per IRC:SP:63-2004, over a bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respects. [HSR 10.159]

Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry, in 15 cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30 metres.(HSR 6.6)

Providing, lowering, cutting, jointing and testing 600mm dia RCC pipe Class NP-3 as per IS 458-2003 with Spigot and socketed joints manufactured with ISI marked Sulphate Resistance Cement as per ISI 12330 with rubber rings ISI marked , antitermite as required at site , into trenches, for all depths and laying out the same to correct alignments, gradients and levels including dressing and trimming and cutting of concrete beds and sides of trenches , if required , Jointing with rubber rings in trenches and jointing with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and with end dowels filled with 1:1 ½ cement sand mortar and finishing the joints at angle of 45 degree with faces of spigot of socket joints cutting and finishing the cut surface to a uniform finish etc. as fully described in (HSR item No 29.38,29.44,29.45 & 29.46) including cartage , loading and unloading complete in all respects. Note: - Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released.

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflector zing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulously followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

Providing and installing shoulder mounted direction signage of various sizes using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheet conforming to IRC-67-2012 type IV, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick Aluminium composite panels as base board with pressure sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminium on both sides supported on single or two nos, Mild steel pipe post 80 mm NB medium class 4 mm thick embedded in M-20 grade concrete foundation of size (600 mm X 600 mm X 750 mm) complete as per drawings Technical specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Size 1200 mm x 900 mm.

Providing & erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS gantry supported by M. S. Pipe Structure (MS Pipe should be of TATA/Sail/Jindal/RINL make only) complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including painting with red oxide primer and first quality synthetic enamel paint, construction of R. C. C. foundation for providing of M. S Tubular structure for Cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C. C. mix to be in ratio of 1:1½:3 (RCC 1:1½:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 the work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge. Note: - Foundation including reinforcement etc. as per Drawing. Cantilever Over head Sign gantry. (r-Type) frame/truss Size- 3.05 m x 1.525 m Note: - This item is excluding sign boards which will be payable extra as per item No. 30

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M)

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- i) Bitumen mix material @ 1396.80/- cum Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note: i) In case of any difference in the unit and nomenclature of any of the HSR items of Civil / PH & EI works depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit & nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable. ii) Only reputed make material will be used (make / brand/ exhibited in HSR and exhibited in approved documents) as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, while executing various items / works as site.
