SH: I (Civil Works) Providing and applying tack coat using low viscosity paving bitumen of VG 10 grade conforming to IS:73, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit at the rate specified below, cleaning and preparing the existing pavement surface as per specifications complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. If the actual quantity of bitumen varies from the quantity specified, necessary cost adjustment for deviation in the quantity of bitumen shall be done as per rate in actual supply voucher from nearest refinery at the time of execution. The rate of bitumen exclusive of GST shall only be considered for payment. a) 0.20 Kg/Sqm on existing bituminous surface.
Providing and laying of Hot Mix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) using crushed stone aggregate of quality, size and grading as specified and cement as specified and Viscosity Grade Bitumen (supplied in bulk) in proportions as per job mix formula and laid to specified levels, grade and camber as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge including compacting with 8-10 tonne, preferably vibratory road roller of adequate capacity to achieve the specified values of compaction, strength, surface accuracy complete [for tendering purpose VG bitumen of grade VG- 30 shall be taken as 110 kg/m3 of mix supplied in bulk produced by Govt. Refineries and 2% cement by weight of aggregates as filler material].

Painting runway/taxi track/apron marking with adequate nos of coats to give uniform finish with road marking paint of superior make as approved by the Engineer-in-charge, i/c cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc. and lining out complete. White washing with lime to give an even shade : New work (three or more coats)
Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means in Hard rock (Blasting prohibited) with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity with Jack Hammer attachment including cutting,stacking for measurement at excavated site itself and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, transporting the excavated rock/boulders to the filling location upto 5 km lead within the Airport premises for all lifts , braking clods leveling fine dressing in accordance with requirements of level grades and cross sections, etc. as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (The net quantity of rocks shall be arrived at by applying deduction of 50% for payment to allow for voids in stack's measurement as per CPWD specification)
Supplying, laying and levelling/spreading at site Coarse Sand as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means in Soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, transporting the excavated earth to the filling location for lead upto 5 km distance within the Airport premises and for all lifts , braking clods leveling fine dressing in accordance with requirements of level grades and cross sections, etc. as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
Supplying, filling/laying/spreading moorum obtained from approved quarry including breaking clods, leveling, rolling with Static roller having 8-10 tonne capacity, fine dressing to the required grade with motor grader, camber and slope complete with all leads and lifts as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge . (The item includes cost of work, payment of necessary royalty, carriage of moorum upto work site for all leads and lifts involved from all sources acquired or arranged by the contractor. Payment shall be made on level basis only.)
Carrying out soil investigation on soil samples collected from basic strip of operational area of Shirdi Airport, Maharashtra. The soil samples at basic strip to be collected by contractor from 12 locations (4 locations at North Side of Runway, 4 locations at South Side of Runway and 4 locations at RESA on both side of runway end) at depth 0.15m, 0.5m and 1.5m from existing ground level for each pit. The minimum size of pits of size L=1m, B=1m, Depth=1.5m each on either side of the runway. Tests to be carried out by contractor on all soil samples are: i) Particle size analysis (12 X 3 = 36 samples). ii) Liquid Limit, Plastic Limit, Plasticity Index, Swell Index for soil (12 X 3 = 36 samples). iii) In-situ density, dry density, Natural moisture content of soil, OMC, MDD (12 X 3 = 36 samples) iv) Water table level, if encountered within 1.5m depth from the existing GL - 12 No. v) Soaked (04 days soaking in water) and un-soaked CBR tests shall be carried out on samples collected at 0.15m depth from the existing GL at field density and field moisture content, to stimulate the field condition (12 samples for Soaked CBR test and 12 samples for un-soaked CBR test). vi) Submission of report including all test results mentioned above and recommendation of the soil consultant regarding the soil stabilization/ ground improvement including thickness of layer to be stabilized/improved to achieve the minimum CBR value of 15 (1 No.).
Providing services of passenger vehicle like Mahindra Scorpio /Bolero or equivalent (not older than two years) of cylinder capacity of minimum 1400 cc having commercial registration, valid fitness and PUC including fuel, qualified experienced licensed driver, overall maintenance etc. on monthly hire charge basis at Shirdi Airport for taking the samples from work / plant site to laboratory and movement of officials during the progress of work for checking / controlling the quality of work. The agency has to produce and submit all the valid documents relevant to the vehicle and driver such as Registration Certificate, Driving License, Insurance, fitness certificate and PUC (and any other prevalent RTO regulatory document) etc. for arranging AEP, ADP for working within Airport premises. Rates quoted by agency besides above also includes- i) All necessary passes of vehicle, driver entry shall be arranged by Agency by following all security norms instructions and paying the required fee of passes as decided by airport operator. ii) Vehicle running upto 2000 kms /month to be provided at the time of day as directed by Engineer-In-Charge (E-I-C)or his authorised representative in fit condition with interior,exterior cleaned,required fuel filled etc . iii) Daily meter reading of Vehicle shall be recorded in log book at the time of its reporting to Engineer-In-Charge and leaving when driver is asked for by E-I-C.Thus Daily km usage shall be added for calculating monthly usage of vehicle. Note-Rates quoted by agency shall be inclusive of all above. If the total km is less than 2000 km in a month , the Running account (RA) bill will be prepared on the basis of pro- rata basis.If Agency fails to provide vehicle fit in all respect as mentioned above, the recovery shall be done as Rs. 4000/- per day from the bill/dues of Agency.
Supply and installation of Porta cabins for offices (liftable and shiftable) of size 6 m length, 3 m width and 2.4 m height made up of MS structure with tubular and angular structural sections, with exterior skin of 1mm thick MS corrugated sheet prepainted with anticorrosive epoxy paint with epoxy primer with Internal wall panelling (50mm thick rockwool of density 48kg/m3) and roof (50mm thick glasswool of density 24kg/m3) with minimum 5.5mm thick prelaminated MDF board and flat roof in 1mm thick MS corrugated sheet with proper slope for water drainage with glasswool insulation, with false ceiling made up of 5.5mm thick pre laminated MDF board, with flooring on bottom frame of 18mm thick cement fiber board and 1mm thik PVC Vinyl carpet fixed on the top of it, with external opening type MS Doors 900mm width with locking arrangements and handles with windows of aluminium power coated / UPVC windows, with concealed internal wiring, Electrical fittings, Split Type AC 1.5 Tonne (5 star rating) as per technical specifications etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

