M & L for scrapping of old painted surfaces of electric pole covered by dust and other deposited materials by cleaning from steel tubular pole of length upto 11 metres including cross arms, bracing, clamps etc and painting with one coat of aluminium paint, retaining & repainting marking on pole & replacement of reflective band of width 4 cm RED-YELLOW-RED alternate coloured 3 numbers complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for scrapping existing deteriorated old aluminium paint by hard wire brush painting the existing 2 pole structure by aluminium paint including cross arms, support angles, clamps and any other structural part complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for fault detection in damaged HT/LT UG cable by using cable fault detector/locator vehicle mounted comprising of surge generator pulse, ECHO fault locator with high frequency distance calculator etc to accuracy of 2 meter for UG cables of any size any type upto 11 KV incl excavation & Earthwork in any type of stratra to usually inspect/repair the damaged cable when and where required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Complaint will be notified to contractor on mobile phone at any time and contractor is responsible to rectify the fault within 4 hrs after notification, failing which Rs. 500/- per hrs shall be recovered from contractors dues. (ii) Rates included necessary earth work in any type of strata or road for opening the cable and prepare the cable ready to jointing work and making good to match with existing finishes. (iii) Cable jointing kit will be measured separately under relevant item.

M&L for Loose filling with aggregates of broken stone gauge 40 to 80 mm in HT substation yard complete including removal of any debris and vegetation etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25 x 20 cm size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

M & L for scrapping existing deteriorated old paint by hard wire brush, painting the existing HT panel by aluminium paint including handles minor parts complete and any other structural part complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for earthing in repairs complete with galvanized steel plate earth electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick surrounded by char coal and salt buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less then 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at depth of not less then 1.5 mtr below ground level surrounded from all sides by char coal dust and common salt in alternate layers of 15 cm depth and earth plate electrode connected to galvanised earth lead wire of 4.0mm dia by means of GI nuts bolts, check nuts and washers and connected to earthling test point drawn through 15mm dia GI pipe for protection of GI earth lead wire including 20mm dia GI pipe for watering GI funnel , PCC earth pit (1:3:6) type C-2 with CI frame and RCC cover all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 on SSR Part-I including testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. M&L for bore type chemical Earthing of bore dia 150mm in replacement complete with GI electrode of 40mm bore buried in 3 mtr depth with ground enhancing backfill compound (Safe ground) , the compound should be highly conductive, Hygroscopic, non magnetic, non corrosive in nature and should have best moisture retaining quality including necessary returning filling in & removal and pvc pit cover complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of size 32x6mm galvanised iron strip fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to ples or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement aluminium conductor, steel reinforced overhead conductors (all sizes) incl binding wire etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation of poles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning in replacement of factory made outdoor type Feeder fillar box of size 1200mm x1200mm x400mm mounted on MS Channel CPRI approved suitable for HT 11 KV grade 3 phase 3 wire system with 09 Nos epoxy insulators and 03 Nos copper bus bar of suitable size and made out of 3.15mm powder coated CRCA sheet having gasketed front hinged split doors with bottom detachable gland plate for upto 3 cable entry/exit of size upto 300 sqmm with suitable size of cadmium plated and nuts, bolts and wshers and incl weatherproof, bottom hole, outdoor triple key weather proof pad lockings. The panel shall be of powder coated smoke grey colour duly marked "MES HT 11 KV" complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for spraying chemical (roundup/glycel) on area to remove unwanted vegitation/grass at various locations as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: (i) Labour and equipments to spray chemical on required area are incl in quoted rates. (ii) Spray will be repeated as and when required basis as per direction of Engr in Charge.

S & F in replacement unsv HT 11 KV bus bar insulator of HT panel complete as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement glow sign board box type printed on poly carbonated sheet of size 200 x 100 x 25 cm holding on 3.5 mtr height on Stainless steel pipe 32 mm, height 3 mtr, having provision of 3 x LED tube light inside the box and 10 mtrs 3 core 1.5 sqmm circular PVC connecting wire with hanging arrangment complete all as directed by Engr -in charge. Note :- Background, font size & colour and material to be printed on board shall be as per direction of Engr-in-Charge.

