ELECTRICAL HEAT TRACING FOR NEW BITUMEN TANKS

Electrical Heat Tracing — The scope includes the detailed design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a Skin-Effect Heat Tracing (STS) system for 12" and 16" pipelines and Electrical heat tracing Conventional (SR) system for associated tapings and in-plant piping network as per piping GA drawing, isometrics and Stress Analysis reports attached as a part of this tender. A critical requirement for the STS is 100% redundancy (1 working + 1 standby) for all components, including heat tubes, 11kV Scott-T transformers, and secondary protection panels. For the STS, the vendor shall supply heat tubes and special insulated pipe supports but provide supervision only for their welding and installation (executed by HPCL), while fully supply and installing tracers, transformers, cabling, panels and other accessories required. The scope includes the complete supply and application of thermal insulation with cladding for both the STS and SR systems. S&I of Skin Effect EHT for 16'' — These unit prices shall apply to the complete STS system for any addition or deletion of pipeline lengths upto ±20% variation in pipe lengths from those mentioned as per the piping GA and isometric drawings included in the tender documents, encountered during execution of the job. Also, these shall be applied based on pipeline length addition or deletion. No separate rates shall be applicable for individual com ponents or equipment of the STS system, such as tracer cables, heat tubes, JBs, cables, PDBs, earthing, cable trays, etc. The prices for addition or deletion of STS system components shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for pipeline length additi on/deletion.

S&I of Thermal Insu for 16'' Line — These shall be applied based on pipeline length addition or deletion. No separate rates shall be applicable for individual components of the Thermal Insulation System, such as insulation materials, cladding/jacketing, bands, screws, rivets, sealants, etc. The cost for addition or deletion of these components is deemed to be included in the composite unit rate quoted for pipeline length addition/deletion.