MS Doors 900mm width with locking arrangements and handles with openings for exhaust fans on outer wall, with concealed internal wiring, Electrical fittings, sanitary fittings as per technical specifications etc. all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
SH: II (Electrical Works) Fabrication and supply of M.S adapter collar box of height 100 mm suitable for M.S transformer housing box of size 750 mm x 300 mm with 3 compartments made from 6 mm thick M.S sheet having detachable plates on both the side compartments and fixed plate of 10 mm thickness with circular opening of 225 mm i/c provision of 8 nos 10 mm holes in the support channel of the side compartments and 6 nos 10 mm holes in the middle portion compartment suitable for fixing the base of Runway Elevated Edge Light Fitting. All the holes shall be tapped for fixing M-10 size SS bolts 25-35 mm long with SS washers i/c providing 22 nos SS bolts with washers as per above size. The adapter box with detachable plates shall be painted with one coat of metal primer and two coats of black synthetic enamel paint complete as required.
Fabrication and supply of M.S adapter collar box of height 100 mm suitable for M.S transformer housing box of size 330 mm x 330 mm with fixed plate of 10 mm thickness with circular opening of 225 mm i/c provision of 6 nos 10 mm holes in the middle portion compartment suitable for fixing the base of Runway/Taxiway Elevated Edge Light Fitting. All the holes shall be tapped for fixing M-10 size SS bolts 25-35 mm long with SS washers i/c providing 6 nos SS bolts with washers as per above size. The adapter box shall be painted with one coat of metal primer and two coats of black synthetic enamel paint complete as required.
Dismantling of Elevated type RWY / TWY / Threshold / RWY End Light fittings from its installed position and keeping the same in store complete as required.
Dismantling of inset type RWY / Threshold / RWY End Light fittings from its installed position including its housing box and keeping the same in store complete as required.
Installation of MS Adapter Collar Box as per Item No.15 over the existing MS transformer Housing Box i/c providing suitable size and thickness of Rubber Gaskets between the two surfaces complete as required.

Supply of 5 KV grade plug & receptacle (Essna Connector) of type I class B connector & suitable for field attachment with 5 KV grade PVC insulated and PVC sheathed single core 6 Sq.mm copper conductor cable complete as required.
Making field connection by crimping 6 Sq.mm plug and receptacle on single core 6 sqmm copper conductor cable in an approved manner including applying HT tape etc. as reqd.
Supply of 1.1 KV grade plug & receptacle (Essna Connector) of type II class B connector & suitable for field attachment with 1.1 KV grade PVC insulated and PVC sheathed 2 core 4 Sq.mm copper conductor cable i/c field connection by crimping and applying insulation tape etc complete as required.
Providing and fixing of 25 mm. Dia. G.I. pipe with all accessories like socket, bend, Tee etc from Transformer Housing Box to Inset Fitting i/c Chase cutting the kerf with machine for suitable size and depth, refilling with bitumen mix or suitable sealant complete as required.
Supply of 2 x 4 Sq.mm. PVC insulated, PVC sheathed 1.1KV grade stranded copper conductor cable for using as Secondary lead of RWY fittings.
Supply of single core 4 Sq.mm 1.1KV grade, copper conductor, PVC insulated flexible cable for earthing as required.
Laying of one number 2 x 4 Sq.mm. PVC insulated, PVC sheathed 1.1KV grade copper conductor cable alongwith one number 4 Sq.mm copper conductor PVC insulated flexible cable in the existing RCC/ HUME/ STONEWARE/ METAL/ HDPE pipe as required.
Installation, Testing and commisioning of Elevated type RWY / TWY / Threshold / End light fittings on the existing Transformer Housing Box complete as required.
Installation, Testing and commisioning of Inset type RWY / Threshold / End light fittings i/c fixing of Housing Box by core cutting the existing surface of RWY and Fixing the housing box using suitable sealant & hardener material complete as required.
Numbering/nomenclature of the existing Rwy/Taxiway/Turning Pad/TH/End Light fittings after providing a round background of 4" dia with Aviation Yellow synthetic enamel paint and numbering with Black synthetic enamel paint on it complete as required as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Carring out /Making in-field measurement of intensity, beam spread,orientation , chromaticity, luminous factor, one time field alignment setting for inset/ elevated type approach , inset/elevated type runway edge , elevated runway end ,inset /elevated type threshold , PAPI airfields ground lights , by using vehicle mounted Mobile Testing Equipment system, frame Reader, submission of test reports etc as per requirement of ICAO/Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR) Section-4 Aerodrome standard & licensing series ‘B’ Part-I , Technical specification etc. complete as required as per the detail inventory of airfield ground lighting(AGL) fixtures at the Airport.