S&F shock treatment chart duly printed with hindi & english, fitted with wooden card board of size 100 CM x60CM with hanging arrengment for installations complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for filtration/dehydration transformer (voltage grade 11/0.433 KV ) indooor/outdoor type, mounted on 2/4 pole structure/plinth/substation at site/work shop by dehydration/filtration plant to achieve dielectric strength of 60 KV at 4 mm gap complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. Contractor is responsible to arrange filtration plant and rate for the same is included in this item. 2. DG set required for operation of filtration plant shall be arranged by the contractor and rate for the same is included in this item. 3. Any damage occurred to transformer during the process of dehydration shall be made good by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge at his own expenses.

Supply and pouring new transformer oil as per IS : 335 (1993) for transformers installed at various site for topping up,complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : Transformer oil shall be brought at site in sealed container from the original manufacturer and shall be opened in front of Engr-in-charge.

M&L for disconnecting the HT & LT connections and taking down of existing Indoor/Outdoor transformer mounted on 2/4 pole structure/plinth/substation for of opening of top cover in situ or at wksp by unscrewing all nuts, bolts & wahsers draining out transformer oil upto required level and keeping in clean container for replacement of HT/LT bushings, for repair of tap changer gas kit, for lifting of core assy, for cleanning/repair and refixing complete with new cork sheet gasket, new nuts, bolts & washers for transformer, refilling of oil all as specified and directed for transformer capacity 11/0.433 KV upto 500 KVA Note: (i) Quoted rate include arrangement of manpower, tools , plants , crane and recovery vehicle for transportation and shifting of transformer to work shop and back if found defective. (ii) HT/LT bushings studs required new will be measured separately under relevant item. (iii) Re-winding of defective winding of transformer, if required will be measured and paid separately under relevant item . (iv) Replacement of defective part will be carried out only after inspection and recommendation of Engr-in-Charge . (v) Any damage occurred to transformer during the process of disconnecting/taking down/transportation, shall be made good by the contractor to the entire satisfaction of the Eng-in-charge at his own expenses.

Material and Labour for preparing surfaces of transformer of capacity up to 630 KVA by rubbing old paint and applying two coats of spray painting with existing colur paint from outside and wiring SM/MES number after painting complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- 1. Painting of transformer will be carried out for plinth mounted and pole mounted transformer. 2. Necessary tools and plants shall be arranged by the contractor. 3. After completion of painting HT/LT outdoor bushing cable termination joint, oil inspection glass and name plates to be made clean using cleanner. 4. Contractor will arrange electric supply for spray machine during painting.

Taking down HT 11 KV VCB of capacity upto 800 Amps after disconnecting HT supply for servicing, repair, replacement of defective/worn out componenets and reassembling complete compreising of the following including testing and commissioning to the entire satisfication of Engr-in-Chage. (a) Dismantling the HT Circuit Breaker from the enclosure consisting of vacuum interrupter assembly, socket contacts checking the serviceability of the parts carefully including cleaning, adjustments, replacement of defective/worn out parts and reassembling the units complete. (b) Cleaning the external surface of bushings with cleaner or liquid amonia to remove the accumulation of dirt or any other deposits, inspection of bushings and make sure that vibration due to breaker operation have not caused the busings to move resulting misalingment of contacts. (c) Checking the vaccum interrupter assembly and contacts, checking the alignment of contacts and setting the contact surfaces to bare firm and unitorm pressure and adjustment the gap as per manufacturers tolerance and replacement of badly spotted contacts. (d) Checking the breaker bushing of bus bar and circuit side inspecting the internal surface carefully for any charging/trackings, replacement of bushings etc.

(e) Checking the condition of the spring charging motor along with gear box including servicing to motor commutator bushes lubrication of bearing surfaces etc. (f) Checking the ratchet wheet assembly, driving and charging parts including replacement of defective ratchet wheet and parts. (g) Checking the operation mechansim of the breaker and ensure its operation freely through entire stroke. parts which shows excessive wear and tear to be replaced or adjusted as per manufacturers tolerance. (h) Review the adjustment of all pressure switches and lockout devices. (j) Inspecting all bolts nuts, pins and coller pin are in place and they are open/close properly. Note :- (a) Parts required will be replaced under relevant items. (b) Measurement of resistance value tools, labour, petrolium jelly are incl in the quoted rate of the item.
