M&L for new point wiring with 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) two single core PVC insulated unsheathed multi stranded copper conductor cable 1100 volts grade, FRLS-H grade in and including medium duty concealed PVC conduit 20 mm dia or higher and conduit fittings with cutting chases making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 and all accessories with suitable size of sunk type cast iron or pressed steel terminal box 1.2mm thick, duly painted for mounting of Modular switches, sockets, fan regulator etc with modular white cover plate as top cover, including contineous earth wire PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi stranded copper conductor cable 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) FRLS-H grade, green colour, up to common earth and connected to earth dolly compete all as specified and directed by Eng.-in-charge of the following. Note: (a) Colour code shall be maintained as per IE rule (b) Modular Metal flush box,plate and frame shall be measured and paid seprately

M&L for earthing complete with using galvanized mild steel earth plate (electrode) 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.50 m below ground level and earth plate surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to be packed thickness of 15 cm all round the plate using 4 mm dia GI earth lead wire as earth lead moulded and rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected to main equipment at switch/control board at another end, GI earth lead protected in and including 15 mm dia GI ‘medium grade’ pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipment with & including 20 mm dia bore GI pipe ‘medium grade’ as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of the earth plate, GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and provision of PCC 1:2:4 type B1(using 20 mm graded stone agg) as in pits chamber and RCC pit cover 50 mm thick of precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as per electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-II 2010 and testing on completion all as specified and directed.
